Abstract

The industrial revolution era 4.0 demands changes in all aspects. Therefore, human resources are prepared to have the skills needed in the 21st century, including 4C (critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration). However, all these skills are meaningless if not accompanied by good characters. Planting these characters requires additional learning, as well as appropriate learning methods. Therefore, general education is needed as the closing of the educational gap in the industrial revolution 4.0. Adjusting to the era of industrial revolution 4.0, educational methods must use technology. Therefore, the research and development of e-conosmart 2.0 was made, integrated economic learning in general education, which included anti-corruption education, national defense, tolerance, diversity, multiculturalism, disaster mitigation, and tax awareness, which were packaged in appstores, twitter, facebook and instagram, in the form of qoutes that provide life lessons. Based on the results of research and development, the use of e-conosmart 2.0 which contains general education, is able to attract students enthusiasm in learning, successfully instill 21st century skills into students, and shape the character of students. So, that it is expected that the presence of E-conosmart 2.0 can create a generation of Indonesians who are of high quality, competitive, and have good character.
