Abstract
Abstract. This research aims to estimate the emission of CH4 gas from the utilization of biogas technology as a source of alternative fuels and biogas has an influence on the economic condition of the society of Ploso Ngamban Village, Kendal, Ngawi East Java who has been utilizing biogas. Ploso Ngamban Village, Kendal, Ngawi East Java is one of the villages with the most populations as cattle ranchers and has been utilizing cow dung as a biogas. In cow dung, there is a CH4 gas that contributes 3% of the total greenhouse gas emissions. There are 32 cows that have been utilized to 18 units of biogas, if used maximally, it is able to reduce the emission of CH4 gas by 1,952 kg or it helps to reduce the CO2e gas emissions by 48,800 kg/year of emissions for the district of Kendal, Ngawi East Java. So if the use of cow dung into biogas is done to the fullest, it will get the efficiency of lowering the cost of CO2e gas emissions processing in Ploso Ngamban Village, Kendal, Ngawi East Java by Rp 23.424.000/year. Calculation method is based on the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions, using the formula quoted from the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia, namely GHG emissions = Ai x EFi.

Abstract
Estimating Willingness-to-Pay Values to Improve the Quality and Reliability of Clean Water in Surabaya Households Nur Aini Hidayati1 1Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Ph.D Student and Airlangga University Lecturer, email: nuraini.hidayati@gmail.com Clean water plays an important role in every activity of mankind—in household, commercial, industrial, as well as public and social sectors. As the second biggest city after Jakarta, Surabaya faces a fundamental issue of basic needs, which is the poor quality of clean water for domestic use. Polluted water due to contaminations has been a daily issue in Surabaya. Surabaya has a per capita income of some USD4000. Given this circumstance, Surabaya citizens should be able to pay the basic household needs at any reasonable cost. The research question is to what extent the local water company (State Company for Water Utilities – PDAM) can provide affordable clean water for the Surabaya citizens. Therefore, the aim of this research is to estimate the economic value of clean water accrued to households in Surabaya city, the capital of East Java Province in Indonesia. The economic valuation was carried out by determining households- willingness to pay for improved water quality and reliability of supply through the Contingent Valuation technique. The valuation is limited to urban households in this context is PDAM subscriber. This paper results the aggregate value of water quality and reliability improvements have been substantial such that it warrants PDAM to improve the quality of pertinent services. However, such provision will be contingent on a further cost-benefit valuation based on its affordability of supply relative to demand. In terms of policy implications, the study strongly suggests the service provider to improve both the quality and reliability of the clean water. In particular PDAM should increase the access to clean water, minimize health risk, and improve production efficiency to enable the affordable pricing of clean water to the Surabaya citizens. Abstract
This paper tests for the short and long-run relationship between economic growth, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and energy consumption, using the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) by employing both the aggregated and disaggregated energy consumption data in Indonesia. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) methodology approach was used to test the cointegration relationship; and the Granger causality test, based on the vector error correction model (VECM), to test for causality. The study does not support an inverted U-shaped relationship (EKC) when aggregated energy consumption data was used. When data was disaggregated based on different energy sources such as oil, coal, gas and electricity, the study does show evidences of the EKC hypothesis. The long-run Granger causality test shows that there is bi-directional causality between economic growth and CO2 emissions, with coal, gas, electricity and oil consumption. This suggests that decreasing energy consumption such as coal, gas, electricity and oil appears to be an effective way to control CO2 emissions but simultaneously will hinder economic growth. Thus, suitable policies related to the efficient consumption of energy resources and consumption of renewable sources are required.

The purpose of this study was to find out how the Muncar Sub district fishing community handled poverty throughout their lives. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using in-depth interviews conducted on 110 respondents from Fisher. The results of this study find out the main reason for being a fisherman because this work is derived from generation to generation, this is due to the low education of fishing families with a majority of income of 1-10 million per year. This amount is not a large number and makes this profession attractive to fight for, therefore the priority of primary needs is higher than secondary, awareness of the use of insurance is quite low, low post-harvest financial planning and difficult capital gains cause fishermen to obtain capital through debt and the majority of fishermen have loan. Abstract
We test whether the international crude oil markets are globalized (as proposed by Adelman, M.A. International oil agreements. The Energy Journal 1984; 5; 1-9) or regionalized (as advocated by Weiner, R. J. Is the world oil market one great pool? The Energy Journal 1991;12: 95–107). We put forth arguments in support of studying the crude oil prices at different time horizons to augment the regionalization-globalization debate. Unlike previous studies, our results indicate that both the hypothesis make sense, albeit, for different crude oil market pairs, time horizons and time periods.

