Abstract
The partner in the implementation of this program is Subak Pacung, located in the Selat Village, Abian Semal District, Badung Regency. This group always experiences problems in the use of chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides which increasingly damage the soil structure and can pollute the environment. Chemical fertilizers can trigger poor soil quality, environmental pollution and increasing greenhouse gas emissions, which poses a higher risk of global warming. Therefore, it is necessary to provide alternatives to making organic fertilizers that are cheap and environmentally friendly and have the same benefits as chemical fertilizers. Organic fertilizers made from local micro organisms have the benefits of liquid organic fertilizer, decomposers or ingredients for composting, and vegetable pesticides. The method that will be carried out in the implementation of this training is by interviewing, face-to-face, counseling and hands-on practice. Gradually these activities will be carried out: First, we will hold a general education about the dangers of using chemical fertilizers and pesticides and provide an explanation of the benefits and methods Local Micro Organism (MOL) manufacturing. Secondly, we will provide direct training in making MOL, several evaluations are carried out. Third, if the PKM activity will end we will motivate farmers to plant rice by implementing the use of MOL as organic fertilizer and organic pesticides. From this activity the output target to be achieved is that the training participants understand how to make MOL so that the use of chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides can be reduced.
