Abstract
After Palu Earthquake on September 2018, another earthquake have occured in Banggai Islands which located very close. The Earthquake occurred on shallow depth which caused by thrusting or vertical relative mechanism on Central Sulawesi tectonic system. To understand the tectonic system in Banggai Islands we present a 1-D velocity model of the Earth crust obtained by solving the coupled hypocentre-velocity inversion for 651 local earthquakes recorded at a regional network in Central Sulawesi.
