Abstract
This article presents a profile of students statistical reasoning ability on the topic of inference statistics based on their academic characters. Data was collected from active students of pre-service mathematics students in the even semester of 2018/2019 that consisted of two learning classes. Based on the similarity of the statistics pretest result, one class was determined randomly as the experimental group and the other class as the control group. Statistical reasoning ability (SRA) and prior knowledge of statistics (PKS) were measured by test instruments. Student characters data were collected through a closed questionnaire. Each students academic character was explained by the association with nine PKS indicators. Based on the age, students were aged from 19 - 21 year and consisted of 29% of male and 71% of female. The PKS profile based on gender showed that female students tend to have higher SRA achievement for each indicator than male students. Students in the experimental group with more frequent learning intensity and longer learning periods tended to show better achievement of PKS compared to students in the control group. Students with low and high PKS levels indicated that the students- SRA achievement in the experimental group tended to be better than students- SRA achievement in the control group while the moderate level was not.

Abstract
Low mathematical representation skill causes the inability of vocational students solving problems creatively as demanded by industries. Previous researches showed that blended problem-based learning (BL-PBL), which combines online and offline learning to train students to independently solve problems, was proven to increase mathematical skills in several education levels. Therefore, this research is aimed to evaluate BL-PBL effect to mathematical representation skill escalation in vocational high school. Quantitative study with pre-test and post-test control group design was performed to two randomly-chosen classes over vocational schools in Kabupaten Bandung Barat, West Java, Indonesia. Samples were divided into two groups: experimental (BL-PBL method) and control (lecture method). Initial skill was determined by pre-test while learning outcome was determined using post-test. Data was analyzed by t-test and two-way ANOVA with 0.05 significance level using IBM SPSS. Result showed the initial skill of two groups was similar. After treatment, N-gain data uncovered a significant increase of representative skill in experimental group. While, two-way ANOVA test showed no interaction between learning model used and student grouping based on initial skill to representation skill. Finally, BL-PBL was proven to increase mathematical representation skill in vocational students and, hence, is suggested to be implemented in vocational high school.

Abstract
The self determination theory is the ability that allows an individual to choose and have several choices to determine an action. The problems experienced by the students related to SDT are the decreasing motivation of students to develop themselves, students are unable to be responsible and not sensitive to the feelings of others. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in SDT achievement of MPK student self determination theory (high, medium and low). This research method was quasi experiment with Post-test Only Control Design. Subjects in the study were 124 students. The learning process was carried out through Merrills First Principles of Instruction and ordinary learning. The results shows that the average achievement of high, medium and low MPK on the self determination skill theory of students who received MFPI learning are better than those who received regular learning. In SDT indicator, autonomy and students relatedness who have high MPK are superior in comparison to medium and low MPK. The low MPK category is better on competence indicators compared to high MPK and medium MPK. MFPI learning should be an alternative learning for teachers in mathematics because in addition to improving student cognitive abilities.

Abstract
Real options are one of the most fascinating research topics in Finance today, since 1977 Stewart C. Myers from the MIT Sloan School of Management published his pioneering article on this subject in the Journal of Financial Economics. Real options are techniques for support capital budgeting decisions which adapting the techniques developed for financial security options. The purpose of using this real option is to capture options contained in projects that cannot be captured by discounted cash flow models that operate as a basic framework for almost all financial analyzes. The real option valuation process will be complemented by interest rate stochastic modeling and volatility stochastic modeling to further capture flexibility and volatility from the existing economic and financial situation. The valuation will be using Monte Carlo simulation with Matlab programming language on crude oil data from the North Sea oil field. The data is obtained from Charlie Grafström and Leo Lundquists thesis with the title "Real Options Valuation vs. DCF Evaluation - An application to a North Sea oilfield ".

Abstract
Students thinking ability is one of the keys to achieving skills and learning objectives in mathematics. One of the thinking skills that supports these skills is reflective thinking. Reflective thinking is active thinking, continuous, persistent, and carefully considering everything that is believed to be true by reason that supports it and leads to a conclusion. To find out how the reflective thinking skills of students need to be an activity that is solving mathematical problems, where in the process not only involves reflective thinking processes but also requires hard work and toughness (adversity quotient) to overcome difficulties in solving mathematical problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe how the ability of reflective thinking of camper category students in solving problems of two-dimentional figure. The results showed that the reflective thinking ability of the camper category students was at the reflective level because in the process of thinking it was able to go through the phase of reacting, comparing and contemplating.

