Abstract
The performance of employees in the company was not spared in the training and discipline of work therefore this study aims to determine the effect of training and discipline on the performance of employees at the companys plantations in the city of Medan, population in this study are employees of the plantation company in the city of Medan. Techniques of collecting data is by using a questionnaire (questionnaire) is a list of statements about the training, the discipline of work and employee performance. Questionnaire in this study using 10 statement developed indicators for training, work discipline and employee performance. The theory used in this study relates to Human Resource Management, namely, training, Work Discipline and Employee Performance. The results showed that the training and discipline of work and significant positive effect on employee performance either partially or simultaneously on a plantation company in the city of Medan
