Abstract

This paper presents development of Amplitude Shift Keying Trainer Kit as a learning media for Digital Communication System practice subject. The trainer kit development was carried out by using ADDIE model with stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. In the first stage, the training module needs was analyzed, followed by the design of the training module and the job sheet in the second stage. The development of the training module is carried out in the third stage by involving material experts and media experts, followed by the fourth stage preparing teachers and students for implementation. In the final stage, a level one evaluation is carried out by tracing the students perceptions of the designed training module and job sheet. The results showed that the ASK training module was considered very feasible in terms of material with a feasibility score of 96.94, and in terms of instructional media with a feasibility score of 80.21. From the evaluation stage it was found that the users- response was very good with a mean score of 86.18. From this study it can be concluded that the ASK training module is very suitable as a learning media for Digital Communication Systems Practice subject.