Abstract
Moore-s Method is a form of inquiry-based learning. R.L. Moore is a legendary figure behind this method, who started this method in an extreme way at the Mathematics Department, University of Texas in 1920-s. Despite the controversies it instilled, the method, or some milder versions of the method remain popular as a constructivist way to learn deep mathematics through inquiry-based learning. We report an implementation of Moore-s Method to a small group of students in learning new topics for their theses in two semester terms. The topic of the discussions was Spectral Properties of Quantum Graphs. By the nature of the method we tried to limit the use of textbooks or research articles for reference; almost everything that was needed for construction was produced independently within the discussions. Due to various background level they had already possessed in the beginning, the group started rather slowly. As they started to grasp better on the subject, the discussion pick up some pace, and the role of instructor started to diminish, to a mere facilitator. At the end of the second semester the group had gained significant confidence, proved a few results in some uncharted or less charted territory of Quantum Graph. The trial implementation of Moore-s method was deemed a success, as we gain some insight into the mechanics of the method: applicability and limitation, group size, topics covered, group interaction, assessment and indicators of success. Abstract
Visualization ability (spatial ability) is needed in understanding integral calculus. This article discusses changes in the spatial ability of a student in drawing graphs of functions to determine the volume of the solid of revolution after obtaining treatment. The treatment is in the form of questions that encourage the subject to be able to draw the graph correctly. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a single subject. The subject in this study was 6th semester student of mathematics education study program at one of the private universities in Yogyakarta. The selection of a subject from 44 students was done by giving a question about the volume of the solid of revolution. The subject is asked to drawing the volume of the solid of revolution graphic and determine its volume using integral. The selection of subjects by purposive random sampling based on the uniqueness of the answers to the problems given and good communication skills. This study aims to describe changes in the spatial ability of subject in drawing the volume of the solid of revolution graphic after getting treatment. Before getting treatment, a subject is still not right in drawing volume of the solid of revolution graphic. After getting treatment, there is a gradual change in spatial ability. The results of the study show that giving treatment can help increase a student-s spatial ability gradually.

Abstract
Statistical reasoning is a major requirement in the era of big data. Therefore, there is a need to conduct a research about this statistical reasoning. One important study in statistical reasoning is the levels of statistical reasoning. The levels of statistical reasoning are based on the construction of a conceptual framework. This research aimed to describe seven levels of students- statistical reasoning in predicting data. The subjects of this research were 40 students of second semester taken from two different classes. This was conducted in order to fulfill all levels of reasoning. At first, the subjects were given a test, and then 7 students were selected to be interviewed related to the levels of statistical reasoning respectively. Data triangulation was done to maintain the validity and reliability of the data generated. There are seven levels of statistical reasoning in predicting data, namely, the levels of pre-idiosyncratic, idiosyncratic, verbal, transitional 1, procedural, transitional 2, and integrated processes. These seven levels can be used as a consideration in compiling assessment rubrics in statistical material. The assessment should not only focus on students skill in calculating and ability in problem solving but also emphasize on the aspect of reasoning.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to understand about student-s cognitive process in the solving test based on HOTS in the Mathematics subjects. Test is consisted five items. Difficulty level of item is distributed from the easy until difficult. The research was done for students in SMAN 1 Kediri, class of XII IPA. The result of research shows that the student-s cognitive process in HOTS is low level. The student could not finish the item test well. The half of student could finish one from five item. The none of student could finished the four item rest well. The reasons are (1) the student did not understand the test item well, (2) the students could not transform test items to picture format and Mathematics formula, (3) the students forget mathematics formula and its procedures (4) the students never did the test items such as that items. The process of finishing items shows that the student cannot relate some concept to the other concept well. Students could not analyse and create finishing procedure of items well, which involved student-s cognitive process such as Bloom-s Taxonomy.

Abstract
The selection of the right learning model can improve student achievement. This study aims to determine the effect of using Quantum Teaching learning models on students comprehension abilities. The research sample was 7th-semester students who took elementary mathematics learning courses in the Tangerang district study group randomly selected as many as two classes, the first class as the experimental class, namely the class with the Quantum Teaching learning model and the second class as the Control class, namely the classroom with conventional learning. The instruments used were 1) pretest-posttest, and 2) observation sheet. Data is processed with SPSS. The result is a class with a Quantum Teaching learning model that shows better understanding skills than the control class, sig-value (2-tailed) (0.016) <α=(0.025), ie there is a difference in comprehension ability between classes with Quantum Teaching learning models with ordinary learning classes , from the table of statistical groups it is known that the mean value of the class with the Quantum Teaching learning model (85.0) is greater than the average class average (62.0), and the average N-gain class value with the Quantum Teaching learning model has a high increase (0.81), while the ordinary N-gain class has a moderate increase (0.5), so the Quantum Teaching learning model can improve students comprehension abilities, and students appear to be more confident because in this learning model there are many interactions that maximize the learning process.

Abstract
The strategies used in solving problems can be influenced by cognitive style. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical critical thinking skills of junior high school students based on the cognitive style of Dependent Field (FD) and cognitive style Field Independent (FI) in solving SPLDV problems. The subject of this study consisted of 1 student who had the FD cognitive style and 1 student who had the FI cognitive style chosen by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by administering the cognitive style test of the Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) Group, mathematical problem solving tests, interview guidelines, and documentation. Data were analyzed based on FRISCO critical thinking category indicators (Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity, and Overview) in each step of problem solving, namely understanding problems, arranging plans, implementing plans, and checking again. Data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students who had the cognitive style of FD and students who had the cognitive style FI had good critical thinking skills in each step of problem solving according to Polya.
