Abstract
The aim of this research to know how to create and test and want to know the advantages and disadvantages of automatic grain dryers. After doing the manufacture and testing obtained beam-shaped tool with dimensions of 50 x 20 x 40 cm, equipped tube dryer container, stirrer arm, artificial heating furnace, the blower along with air, motors, track spending and funnel as well as the brain using an Arduino Uno R3. The test results showed the water level sensor accuracy level of 0.2% and a temperature sensor in 0.28%. The drying time for drying grain from grain initial moisture content of 24.48% to 14% over 82 minutes. This tool can dry the grain faster, equipped with temperature regulation, as well as an LCD display that allows users to monitor during the drying process.
