Abstract
The uses of technology commonly exist and essential to nowadays live. Mobile learning is one of the learnings tools that is easily used in this era. The aim of mobile devices nowadays are improved, its function is enlarged because the mobile devices can be used anywhere and anytime to connect the information, processes, and communications. Students consider that the function of using mobile to their learning is more productive. Physics is one of study that students often confused and mistakenly judged as a difficult subject to be learned. The advanced technology used in teaching and learning intended the researcher to build a mobile learning application especially in physics materials that relate with the used of Arduino UNO in form of technology. Generally, the process of developing the mobile learning application consist of several steps: (1) the content analysis; (2) the material source analysis; (3) the user analysis; (4) the software necessity analysis; (5) the hardware necessity analysis; (6) the design stage of mobile learning application making which consists of learning materials, flowchart, storyboard, interface making and coding. The method that used in this research was descriptive. The participants were 22 students of private Junior High School in Bogor and 3 science teachers from each respectively Junior High School in Bandung and Bogor. The experts in content, language, and media are evaluated by the mobile learning application. The results show that the overall of mobile learning application based on Arduino UNO is adequately received a good evaluation from each aspect. The students and science teachers are greatly welcomed for its implementation.

Abstract
This study is motivated by the importance of early childhood reading readiness as a first step to enter the beginning of reading stages. An ICT-based educational game containing an Indonesia folktale has been choosen to develop the early childhood reading readiness. The study is a descriptive research. The purpose of the study is to produce an educational game for early childhood reading readiness. The result of the study is the availability of an android-based folktale application to stimulate visual and auditory perception for early childhood reading readiness, which is developed using Eclips, Construct, and Photoshop program. This app can be run on android Kitkat OS, 1 GB memory, 480x800 screen. To develop this android app, there are several steps to be taken, including program design, scenario design, and program development. This app consists of Main Menu, About Me, Jungle Adventure, River Adventure, House Adventure, and Play in the Park. This app is interactive so the users can play it by themselves and choose the menus as they wish.

Abstract
Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) stated that one third of global food production became food waste. Therefore, food waste issue become worldwide concern that needs concrete and innovative solution combined with latest technology. These facts are the reasons why FAWless (Food Assist Wasteless) is made. This android based application is made to reduce food waste that is produced by society by helping them by distributing their extra food or almost expired food so that it is not wasted. Besides, FAWless is also made in order to put food waste into use. This research use descriptive method. The samples are grouped into four categories which are student, student dormitory, household, and small and medium enterprise .The result shows that samples are able to install and use FAWless application to distribute their extra food. The extra food is categorized into meal, snack, beverages, fruit and vegetable, expired food, fruit and vegetable waste. The samples can also donate money through FAWless for operational cost. Once the sample used FAWless, the food or donation will be picked up and distributed to people in need.

Argumentation Analysis of Primary School Students by Using the Toulmin Argument Model

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the arguments of elementary school students on thematic learning material using the Toulmin Argumentation Model. Toulmins Argumentation Model is a data collection instrument to manage the arguments submitted by students. The arguments presented in the form of answers from students who will be grouped into 5 groups, namely Data, Claims, Warrant, Backing, and Disclaimer. The results of students arguments show that 59.8% are categorized as Data, ie students understand the questions given so they can write any information based on knowledge they know, 74.25% are categorized as Claims, ie students are able to express their opinions in written form based on understanding of the questions given, 53% are categorized as Warrant, ie students are able to explain the relationship between Data and Claims, 48.8% are categorized as Backing, namely students are able to answer all questions asked and finally 93% of students are classified as refutation, that is, students are able to refute the questions given by researchers in making false statements. Based on the data it can be concluded that the level of argumentation of elementary school children is still low.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of lesson towards students- creative disposition and students- creativity in learning Newtons- Law and to investigate the relationship between students- creative disposition and students- creativity itself. The method that was used in this research was descriptive research. The sample was taken by cluster sampling technique which is joined by 77 students with the population of 8th-grade students at Junior High School in Garut. The data in this research is obtained through making a creative product and constructed questionnaire that is given to the students at the end of teaching and learning process. The result of the research shows that the lesson that was implemented in learning Newton Law built students- creative disposition. It is show on the result of creative dispositions questionnaire which has total average of 75.58%. Meanwhile, the lesson that was implemented in learning Newton Law built students- creativity in making the creative product. It shown on the result of a creative product that made which scored using Creative Measurement Tools (CMeT) and has total average about 73%. Students- creative disposition in learning newton law can build students- creativity in making the creative product. It can be proved by the result of correlation analysis using SPSS which is 0.593 that significant at the 0.05 level. Moreover, this research suggests the teachers to always make the lesson which is not only able to build students- creativity but students- creative disposition as well in another learning topics.

