Abstract

This research is about learning physics on fluid topics by applying problem-based learning where the problem is in the form of contextual problems with the aim of improving students creative thinking skills. The research subjects were selected by purposive sampling technique that is on eleventh grade students in one of the senior high schools with the amount as many as ten students with the aim of facilitating the assessment of an increase in the creativity abilities of each student. While two students who had an increase in creative thinking skills in the less creative category. Therefore, it can be said that the use of contextual problems in physics learning can help improve students creative thinking skills.
