Abstract

The main problem in Indonesia Education is the enhancement of unemployment rate mostly obtained from the vocational school. Thus, vocational education institution needed to develop Technical Education and Vocational Training (TVET) through increased collaboration with Industries and business. The aims of this research to describe the development of TVET programme in an educational institution, especially in the College of Vocational Studies IPB. In addition, this paper analyzes the strategies to increased cooperation with industries precisely. The method used in this research is qualitative research with SWOT analysis. The develop of TVET programme is carried out starting from strengthening collaboration with industries, developing curriculum-based industry needed, the developed infrastructure, and increased the human resources capabilities. Compliance with the industries is the essential key to link and match between human resource and industries need
