Abstract

Abstract— Citizens Concern for Aids (WPA) is the first form of community action and participation to respond to HIV and Aids in Indonesia and is officially recognized by the National Aids Commission. WPA has the readiness, ability and willingness to participate in preventing and overcoming problems caused by medical illness due to behavior in this case Hiv-Aids along with other diseases that accompany themselves independently. The study was conducted at WPA in 4 (four) districts in the city of Bandung. The results of this study show participation local women as agent in community health. process of critical exploration of women cadres in concerning Hiv-Aids among community members, and communication model for resolving low health literacy risk related Hiv-Aids. Using a qualitative descriptive paradigm with the case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation studies.
