Abstract

The AIDS Commission (KPA) recorded the highest number of sufferers of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in East Jakarta in DKI Jakarta. This study aims to determine the factors that influence spatially and non-spatially on the number of people with HIV / AIDS in East Jakarta. The results of this study are expected to be useful in eradicating HIV / AIDS, especially in East Jakarta and generally for other regions that have the same characteristics as East Jakarta. The parameter estimation method in this study used the maximum likelihood method. The results showed that spatial and non-spatial factors had a significant effect with alpha 5%. In addition, the addition of spatial factors gave smaller standard error value. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Poisson autoregressive spatial model provided better parameter estimation results than the Poisson regression model.
