RECIPROCAL TEACHING AS A INCREASING EFFORTS MATHEMATICAL UNDERSTANDING ABILITY

Abstract

Based on the results of previous observations in SMAN 13 Garut, the daily math test results on functional derivative material are still under the KKM.The method used was the classroom action research method.The Procedure was formed in a cycle with taking research as much as three cycles, each cycle had two meetings in learning activities.Data collection techniques were through observation, mathematical comprehension tests, and documentation. The subject of this study were students of class XI MIPA 3, a total of 32 students.The success indicator in this study is if there are 85% or more students in the class get an average value of 75 and the students average activity is 75% or more than the students that have a good category. Based on the results of the study,the activities of students in cycle I was obtained in sufficient categories, the second cycle was in a good category, and in the third cycle in the excellent category.While the results obtained before the prasiklus average value is 61.2 with a 46,7% completeness level. In the first cycle,the average value was 65.5 (56.25%).Cycle II the average value was 73.0 (71.88%).And in the third cycle, the average value is 79.5 (87.50%).
