Detection of cigarette smoke is very necessary to increase the level of comfort, especially for those who are in a closed room. By implementing the internet of things system in detecting cigarette smoke, it will be easier to monitor and control it via a smartphone. In this system MQ-2 sensors are used to detect cigarette smoke in the room, NodemCu microcontroller as a processor of data received from the sensor, and the buzzer as an alarm also blynk application to display notifications if the room is detected by cigarette smoke.
