Abstract
Agriculture is the livelihood of the Javanese people in general. From farming to serving food at the dinner table, everything is done with a high science process. This study identifies daily work that can be used as a source of learning for middle school students. This research is ethnographic qualitative research. This research was conducted in Central Java, especially in Solo Raya. The results of this study indicate that the ability to control variables through simple experiments has been carried out. The results of the experimental data are not systematically arranged, but only use memory. Not all western science process skills develop in the Javanese community. Adaptation in science learning needs to be done so that there is a match between Javanese science process skills and western science process skills.
