Abstract
Each year the study program carries out activities that have been planned through departmental meetings. However, study program activities that are not on target will result in less accreditation scores. Accreditation is a government effort to guarantee the quality of educational institutions. The value of accreditation determines the main assets in the field of education, the quality of study programs and the feasibility of graduates. Therefore, this study tries to provide a ranking formula for study program activities based on the assessment of study program accreditation forms. The system is built using one of type multi-criteria decision making (MCDM), namely the Preference Selection Index (PSI). PSI method using statistical concepts until preference index as a reference for alternative ranking This developed system can help the department to recommend the main activities that can be done to support the efforts of the study program in achieving optimal accreditation values. Finally, it was concluded that the PSI method is the right method for problems that require decision support with a large number of attributes, such as the criteria used in recommendations for study program activities that have been adapted to the study program accreditation form assessment matrix.

Abstract
Lignocellulose is an abundant organic component consists of three polymers namely cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin which it is the main sources of plant biomass. The lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose can degraded using Phanerochaete chrysosporium. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of fermentation time and bagasse addition to reduce the levels of lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose in fermentation process using Phanerochaete chrysosporium. This research was conducted by fermentation of bagasse which has been dried and reduced in size in the form of powder (30-60 mesh) using NLM (Nitrogen Limited Media). Changing variables in this study were fermentation time (17, 20, 23, 26, and 29 days), and concentration of bagasse addition (3,4 and 5%) from NLM. The product fermentation was filtered using a vacuum pump, the pulp was analyzed for levels of lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose by the Van Soest method. The results of the research showed that the longer fermentation time causing higher reduction levels of lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose. In the best operating conditions, the fermentation time was 29 days, and the bagasse addition of 3% obtained the largest decrease in lignin by 93,273%, cellulose 68.0366%, and hemicellulose 54.495%.

Abstract
Pico Hydro Power Plant (PHPP)is a hydroelectric power plant with a scale below 5 kW. This technology is suitable to be applied to areas that have many rivers with sloping slopes. The PHPP applied in this research utilized the river flow then flowing the water through a water way with a slope angle around 10 degrees. Due to this sloping angle, it is necessary to modify the turbine intake to produce a more rapid water flow so that the turbine can rotate faster. The modification is made by designing and making a spiral vortex hydro turbine, where the intake is designed to resemble a snail house or a whistle to produce a spiral whirlpool to drive a turbine. Then, the turbine will be coupled with a generator to produce electricity. The results show that the spiral vortex hydro turbine can produce faster turbine rotation, compared with a conventional water intake. The faster the turbine rotation, the higher the generator output voltage. In addition, the device is easy to move and maintain due to its portable design.

Abstract
One of the problem corresponds to the small dimension of an antenna is the bandwidth. In order to overcome the problem from small linear and multiple antenna array systems, the investigation of the antenna elements is needed. Design of planar antennas is to achieve an antenna that is able to match various demands in applications where size, cost, performance, and aerodynamic profiles are very important considerations, a low-profile antenna such as a small. The antenna performance on scattering parameters S11, gain, radiation pattern and impedance input are investigated at obtaining wideband antennas by adjusting antenna design parameters. The Substrate thickness needs to be adjusted to 0.813 mm and the element length from 2 mm to 0.05 mm. The calculation of return loss, gain, and the radiation pattern is presented using MoM-based WIPL-D. The antenna element when L2 is 2mm in the frequency range 4 GHz – 8 GHz which reaches a bandwidth of 23.4% and the resonance frequency less than the frequency of 5 GHz. When L2 changed to 0.05 the resonance frequency becomes 5 GHz and the bandwidth increased to 31.5%. Therefore, decreasing antenna element length(L2) affect the resonance frequency to the higher frequency and increase the bandwidth.

