Abstract

Abstract
Modernization and heterogeneity of language speaker become an indicator in making language shifting especially in local language as identity in one region. This research aims at analyzing language maintenance by young speaker of Dawan language using region, the local call themselves Atoin Meto. Data was taken by using direct observation and structured interview of sixty dryland farming lexicons to Dawanese young speakers who live in Kefamenanu and Soe. Data analysis showed that most of subjects especially in Kefamenanu used in this research have no idea about lexicons in dryland farming firstly related to lexicons about plantation and wood ecosystem. The responds are vary, which is because of less reference related to them and also most of them used Indonesian and even Kupang in their daily. Moreover, it becomes logic because Kefamenanu as the capital city of Timor Tengah Utara regency becomes the center of construction where most of plantation and farming area were destructed for making living or housing area. It affected the loss of ecosystem both plantation and farming which also affect the loss of source can be identified by young generation. Furthermore, lexicons related to both ecosystem became unfamiliar due to the loss of reference. Based on that phenomena, it can be concluded that the destruction of an ecosystem gave significant effect to the language maintenance in certain region, and it should get more attention.

Abstract
Language teaching and learning have been constantly adapting various technologies in the classrooms. Blackboard, whiteboard, printed materials, electronic gadgets, analog media, network-based platforms and digital formats are all forms of technologies that are seen in the classrooms for the past and present decades. Yet they are only enabling tools that could enhance the process of teaching and learning. It is the creativity of the language teachers to innovate the pedagogy of language teaching and learning that would help to sustain the dynamism of meaningful education. In 4th Industrial Revolution (4iR), language teaching and learning should move forward integrating digital technologies in the classrooms. A floating class, with appropriate pedagogical principles and technology integration, can address several issues on blended learning, flipped learning, active learning and life-long learning in addition to green technology that is required in 4iR period

Abstract
Each language has its own uniqueness. English is unique as compared with Bahasa Indonesia which has no tense system. These languages can be used to academically convey meanings. The position of English in Indonesia is at the expanding circle (Kirkpatrick, 2007), that is communicated as a foreign language. From the viewpoint of teaching and learning, the position of Indonesia is of the advantage. The uniqueness of Bahasa Indonesia makes the Indonesians learning English get much exposure to the target language, that is English. The teacher should be able to make the learners do a lot of practice in using English since they mostly speak their vernacular or their national language outside the classrooms (Wiyono: 2017). The learner-centered teaching process is supposed to be able to solve the above problem because there is a lot of opportunity for a teacher to let the learners be exposed to the language they are learning. This means that the learners get a lot of practice and actively participate in the teaching learning process. This is in line with Nunan (1998: 2) who states that the difference between the teacher-centered and leaner- centered teaching is that the latter makes learners be involved in the content related to the curriculum. The teacher is not the only source. He is a facilitator and is only one of the sources. (Suparno: 2005)

Abstract
ABSTRACT Linguistic Landscape has been widely used to capture not only linguistic situations but also sociocultural dynamic of society or even a nation. In relation to this, observation on Linguistic Landscape reveals the diversity of local richness, i.e. socio-cultural references, and the local authenticity. This later notion is crucial to establishment of social conceptualization for the English learners. As it contains the rich concepts including the metaphorical extension as is expressed in the commercial signages. This contributes much on the students- creativity in vocabulary building including the students- sensitivity, especially on socio- pragmatic aspect of language use which so far has been widely neglected in ELT. This may break the deadlock of ELT-s stagnancy due to its too much focus on the formal and literal aspect of English. This is certainly relevant with the spirit of curriculum 13 (K 13) on the importance of students- language creativity. This paper is expected to elaborate the dynamic use of authentic materials derived from Linguistic Landscape in relation to the teaching of English by focusing, such as the information structure, the sociocultural references, and the local material authenticity which eventually is expected to strengthen learners- identity.

Abstract
In 1978 at Taniwel, North Horror (Maluku) was still available for Nakaela speakers. According to sources, the former Nakaela language community is located between the Iha community on the beach and the Alune community on the mountain. The colonial writers seem to ignore or do not know the existence of this language. By omitting the Nakaela language, you may have lost the opportunity to document it thoroughly. In the study 40 years ago, only about 500-600 words were recorded and several paradigms of reflection were collected. However, at that time it was estimated that only 2 or 3 people could speak Naka-ela. The Nakaela language is quite amazing. For example, there are still five different verbal conjugates. It also tracks the system of verbal verbs with subjects appearing as suffixes at the end of their verbs, such as [my words] I laugh or [my words] You are laughing and so on. Complex languages that are different from nearby languages may now be extinct without proper documentation. In fact, there is a writer (Mukhamdanah 2015) who ignores the uniqueness of this language and considers it only a dialect of a language spoken on another island 600 km away from the location on Seram Island! In this paper, you will find a little information about Nakaela language and a description of the sociolinguistic situation and the setting of the data. What can we learn from these reflections on the beauty and loss of these extinct Naka-ela languages? What steps should we take to preserve another language now in danger?

