Abstract

n Indonesia, though various approaches have been widely implemented among EFL Translation classrooms, it is evident that the teaching materials has always been the crucial part to achieve the teaching-learning targets. The present article is to comment an approach in Translation Materials Development, Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) and its implementation for 22 Pre-service teachers situated at Universitas Sulawesi Barat. As a result of the purposive sampling, it was concluded that after manipulating the materials of Translation containing a number of tasks, the students were expected to comprehend the theory and apply procedures and its strategies of translation both Indonesia to English and English to Indonesian ( bahasa Indonesia) .
