Abstract
The goal of this research is to identify how important homestay business in Indonesia. The method used in this research was the descriptive method, This study uses descriptive methods to find out the related variable about Homestay Business by analyzing existing facts. With this research we can find out peoples opinions about the homestay business itself. The result of this research is to identify how important homestay business in Indonesia. Especially to attract international tourist to come to Indonesia, to raise local income, and makes Indonesia well-known in the world. This homestay business is not really being applied in Indonesia, not like any other countries which have many homestay business. This business is promising in the future because the international tourist in Indonesia is increasing every year. The result shows that homestay business is important in Indonesia because this business can raise local income, to attract international tourist to come to Indonesia, and to give the tourists chance to interact directly in Indonesian daily activities.
