Abstract
Staphylococcus aureus is a bacterial pathogen that causes bacteremia and infections in several organs of the body as well as infections that are transmitted through medical equipment. In the case of bacterial infections, the data shows an increase in the amount of resistance and changes in the spectrum of disease. This study aims to evaluate the activity of the ethyl hexane fraction of landep leaves ethanol extract against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The method used is an experimental method where the ethyl hexane fraction of landep leaves ethanol extract was tested on 5 groups of mice at a dose of 0.3 mg /kg; 0.6 mg /kg; 1.2 mg /kg; 2.4 mg /kg and 4.8 mg /kg. We are using NaCl as a negative control group and Amoxicillin 500 mg/kg as positive control group. Intravenous fluids from mice that have been treated are cultured on agar media and counted bacterial colonies. The results showed that the fraction of landep leaves gave an antibacterial effect at a dose of 2.4 mg / kg BW and 4.8 mg / kg BW but it was not significant compared to Amoxicillin administration

IMPLEMENTASI STANDAR PELAYANAN KEFARMASIAN DI APOTEK NOMOR 9 TAHUN 2017 DI KABUPATEN MAGELANG IMPLEMENTATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES STANDARDS IN PHARMACY NUMBER 9 Of 2017 IN MAGELANG DISTRICT Ni Made Ayu Nila Septianingrum1*, Fitriana Yuliastuti2, Widarika Santi Hapsari3, Jeni Eri Viana4 1,2,4 D3 Farmasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang 3 S1 Farmasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang Email : nimadeayunila@ummgl.ac.id ABSTRAK Patient-oriented pharmaceutical services are now the main focus of the pharmaceutical world. By prioritizing patient-oriented means that the guarantee to provide patient safety is very important. To create this, Minister of Health Regulation No. 9 of 2017 was made regarding pharmaceutical service standards at Pharmacies. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of PMK No. 9 of 2017 in the Magelang Regency Pharmacy which includes the management of pharmaceutical preparations, pharmaceutical services, Human Resources and infrastructure facilities. This research is descriptive observational using questionnaire. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. The sample of this study was 34 pharmaceutical workers from 14 pharmacies in Magelang Regency. The results obtained in the management of pharmaceutical preparations, pharmaceutical services, facilities and infrastructure have been implemented well (76% - 100%) in the Pharmacy District of Magelang, while the results for the implementation of human resources are sufficient (55% - 75%). Abstract
Introduction: The ethyl acetate extract of Musa paradisiaca L. leaves contains quercetin. The main problem of quercetin associated with oral administration is its poor aqueous solubility. Nanoemulsion is drug delivery system that it was prove to enhancement the solubility and permeation of lipophilic drugs. The research aimed to investigate nanoemulsion as carrier of extract to improve the activity of antioxidant and antibacterial. Methods: The nanoemulsion of extract was formulated by various concentration of Tween 80 and PEG 400, and its was optimized by Factorial Design. The antioxidant and antibacterial activity of nanoemulsion and extract were determined by DPPH and Kirby Bauer methods, respectively, and its analyzed by independent T-test. Results: The optimum formula was obtained by 15% Tween-80 and 10% PEG-400. It has pH 6.4, droplet size 15.3 nm, a polydispersion index (PI) 0.012, a zeta potential of -23.3 mV, and stable during stability tests. The zone of inhibition of nanoemulsion is 14 mm againts S. Aureus and 10.33 mm againts E. Coli, and it exhibited a greater antibacterial acitivity than extract, having a zone 8.7 mm and 7.3 mm. Similarly, the nanoemulsion showed a better antioxidant activity at 29.52 ppm than extract at 54.69 ppm. The independent T test showed that nanoemulsion significantly improved antioxidant and antibacterial activities againts S. Aureus and E. Coli with p value 0.001, 0.003, and 0.000 respectively. The results prove that nanoemulsion succesfully improve antioxidant and antibacterial activity.

Abstract
Ketoprofen has low solubility in water with unpleasant taste. Efforts to improve solubility and taste are by forming inclusion complexes using β-cyclodextrin. In its development to release ketoprofen quickly, fast disintegrating tablets (FDT) were prepared. The speed of drug release is influenced by the speed of disintegration tablets. The combination of sodium starch glycolate (SSG) and crospovidone (CP) combines swelling and wicking action which speeds up the disintegration of tablets. This study aims to obtain the optimum value of the combination of both in order to obtain FDT with optimum evaluation parameters according to the requirements. The study made 8 run FDT directly with variations in the concentration of SSG 2–8% and CP 2-5%. Evaluations carried out at each run included flow velocity tests, uniformity of preparation, hardness, friability, disintegration time, wetting time and dissolution. Data were analyzed using simplex lattice design method. The optimum formula predicted results are verified by analysis of one sample t-test. The results showed increasing the proportion of SSG increases hardness, disintegration time and wetting time and decreases fragility of FDT. The optimum formula found at combination of 2% SSG and 5% CP with optimum physical properties and percent release.

Abstract
Background. Mangrove leaf is one of the plants that live in the waters of Java which has many benefitas but has not been used optimally. Mangrove leaves contain several chemical compounds that can be used for health. On of the contents of Mangrove leaves can be used as an antibacterial. Objective. This study aims to determine the activity of Mangrove leaf extract on the bacterial inhibition process which can later be used as an antibacterial. Methode. This research is an experimental study. This study used tree concentration of extract. The extract is made with a concentration variation of 5%, 10%, and 20% to see the inhibitory activity of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and Eschericia coli bacteria. Bacterial identification test was carried out using agar media. Result. The results of this study indicate that the most effective antibacterial extract is the mangrove leaf extract in concentration 20%. Conclusion. effective dose for antibacteria effect of Mangrove leaf extract (Achantus illcifolius) is 200 mg.

Abstract
The prevalence of the use of pain reliefe medicine with self-medication conditions is still very high. However, on the other hand self-medication can be a source of drug-related problems. The purpose of this study was to explore the profile and behavior of self-medication related pain medication in the Magelang city. This study were used a cross sectional survey method. A total of 201 respondents were involved in this study. Respondents aged 18-60 years and selected by convenience sampling method. The data obtained and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The result as many as 87.6% of respondents had self-medication. The source of self-medication information was mostly obtained from family, neighbors or friends (47.8%). The main reasons to self-medication is advice from friends or family members (35.2%). The types of drugs that respondents use are modern medicine (61.7%), traditional or herbal medicine (23.9%), acupuncture treatment (3.5%) and other drugs (10.9%). The drug most widely used by respondents to treat pain is paracetamol (50.25%). Most pain reliefe medicine were obtained from pharmacies (70.1%). A total of 60.2% of respondents have pain medicine supplies at home. There is no relationship between sex (p=0,067), age (p=0,836), occupation (p=0,848), education (p=0,564) and income (p=0,101) towards self-medication behaviour. The role and function of the pharmacist in providing education related to medicine to the community needs to be improved.