Abstract
The background of this research is the need to develop multimedia in early reading learning. Development of this Augmented Reality-Based Multimedia is also as an effort to introduce ICT to children. This study aims to produce a multimedia learning, which combines the use of flash cards, android applications, and 3-dimensional images in the early reading teaching and learning. This research is based on Research and Development. The steps taken in this research process refer to Borg & Gall (2003) research stages: (1) research and data collection, (2) planning, (3) application development, (4) initial field trials, (5) ) revision of test results, (6) product improvement, and (7) field test. This Augmeted Reality Multimedia has been validated by experts and is tested on a limited and wide basis to elementary school students, parents, and elementary school teachers. The test considers functionallity, efficiency, and usability of this media. The test results show that the user response to this media is good / positive.

Abstract
Revolution industry 4.0 is really related to technology, in which the Internet and cloud computing create different opportunities and challenges for formal education systems.Blended Learning approach is one approach that combined online learning and face to face learning. The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of Blended Learning on students- motivation in learning the solar system for 7th-grade students. The method used in this research was weak experiment research.Research design in this researchis used byThe One-Shot Case Study. Participants in this research were 16 male studentssecondary schoolsat one Privat Junior High School in Bandung, Indonesia. The average score of students motivation that learning used Blended Learning is 68.88 and categorized as adequately. The percentageis93.75% of students are categorized as adequately motivated and 6.25% of students categorized as highly motivated. Based on the results showed that Blended Learning can be an alternative tool to enhance students- motivation

Abstract
The unimodel is frequently used to learn any science concepts model of learning whereas the domain of science consists of some concepts that need various models as multimodel to conceive the science concepts correctly. There are three models experimented to 22 pre-service student Physics teachers as In-EcoP, PB-EcoP, and PjB-EcoP used to learn ecological phenomena. Climate change, deforestation, and used resource energy are the domain of ecological phenomena. The major aim of this research is to analyze the interaction effect between multimodel, ecological phenomena, and students competencies. The instruments of the equality test were valid and reliable. The data were analyzed by ANOVA using SPSS. The result of analyses showed the interaction effect In-EcoP model dissimilar with PB-EcoP and PjB-EcoP models toward ecological phenomena. This difference suggests a suitable model based on the matter of course effect to students learning outcomes as cognitive and affective domains.

The purpose of this research was to make video-based learning media as a guide to using Density Tab Tester and to know the feedback from the video. Methods of learning Media development through 6 development steps were: (1) analyzing the needs of learners; (2) Formulating learning objectives; (3) Formulate material items; (4) Develop an evaluation instrument; (5) Writing the script and taking pictures; (6) Perform feedback retrieval (N = 132). Abstract
This research aims to improve students creative thinking skills through indigenous knowledge. Creative thinking skills are one of HOTS (high level thinking skills) that are needed in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Indigenous knowledge is knowledge held by local communities where the community lives, interacts, socializes, learns, and activities related to daily life. By exploring indigenous knowledge, it is expected to be able to improve students creative thinking skills in finding solutions and solving problems faced in the current industrial era 4.0. There were 34 participants in this research who were students of Biology Education in the first semester. Furthermore, the method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, while the data analysis used is the analysis of the Rasch model.