Abstract
There are many Quranic verses revealed the environmental responsible. Those confirmed the ancient history recorded that human being creates the great civilization by building a green environment. It shows how to build green space and conserving forest, to keep an unpolluted air and water, and to make a healthy environment. This paper studied an Islamic approach of conservation management in empirical experiences of Pondok Pesantren (PP) in Special Region of Yogyakarta. PP al Qodir and PP al Imdad implement a Maqasid al-Syariah concept as main Islamic pillars with goals like keeping sustainability and the existence and continuity of human life. It means that Islam has serious concern over good environment and its impact on health and wellbeing. According to Islamic model of environmental responsible, the destructive behaviors cause a damage just toward a single part of the environment are as bad as those destruct all of it. Therefore, that responsibility as well as Quranic directions depicted within its verses is a duty for Muslim people.

Abstract
A movement to redeem unfriendly economics and business practices have been exercised in different part of the world in the light of tackling global climate change issue and turning such practices sustainable oriented. In finance, such initiative has been expanded in public financing practices whereby new products were introduces in line with sustainability focus. One of the highlighted sustainable driven product is environmentally-friendly public financing product. As one of the largest forestry and highly potential of renewable energy country, the involvement of Indonesia in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) could have significant impact in climate change resilient. On the stage of shifting paradigm into sustainability, the current authorized body is assessing diversified sharia-based financing in the Sustainable Finance Roadmap called Green Sukuk. Green Sukuk itself is a subset of Sukuk that finances green assets. In case of Indonesia, it is a potential instrument for financing targeted project on National Energy Plan which requires new renewable energy up to 23% in the national energy mix in upcoming 2025. In general, ethical-based product was induced with the expectation to be not only ethical, which is in this case being environmentally aware, but also being commercially viable and attractive. The latest 5 years oversubscribed experience of retail sukuk in Indonesia is also mainly emphasizing the potential market of sharia-based financial instruments. However, structuring green sukuk would also add more layers in screening criteria as consideration for the investors. This paper aims to identify and map the possibility of Green Sukuk issuance in Indonesia as well as examine potential individual investor-s perspective towards preference in investing in sukuk, what is happening, what are the contributing factors, and to propose the structure to address it. This also includes 109 upper-middle class respondents to properly address the market demand perspective.

Abstract
The city of Surabaya obtained the adipura trophy in Indonesia in 2019 because it has a very good performance on environmental management, especially waste. To handle the problem, the mayor made a program, one of which was the construction of a compost house in Bratang. Waste management in the Bratang Compost House has a proven positive externality from odor and the sound produced does not exceed the prescribed standards. Besides that, the existence of a compost house can help preserve the environment of Surabaya and become a source of local PLTSa (garbage power plant). This paper also proves that waste management in the Bratang Compost House is feasible to run as evidenced by NPV > 0 and BCR > 1. This research can be a reference for governments in other regions in managing waste to be something that is beneficial for the community, environment, and local government. This paper will be an additional literature for the government, the community, academics, and those who care about the environment about the impact of Islamic perspective waste management.

Abstract
Indonesia has faced many natural disasters after the great earthquake and tsunami hit Aceh in 2004. These disasters have affected men, as well as the women. However, the impact of disasters to women and elderly are worse than to men. Indonesia has policies and information kits for earthquake and tsunami preparedness, but it is still not well disseminated to the community, especially for women and elderly. This paper is focusing in increasing the knowledge of women and elderly in earthquake and tsunami preparedness in Indonesia, in order to reduce the numbers of its victims and death tolls. This is a literature review, based on the lessons learned from Japan. The study shows that optimizing the existing self-motivated group/ community organizations would be more effective in order to increase the tsunami and earthquake preparedness for women and elderly in Indonesia.

Abstract
This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of environmental management accounting on future performance with innovation as an intervening. Innovation is one strategy to produce a competitive advantage. With the competitive advantage achieved, corporate performance is expected to be increased. However, companies are expected to implement a strategy that not only emphasizes business continuity, but also can carry out its business process with the concept of sustainable development. Using 122 manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange, this study tests the hypotheses using path analysis. The paper provides empirical insights about how environmental management accounting does not affect future performance while innovation can mediate the effect of environmental management accounting on future performance.
