Economic Value Added (EVA) Approach To Evaluate Company Financial Performance of Distribution Company Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange For Period 2014 - 2017

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate financial performances of PT. Tigaraksa Satria, Tbk (TGKA) and PT. Enseval Putra Megatrading (EPMT) as a distribution company using Economic Value Added (EVA) approach during period of 2014 to 2017. This research uses financial report that were obtained obtained from IDX website, company-s website and interview. The research proves that the financial performance of the two distribution companies for period 2014-2017 show a positive results (EVA>0). In 2014 EVA of TGKA was Rp162.674.706.763 and EVA in 2015 increased to Rp191.395.182.514. In 2016 TGKA created EVA Rp175.608.568.953 and increased to Rp180.518.201.890 in 2017. For EPMT in 2014 created EVA Rp266.090.979.215, EVA in 2015 Rp287.795.995.923 and for 2016 EVA of EMPT increased to Rp310.978.500.588. As for 2017, EVA of EPMT reduced to Rp227.805.590.090. The result of the research shows that TGKA and EPMT as Distribution companies create value for investors
