Metallurgical performance in flotation process can be expressed by recovery or grade. In column flotation process, recovery is affected by several factors including particle size and air flow rate. Particle size and air flow rate affect the interaction of mineral particles with air bubbles. Metallurgical performance of column flotation process can be determined by monitoring. Electrical capacitance volume tomography (ECVT) used as a monitoring technology by utilizing the difference in permittivity values of objects in column flotation and producing volumetric and real-time images.
