ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the "Effect of Profitability and Asset Structure on Capital Structure in Manufacturing Companies Cable Sub-Sector Registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2018". Data taken in the form of secondary data obtained from the financial statements of cable sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2018. This type of research is quantitative research and the data used is secondary data. Data analysis techniques using the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, test coefficient of determination. Partial testing of hypotheses using the t-test and simultaneously using the F-test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: 1) Profitability partially has a significant effect on Capital Structure. 2) Asset Structure partially has a significant effect on Capital Structure. 3) Profitability and Asset Structure simultaneously have a significant effect on Capital Structure.