Abstract
The use of PABX between buildings existed in State Polytechnic of Malang consists of 3 types, which are produced by the same manufacturer. However, the three types of PABX have different characteristics and specifications from one another. Therefore, its merging is done by numbering method which must use prefix to be able to contact users in other PABX. Every PABX is always provided with an interface that aims to combine with different systems, so that adjustments can be made. To overcome this problem, by software-based central installation, namely IPPBX, so that if the change (migration process) occurs, a device called the internet telephone gateway can be installed. This device with one IP address can connect more than one analog telephone number. So far the product has 32 ports. This research uses ITG with 16 ports due to the connection characteristics of the same connector as the conventional PABX. This condition will be easily implemented and does not change the existing network system in State Polytechnic of Malang. The results of the design based on the number of connected services required a number of 32 devices ITG 16 ports plus 4 ports connection to the public services telephone network (PSTN)

Abstract
Local water supply company in Indonesia still uses analog water meter, hence the data recording of customer- water usage was carried out by officers manually. It is certainly an inefficient and risky method that could produce errors. Moreover, not all water meter data could be recorded at the time officers come to the location, for example in vacant houses, that could causing customers suffer the consequences such as fine for late payment. In this study, we proposed a new water meter reading system design which contains a conversion device that could convert analog water usage data into the digital one, installed in existing analog meter. The converted data would be transmitted to local concentrator using a 433 MHz wireless transceiver network and sent to the server that acts as monitoring center via cellular networks. The process of digitizing the water meter does not need to be done by replacing the existing analog water meters. Thus, the investment costs of the water meter digitalization process would be relatively cheaper and its could be a solution for increasing the recording efficiency and accuracy of customer-s water usage data.

Abstract
Malang City which is located at an altitude between 440 - 667 meters above sea level, and surrounded by mountains. Thus, the city of Malang has many springs and rivers with high speed flow. At present, river flow energy that used as hydroelectric power is very least. River flow hydroelectric power schemes are often presumed to be less ecologically damaging than large-scale storage hydroelectric power schemes, and then low priced materials, easy to use and easy to care for. Therefore, researchers have design of Portable Floating Pico-Hydro (PFPH). PFPH using a low speed DC generator (500rpm, 18VDC, 15A), controller, DC-DC converter and battery as a load. Voltage output of PFPH is set to have a constant output of 14 volts DC with PI control algorithm. Specifications of PFPH are turbine diameter is 500mm, turbine width is 500mm, overall length is 1200mm and overall width is 1200mm. PFPH tested at a water speed of 1.5 m/s - 4 m/s and generated power 10W-223W.

Abstract
Abstract the DC house house project is a pure DC electricity system to enable optimal use of renewable and alternative energy, DC House promotes a more sustainable solution by not using fossil based fuels. DC sources are mainly from renewable generation such as PV and wind turbines, the output from PV and Wind turbine produced is not stable, so there is a need for a regulatory system, arrangements can be made on the generation side and on the load side. Because the output of the generator is not constant, a setting on the load side is needed to adjust the generation capacity. If one of the offsets is to be released, a load shedding must be carried out to meet the load requirements. Release of load is carried out when the supply is reduced because one of the generators is off then the low priority load will be released automatically. In this study simulated DC loads using PID control on the buck converter and load release using switching four loads with priority scale. The DC current sensor is used to determine the amount of current when determining the load released due to limited supply from the source

Abstract
Quality and reliability in electric power systems can be measured by the best value of frequency, voltage, and number of disturbances. One of the problems of the electric power system is the frequency regulation because related to power generated and loading. Changing in load will contribute in changing of frequency then frequency settings are needed by controlling the generator rotation according to load fluctuations using LFC (Load Frequency Control). The Load frequency control prototype made to simulate a system that was almost the same as a power plant in the field but the capacity is lower, several experiments carried out namely open loop, close loop without PID and close loop with PID in load conditions monitored through SCADA. The results of several experiments were carried out and then analysed which were response of the stability of the frequency and speed. PID values obtained from the calculation of the Ziegler Nichols method, Auto Tuning and Try & Error. PID Ziegler Nichols method was used in close loop experiments with a value of Kp = 1 Kd = 0.115 Ki = 0.49. This method was able to improve the frequency of 49.42 Hz at 1 Nm load and 48.41 Hz at 3.5 Nm load. However, other experiments and methods at lower frequency at the same set point of 50 Hz , the transient stability using Ziegler Nichols method has a rise time greater than the other methods of 21.09 ms, the overshoot value in this method is relatively small, 0.492% and settling time 0.03 seconds. Then, the system response is stable before 0.14 seconds even though there is a steady state error of 0.004. Therefore, the load changes affect the stability response of the Ziegler Nichols method is faster than the other methods.

