The rapid increase of human population have resulted in high volume of solid waste generated. In 2017 the total population of Pati Regency was 1.246.691 with reference to SNI 19-3983-1995, so that the solid waste generation could be estimated at 3.116.727 liters / day. Landfill is one of basic needs of each city/regency to manage its solid waste. Sukoharjo Landfill is one of the landfill sites in Pati Regency located in Sukoharjo village Margorejo subdistrict Pati Regency. The existence of landfill often has negative impacts and positive impacts for the local community. Sukoharjo Landfill has been established since 1994 and the government continues to develop landfill management in order to reduce negative impacts and increase positive impacts on the local community. The aim of this study are to know the economics impact of Sukoharjo Landfill for the community in Sukoharjo Village Subdistrict Margorejo Pati Regency and give recommendation for the government in the form of strategies to increase economics impact for local community towards the existence of Sukoharjo landfill. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative. The data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The data were analized using SWOT analysis to determine alternative priority strategies.The results showed that the local community felt the economics impact of the Sukoharjo landfill. To increase the economics impact of the existence of Sukoharjo landfill for the local community, the following recommendations can be given: improvement of methane gas management technology, strengthen coordination with the government of Sukoharjo village, development of Sukoharjo landfill as education tourism attraction, empowerment of surrounding scavenger to sort of waste in Sukoharjo landfill, and empowerment of local community in waste reduction activities at Sukoharjo landfill.