Abstract
Higher order thinking skill (HOTs) dan 21stcentury moral values are pivotal skills to be mastered by student collegein todays- digitalized era. These are a part that has to be existing and facilitated during students carrying out the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to develop an instructional model called “Engage, Research, and Present (ERP)” model to promote students having HOTs and 21st moral values. The Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) was employed to determine consensus among a panel of several experts. They come from educational and psychological experts (i.e. researchers) and teachers who have experience at least 10 years. They should evaluate the ERP model encompassing 12 sub phases. Five sub phases are included in Engage, five in Research, and two sub phases encompassed in Present. Based on FDM approach, ERP instructional model provides several activities identified facilitating HOTs and 21st century moral values in science and social science learning.

Abstract
The growth of information technology in Industry ver 4.0 became the enabler of the digital literacy. Todays‘s Internet services is widely used to provide and to distribute information to the society. However, there are many challenges when implementing digital literacy and practicing it for students and society, increase the awareness of information and becomes digital literate. The presence of technology requires a different approach, compared to traditional or non-digital products. For example, reading and writing digital content, the used of devices ,content management are different. Good digital content should be made with a digital mechanism. But in contrary, most people created it by digitizing traditional content and published on the internet. This is happened because there has been no standard in making digital content model in creating digital content that contributes to digital literacy. For this reason a digital content model based on Social Studies Education is made to create the virtue of digital content. The digital model based on Social Studies Education is developed using research and development methods. The digital content model in this research is made to enabler society to be critical thinking and digital literate in the era of industry ver 4.0.

Abstract
Science is not only about concepts have been learning but also about moral values that very close with everyday life. Moral values on science learning should have can be applied in life. It will help the student for developing their good character. Character education is necessary to produce good generation. Character education can be integrated on science learning through teaching materials will be given. Teaching materials development can be done by using Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4S TMD) that consist of four stages, namely Selection, Structuring, Characterization, and Didactic Reduction. This article will describe how to develop integrated science teaching materials by using Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4S TMD). 4S TMD method is used because it has a didactic reduction stage where the level of difficulty of teaching materials is reduced according to the intellectual level and cognitive development of students. Besides, this teaching materials be contained moral values was integrated. Therefore, it is expected that students can develop their good character through teaching materials developed.

Abstract
The needs of developing competent human resources on 21st Century Skills nowadays are become an issue. One of the skills is creative thinking skill. In this research, STEM-based E-Module can be an option. Investigate the effect of implementing STEM-based E-Module, investigate the differences between the female and male groupon on their creative thinking, and determine students- impression on STEM-based E-Module are the objectives that have to be reached. The pre-experiment method with one group pre-test and post test was conducted through a research subject of 8th-grade students at a private school in Bandung that taken from a purposive sampling. Creative thinking was determined by a test of Verbal Torrance Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT) in Oxygen for Life topic, while students- impression obtained by a questionnaire. The result of this research stated that there is a significant difference between post-test of Verbal TTCT and minimum criteria of mastery learning that has been decided as standard, which is 65. The analysis was using t-paired test using SPSS. In differentiating between female and male group on their creative thinking, independent t-test was conducted. But there is no significant differences between female group and male group on their creative thinking.

Abstract
The aim of the study was to identify levels and model of understansding of prospective primary school teachers related to concepts of heat convection. This study uses the descriptive quantitative method. Research subject were 30 prospective primary school teachers at one university in Riau Province who had attended the basic concepts of science course with their lecturers. The instrument used to collect data is a conceptual understanding test consisting of four parts of the questions. The results showed that profile of levels of understanding of primary school teachers retated to concept of heat convection are: Sound Understanding (SU) (0 %), Partial Understanding (PU) (47%), Incorrect Understanding (IU) (20%), No Understanding (NU) (20%), No response (NR) (13%), and profile of model of understanding are: Optimum Model (OM) (0%), Uncreative Model (UM) (10%), Theoretical Model (TM) (20%), Practical Model (PM) (17%), Memorizing Model (MM) (20%), Inappropriate Model (IM) (33%). These results indicated that lectures on basic concept of science carried out by the lecturers had not facilitated the achievement of the sound understanding level and the optimum understanding model for prospective primary school teachers.

