Abstract

The disruptive era presents many challenges in various fields for a number of professional workers including kindergarten teachers. Can Kindergarten Teachers in North Sulawesi Province be able to survive and compete amid advances in science and technology in the field of learning in this disruptive era? Based on these facts, this study aims to examine and describe the resilience of kindergarten teachers in this disruptive era. This study uses the Resilience Theory of Reivich, K and Shatte, A. The researcher used a qualitative approach by conducting observations, and in-depth interviews with 6 (six) Kindergartens in Manado City, Bitung City, and Regency Minahasa. The results of this study indicate several factors for the resilience of kindergarten teachers in this disruptive era such as: emotional regulation, optimism, and the calling as a teacher. This research is expected to be useful to provide insights on the factors of resilience for kindergarten teachers in the disruptive era.
