Abstract

Patron client relationship is a form of replication of the power difference relationship can be good and bad. Uncontrolled power differences can result in damaging relationships by exploiting weaker parties by powerful ones. The result of the study of SEM method on 143 respondents shows that the attachment of relationship between patron and client and the closeness of patron and client relationship can be a factor that can control exploitative behavior for power owner. Spiritual leadership behaviors play a role not only as a controlling force but also as a driver in improving the quality of cooperation by motivating and building awareness to make changes.