Abstract
The geographical position of Indonesia which has many small islands and many mountains, there are still many villages in Indonesia that have not received electricity provided by the National Electricity Company (PLN). People in these remote villages can indeed enjoy electricity with their efforts to buy diesel/premium/gas electric generators, etc., from non-renewable fuels that are expensive and difficult to obtain just to meet lighting needs at night. What needs to be further developed is a small-scale power plant for residential needs, with free energy prices and inexpensive generator prices. For that, we choose a wind power system that can be controlled electronically and the focus of our research is to be able to monitor the wind speed that causes the wind turbines to spin and the electricity that can be generated through an electric generator rotated by turbines. The resulting Wind and Electricity Speed can be monitored in real-time at a distance by using a Smart Cellular Phone with Wifi transmission which is currently affordable, besides that we can store this monitor data in a Database which can be displayed at any time in the form of a table or graph so that it can be studied to see the wind characteristics in the area and the characteristics of turbines, generators, and other systems. By using our Smartphone we can also perform Telecontrol of the braking function electrically, and release the burden of charging to the battery that functions as a storage of energy whenever needed.

Abstract
Fruits are one of the horticultural commodities that have high economic value and have the opportunity to be exported. Fruit products in Indonesia are generally consumed in the condition fresh fruit and verry little processed into processed food. Because fruits are seasonal and perishable after being harvested, the selling price of the product has decreased significantly during the harvest season. One alternative to increase save time and fruit utilization is by processing fruits into chips. Fruit chips are a healthy snack because contains high fiber . Processing of fruit chips can be done using ordinary frying with dyeing on cooking oil at atmospheric pressure (deep frying) or with a frying pan at low pressure (vacuum frying). The results of testing the salak chips frying using a vacuum frying machine with a capacity of 5 kg, obtained the following characteristics: before the chips are dipped in cooking oil, the temperature of the frying tube will rise slowly until it reaches the maximum temperature of frying 900 C but the temperature on the vacuum pipe will remain at room temperature of 270 C, after salak chips are dipped in cooking oil the temperature will decrease then it will rise to the maximum temperature of the frying pan is 900 C while the temperature of the vacuum pipe will increase until it reaches the maximum temperature of the frying pan is 900C but along with the longer frying time and the more depleted water content will be obtained value is 270 C and the salak chips ready in 90 minutes.

Abstract
Indonesia is a country with high biodiversity and social community. Differences in learning and student competencies in villages and cities also become a separate problem. With the natural and social conditions of each, students in rural and urban areas have different abilities, hence the need for peer learning to share knowledge. One of the solution to bridge this problem is by developing information systems that can be used by students in villages and cities. Through peer learning, it is expected to improve students knowledge and skills because the learning design is more natural. In this paper, my buddy school system is designed and developed to support self-regulated learning and peer learning course. We applied explicit evaluation using some questionnaires and interview of 20 students that have already used the developed system. Result shows that user experience score and student-s respond from interview session indicate that the system is good; therefore, an improvement is needed. For the future works, we proposed user-centered design method to gain greater score of user experience.

Abstract
The desire to focus on the companys core business processes has led many companies to outsource their logistics functions to Third Party Logistics (TPL). These conditions create the demand for logistics services so that the TPL business grows significantly. Service innovation from TPL plays an important role in the development of logistics business clusters because TPL is a new growth source from the regional and national economy. What factors drive TPL business to innovate has not been much studied in the logistics research literature. Few studies have addressed drivers of logistics service innovation. Lack of empirical research on the drivers of logistics service innovation in TPL business, so that this paper provides empirical studies on the factors that influence innovation in TPL business. This study aims to identify the factors that drive innovative logistics services from TPL business so that they can provide the basis for developing innovation in TPL. Content analysis of extant literature was conducted. This study found that a lot of knowledge about innovation drivers in TPL was identified in theoretical based, but many of these components were not implemented yet. This study shows that TPL will achieve successful operational performance if innovation is implemented with proper knowledge management so the TPL can achieve effective communication networks.

Abstract
Abstract. The rapid development of technology in the field of air transportation technology has made Drones a flying vehicle that has been developed to date. Drones have many uses, for example for hobbies, navigation tools, and transportation equipment. Drones were also developed to monitor environments that are difficult to reach by humans. The ability of manual control with limited distance is an obstacle. This research describes the Mission Definition System (MDS) designed to help in defining the mission of Drones easily and efficiently and to support the application of autonomous aviation. Under the direct supervision of the pilot line, the selection of Drone control will be possible if in an unsafe situation. After the user defines the mission, then it is forwarded to the Mission Calculation Engine, which is tasked with carrying out the proper calculations to obtain a compatible and predictable flight plan. A Flight Plan is a list of orders that the Drone must complete to fulfill the mission designed. Trial results and measurements of the degree of autonomic system accuracy have been carried out 10 times and experienced failed orders as much as possible due to natural factors during the trial. In terms of drone image mapping, it successfully detects objects with a success rate of 88% by mapping several target locations. To upload to the system with a success rate of around 82% due to inadequate telecommunication service factors at the testing location.