Data of kabhanti were taken from the people who had adequate experiences in performing kabhanti. The achieved data were analyzed by applying a contrastive analysis technique. Through the analysis, the accentric use of language in the lyrics of kabhanti by breaking the language rules made the lyrics were more aesthetic than the conventional one.

The method used in this paper is a descriptive qualitative, which aims at analyzing and collecting data from some referential books, website, and other data sources that were useful for the analysis. The object of this study is the plot and the style in F. Scott Fitzgerald-s The Great Gatsby. The source is in the form of novel that was taken from The Penguin Book: The Great Gatsby, by F.Scott Fitzgerald. Library research is also used to gather and analyze information of the text. Abstract
Indonesia as a multicultural country consists of various tribes, races, religions, languages, customs, regions and various other differences. This diversity provides strengths as well as weaknesses, attractiveness as well as repulsion. Multiculturalism will be a reinforcer and attraction if a nation state manages to manage that difference. Conversely multiculturalism will be a weakness for a nation state, if diversity is mixed with political loyalty (election). This economy is illustrated very strongly in political competition in post-reform Indonesia, the elections that took place in the reform era were increasingly characterized by the priority of native sons, the exclusion of immigrants, religious and ethnic minorities. In the 2019 Presidential Election, political primordialism became a selling point for politicians to win the battle that almost broke the unity defense of Indonesia which was declared by Indonesian youth on October 28, 1928. In a nation state, strengthening primordialism in politics in addition to distorting democratic principles would also be a threat to the integrity of Indonesia nation state.

Abstract
Graphic books are designed to increase reader interest through the illustrations created, especially the children reader. Therefore, graphic books are considered effective for promoting moral messages for them. One of the messages is about gender equality. It is found in three Egyptian graphic books that the narrative contains gender equality. This is represented through the character of a girl who is against the injustice she received in her neighborhood. This becomes a dilemma because children, on one hand, have their own normative world, but on the other hand they are faced with social challenges in the form of gender inequality. This qualitative research analyzes the construction of gender inequality and how moral messages related to it are presented in normative forms. The results show that the graphic books present various forms of normative gender equality which are promoted by children and how adult ideology is forced into the way these values are promoted.

Abstract
The disparities in health services are generally due to lack of communication, cooperation, and coordination on roles and responsibilities among health professionals. This situation caused the health services less qualified. Interprofessional skill does not emerge by itself, therefore an interprofessional learning is needed for students since they are in the initial education. In the transition phase before IPE was structured into the curriculum, the implementation of IPE learning was carried out through a debriefing pilot project prior to the implementation of Interprofessional PKL (Field Work Practice). The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in means value between readiness to learn and IPE knowledge among undergraduate students of Applied Bachelor Study Program of Health Polytechnic Tanjungkarang. The debriefing was administered for two days and participated by five Applied Bachelor Study Programs. The research design applied Quasi-experimental with IPE learning intervention with a problem-based learning (PBL) approach and simulation/role play. The sample of 147 participants was divided into 20 groups using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out using the Readiness Interprofessional Score (RIPLS) questionnaires and the questionnaires on knowledge. The data analysis was done using Mean, Standard Deviation (SD) and Paired T-Test. The results of the research showed that the initial mean value of IPE- readiness to learn before intervention was 59.40, while after intervention was 62.13 and there was a significant difference in the mean value of IPE- readiness to learn (p = 0.006). The mean value of IPE knowledge before and after the intervention was 51.19 and 74.54 and there was a significant difference in the mean value of knowledge (p = 0.011). The study program suggests to revise the curriculum so that IPE learning is carried out in a structured manner with appropriate learning methods and evaluations.

Abstract
Western Europe nations, and especially France, have erased most of their regional languages in the past two centuries, in an effort to improve national unity. Fortunately, Indonesia did not make the same mistake; the national language, Indonesian, ensures the cohesion of the nation, and the 668 regional languages do not represent any danger for the unity of the Republic of Indonesia. Local regional languages of Indonesia, with fewer than 1,000 speakers are obviously in danger of extinction in Indonesia as elsewhere in the world. But, in the long run, Indonesias "big" regional languages are also threatened, due to the urbanization and mixing of the population. In schematization, the strongest regional languages in Indonesia have less than one million speakers, and more than 100,000.
