Dolomite minerals are currently widely used for a variety of uses, including fertilizers, glass mixtures, as materials for making cement, necessary elements for making ceramics, etc. Research on the composition of dolomite in rock gaming of the Wonosari Formation, Gunung Kidul Regency, Central Java. The method used in this study is petrography and AAS. The results of the petrographic analysis showed that the presence of small amounts of dolomite while the AAS analysis also showed the presence of not too little (little) dolomite. Conclusion Dolomite contained in the Wonosari formation is not too dominant; at present, the exploitation for dolomite minerals continues to be carried out with open mining methods.