Abstract
The average national salt production is around 2.5 million tons per year has not been able to meet domestic salt demands. One of the factors that caused this was the low incentives received by farmers so that farmers were reluctant to carry out production in the following year. As the main actor in the national salt industry, farmer-s welfare needs to be considered to ensure the sustainability of national salt production. This study aims to develop a dynamic model of the salt supply chain by identifying internal and external factors that influence the system. We use system dynamic methods because this framework has the ability to model nonlinear equations among variables and can represent feedbacks loop relationships. From the basemodel simulation results, we developed several scenarios that we can use to improve the welfare of salt farmers and eventually increasing salt production in a sustainable manner. From those scenarios, we found that by using the scenario of land intensification with annual salt production technology, farmer-s profits could be increased up to Rp 25,839,900 per ha per season at the end of the simulation in 2031.

Abstract
Vertical Axis Wind Turbine is one of the most widely developed Renewable Energy. Many experiments and research are conducted to obtain maximum power efficiency. To get the maximum energy conversion efficiency required TSR (Tip Speed Ratio) is constant. To have the efficiency controller to change the Angle of Attack is required to maintain maximum efficiency at any wind speed. The method is applying controlled blades (aileron), the blades represent the value of Angle of Attack. In accordance with the changing of wind speed. In the VAWT Darrieus TSR reference value of 5, this value becomes the reference to obtain maximum efficiency against changes of wind speed. PID method is used to control the blades to form an Angle of Attack corresponding to the dynamic changes in wind speed. So that the VAWT speed is used as feedback into control. The shape of the blade affects the efficiency of the resulting spin, therefore the most efficient blade of the blades is the thin airfoil family in order to obtain the maximum flow of wind to rotate the generator. From the simulation done by using VAWT, it can be shown that the power efficiency obtained up to 32% in any wind speed.

Abstract
Soil stabilization is a process of mixing soil with particular materials to restore engineering properties of soil which is an attempt to change or fix the engineering properties of soil in fulfilling particular technical requirement. The examination result of soil as a subgrade coating conducted in this study is classified as expansive soil. Unfixed subgrade condition may cause various damages on road pavement. Thus, in this study, subgrade repairment was administered by utilizing stabilization method of a mixture palm shell ash (PSA) and phosphoric acid chemical solution. The experiment aims to decrease dependency of cement as stabilization material in regular usage, in order to save cost in economic aspect of infrastructure. This study intends to analyze the effect of palm shell ash and phosphoric acid addition towards CBR value as subgrade construction layer of road pavement. The study outcomes shows several conclusions: (1) the decreasing value of optimal water content, plastic index, and swelling; (2) the increasing value of unsoaked CBR, soaked CBR, and isolated CBR. (3) the stabilization material mixture has been achieved, therefore it can be used as subgrade repairmen on expansive soils for minimum standard of subgrade coating for road pavement.

Abstract
Bacteria cellulose (BC) derived from Acetobacter xylinum strain possess several advantages such as elevated water holding capacity, high porosity and excellent mechanical strength. BC is useful to replace vegetal plant and applied into various industrial field such as papermaking, packaging and textile. In this study, BC membranes were produced from coconut water based consists of 8.0% sugar, 0.5% ammonium sulphate and 1.0% acetic acid at pH 4.5, followed with the addition of 10.0% inoculum before subjected to static incubation for 7 days. This study evaluated the changes of BC membrane properties using different concentration of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) under room temperature within 24 hours. The morphological, physical, chemical structure and water vapour permeability (WVP) of BC were analysed using FESEM, XRD, FTIR and WVP analysis, respectively. Results show that BC is mainly consist of cellulose I_α with high crystallinity and smaller crystallite sizes. The differences in NaOH concentrations varied the fibrils diameter of cellulose, in accordance to FESEM images. The use of higher concentration of NaOH (≥ 2.0%) gave a smooth cellulose structure with less porosity, thus reducing the WVP properties of BC.