Abstract
The present study aims to identify argumentation skills of pre-service teachers. Argumentation skills are pivotal aspects have to be mastered by college students. They mastering these skills well potentially own good understanding of concepts. Therefore, it is crucial to identify argumentation skills for mapping learning activities. The present study utilizes single case study as a research method. There are fifty participants who are coming from two colleges in Indonesia. They focus on being physics and biology teachers for future. To analyze the argumentation skills of them, a three tier test is developed. This test has specific characteristic due to providing a certainty index of students. Strong scientific argumentation, intermediate scientific argumentation, weak argumentation, cannot propose argumentation, and invalid are types of certainty index provided. Finding research shows that weak argumentation is dominant type of certainty index. The implication of this present study is to generate a certain approach to teach argumentation skills

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of implementing project-based learning on students- creative disposition, creativity, and understanding in learning light and optics. The method that was used in this research was experimental research. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique in experimental class (n= 21 students) with the population of 8th grade students at Junior High School in Bandung. The experiment class was given treatment using Project-Based Learning. The result shows that creative disposition appear for 74.95 minutes of the total appearing time of all creative disposition indicators. Then, the result of students- creativity was 69.73% which categorized as good. According to the result of analysis of students- understanding, proves that there is improvement in students score in learning light and optics after the implementation of project-based learning. This result can also be seen by the significant 0.001 which means there was improvement in students; understanding. The recommendation of this research is to try to conduct the research in different topic.

Abstract
Education in Industrial Revolution 4.0 demand students to understand how they can use and correlate the knowledge to the real world. This fourth industrial revolution also needs students to know exactly whether, when, and where they can use the technology. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of implementing discovery learning supported by Solar System Scope app on students- curiosity. The method used is a weak experiment. The one group pre-test post-test is used in this research as a research design. Participants were 31 7th grade students in one of Secondary School in Bandung, Indonesia. The result of students- curiosity after implement discovery learning supported by Solar System Scope app enhanced with N-Gain 0.38 which categorized as medium. The treatment also shows the highest improvement in science and embrace aspects with N-Gain 0.39 which categorized as medium. Meanwhile, the lowest improvement of students- curiosity is stretch aspect with N-Gain 0.32 which categorized as medium. Based on the results showed that discovery learning supported by Solar System Scope app can be an alternative learning tool to enhance students- curiosity.

Abstract
Chemistry deals with lots of concepts ranging from simple to more complex as well as concrete to abstract. Understanding of chemistry is needed mainly by pre-service science teachers. The purpose of this study was to investigate the understanding of preservice science teachers about chemical multiple representations at macroscopic, symbolic, and sub-microscopic levels. This study involved twenty-seven preservice science and data were collected using chemical multiple representations table. Results indicated that most of pre-service science teachers could not describe the substances when it is dissolved in water at macroscopic, symbolic, and sub-microscopic levels. A few of pre-service science teachers couldnt write correctly the symbolic level of potassium chloride. All of them couldn-t write correctly the ionization reaction of acetic acid and also describe the molecular view of acetic acid solution. Generally, they had some difficulties in investigating macroscopic, symbolic, and sub-microscopic levels nor integrating these levels with the contents.

Abstract
Abstract This study aims to predict science teachers- familiarity on high order thinking skills (hot). As many as 44 members of science teacher community in a district in East Java volunteered to participate in this study. Data were collected using some common keywords in science learning in the form of multiple choice test and questioner, and analyzed descriptively using content analysis. The results showed that: 1) more than half of teachers are not familiar with hot, although they have often heard the terms, 2) conceptually, less than 50% of teachers are familiar with the type of hot skills, but are quite familiar with its application in learning, and 3) teachers are quite familiar with terms related hot in classroom, but are still have difficulty explaining the learning that stimulates hot among student. To train student to think hot, it is not sufficient to just be familiar with the term but must understand and able to operate it sustainably and consistently.

