Potential Effects on Mathematics Learning in Junior High School: Reading Text for Learning Stage of School Literacy Movement

Abstract
This article discusses the results of the development research in the field test phase of reading text for School Literacy Movement in mathematics learning. This research is a development research with design research method using development studies type. The evaluation flow at the prototyping stage uses the formative study flow with the self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, and field test stages. The research subject was 7th grade students at a junior high school in Karawang. The data was collected by documentation, questionnaires, tests and interviews. The results of the calculation of size effects indicate an effect of 2,895 with high interpretation. Conclusions obtained from the results of product data analysis in the form of reading text for School Literacy Movements in the learning phase that have potential effect for students in mathematics learning.