Abstract
Ocean literacy is an understanding of the ocean and its influences. As a maritime nation and the worlds largest archipelago country, the education systems in Indonesia should contain ocean literacy. Based on scientific publication indexes such as Google Scholar and Scopus, there is no known research on ocean literacy in Indonesia. This study tries to translate the International Ocean Literacy Survey v4 into Bahasa Indonesia and validate its content to ocean scientist. A trial was conducted on first-year college students with a science major at the high school level. Preliminary results indicate that most of them have difficulty answering ocean literacy questions.

Abstract
Many teachers have applied cooperative learning in class to achieve learning competencies. This study aims to develop SSP in cooperative learning with the REACT strategy (React (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperative, Transferring) to physics in tenth-grade student. The experts gave qualitative judgment to verify the SSP before teacher used it to arrange the learning environment in the classroom. The research design used in this implementation to find out the learning effects was a pretest-posttest controlled group design. The learning competencies measured were on the ability of analysis and synthesis using five essay questions. Scoring used a weighted score for each step in solving the essay problem. The statistical analysis is ANOVA to compare the two groups. The results indicate that learning with REACT strategies had a better impact than conventional learning. The completeness of learning tools is one of the essential factors to achieve competency in learning cooperative learning.

Abstract
Indonesia-s Education, must admit, student-s learning achievement is one of the crucial aspect need to be improve and develope through the learning process now a day, the fact that meaningful learning process is the key of the situation (Arianto & Rubini, 2016; Bilgin & Karaduman, 2005; Rustaman, 2003). Furthermore, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) can be infuse into the curriculum through three different strategies, which are, ESD on Curriculum or ESD provide context for the teaching and learning process, ESD in Curriculum or ESD become a part of the subject content and context, and Curriculum of ESD or ESD as a subject it selves (Wijaya, 2018). Therefore, the research aims are to describe and analize the implementation of ESD on Curriculum in Junior and Senior High School effects toward the pupil-s cognitive achievement and sustainability awareness, and also the prospective teacher student-s perception. Utilize the mixed method research, this study probe 156 junior and senior high school pupil-s from five different school and five prospective teacher student-s achievement and perception through the science teaching and learning activities. There are three different result point of view, the pupil-s cognitive achievement, the pupil-s sustainability awareness, and the student-s perception on preparing and implementaing infusing ESD on the curriculum. The first result revealed that overall student-s cognitive achivement profile improved significantly after the implementation of ESD on science curriculum in junior and senior high school level. Secondly, student-s sustainability awareness profile on the implementation of ESD on science curriculum with the dominant of hands-on teaching and learning activities achived the highest level of awareness for all of the aspects while the less dominant of hands-on teaching and learning activities only achived the highest level of awareness on emotional and behavioral aspects. Thirdly, the perception of undergraduate student-s toward their ESD on science curriculum implementation in junior and senior high school level, in general, student-s perception are on the Organization stage and the Interpretation stage which mean developed well through the implementation process.

Abstract
The need of improving student creativity ties in with efforts teachers need to implement in science learning. Thus, Research Skill Development (RSD) framework with analogy method was applied in this study, aiming to improve student creativity skills by prompting students to constantly create analogies in science learning. RSD framework was introduced for the purpose of articulating and scaffolding student skills, creativity is one of them. In this project, an RSD-structured analogy method was implemented as an initiative to enhance creativity skills of students in Indonesian context. The participants in this study were 30 Junior High School students studying science. The results provoked discussion on the ways that RSD-structured analogy method effectively improved student creativity skills, based on the improvement of student creativity skills measured by attitude scales consist of 5 creativity skill indicators.

Abstract
Communication is essential for scientific learning, yet academics and casual staff struggle to develop student communication skills in effective ways. Therefore, the integration of a Research Skill Development (RSD) framework with Flashcard Quiz method in an Indonesian Junior High School science course is examined in this study, with a focus on improving student communication skills. Action research was conducted in one class, to provide a rich and detailed understanding of the factors involved in this integration. Data from field notes, written responses, teacher records and teaching materials were collected. The results manifest the improvement of student communication skills, measured by attitude scales consist of 10 communication skill indicators. Recommendations made for future implementation of this project include the need of more credible learning sources and interactive science practices. The teacher perceived that the projects- applications may empower other teachers to use the RSD-integrated Flashcard Quiz method.

Abstract
This study aims to develop Student Science Worksheets that are Science Process Skills oriented. One of the criteria that the developed Science Worksheet is feasible for use is in terms of practicality. The practicality of the worksheet is captured with the Student Response Questionnaire instrument. Respondents in this study were 55 Junior High School students, consisting: 29 students of Al-Falah Junior High School Surabaya and 26 students of Al-Falah Junior High School Sidoarjo. The results showed that the developed worksheets could be used well by Junior High School students. In addition, the majority of students (96.16%) stated that the use of Science Worksheets the Science Process Skills oriented could make learning activities interesting and enjoyable.

Abstract
Indonesia is situated in geologically unstable area called the Pacific Ring of Fire which faces the risk of powerful earthquakes with potentially devastating effects. The most effective measure to be taken against earthquake and other natural disasters are knowing what to do when it happens. This issue intended the researcher to build a mobile learning application for earthquake mitigation using game-engine software called Unity 2D. Generally, the process of developing the mobile learning application consist of several steps: (1) preparation stage which consist of problem identification and formulating objectives, literature review, and constructing the instrument; (2) development stage also consist of several stages which are making the flowchart, storyboard, software necessity analysis, hardware necessity analysis, and coding. The method that used in this research was descriptive. The subject was 30 students of Laboratorium Junior High School in Bandung and one science teacher. The experts on content, language and artwork were evaluated the mobile learning application. The result of the experts- judgment content scored 83.33%, 87.5% on language content and reached 93.75% on artwork (IT) aspect. The overall result of mobile learning application for earthquake mitigation is adequately received a good evaluation from every aspect.

Abstract
The research is the first research that opens up our Universe from a mobile application called Solar Walk Ads+: Explore Space to improve students- understanding and believe in learning Solar System. Assisting the students in understanding the situation of the Solar System to make the abstract fact clearer and increase the students- believe in performing task. The work has begun to collect the data of students- post-test and pre-test using quasi-experiment design participated by 12 students in 7th grade of a private school in Bandung, West Java. After the data was collected by the implementation of Solar Walk Ads+: Explore Space application with the instruments such as observation sheets, worksheets, questionnaire, and objective test, the data analysed based on three different concepts, the higher improvement shows in the concept of the Solar System-s effect on the phenomenon on the Earth. Meanwhile, the students- believe effect after learning with this application resulted in the better improvement shown for the lower achiever students rather than the higher achiever students. Finally, this research recommends to held research that finds out whether the improvement is better if learning Solar System using Solar Walk Ads +: Explore Space also motivates students to learn.

Abstract
Early childhood education in schools must be able to stimulate the development of communication skills as one of the most important aspects of development. Based on the results of preliminary observations, it was identified that learning proces in early childhood education is still dominated by the individual and paper based strategy so that the development of childrens communication is low. To optimize childrens communication skills, STEAM-PBL is applied which in its stages provides more opportunities for children to express ideas verbally. STEAM-PBL was carried out in three series with a total of 12 meetings involving 14 children aged 4-5 years and observed using an observation sheet containing a number of indicators related to communication skills. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics supported by narrative explanations. The results showed that childrens communication skills developed very well until the end of learning.

Abstract
This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Stellarium as an Interactive Multimedia to students understanding and motivation in learning solar system. This study used quasi experimental design. The sampling used was convenience sampling. The research was conduct in one of private school in Bandung which number of students is 41. The Stellarium used is windows based 0.15.1 version. The Objective Test Item and Questionnaire were used as research instrument. These instruments were given to experimental and control class as pretest and posttest. According to the analyses result, the value of Normalized gain in experimental class and control class is 0.33 and 0.2. According Independent sample test result the hypothesis in this research was accepted. The value of sig (2-tailed) is 0.019 with significance value is 0.05. Thus, the result of this research are: There is different of students- understanding using stellarium in learning solar system; The students- motivation in learning solar system using stellarium is categorized as adequately motivated.
