Abstract
One of the human need is to establish a romantic relationship. Romantic relationships are involving two individuals where they carry out joint activities in order to get to know each other. Establishing a relationship is one form of interpersonal communication. A romantic relationship can not be separated from the terms of courtship and marriage. In the Islamic tradition, romantic relationships have their own characteristics. Romantic relationships are usually done by communicating face to face. Whereas in Muslim societies have different ways of communication. The development of the internet unconsciously change society in various ways. The presence of technological and internet innovations facilitates aspects of human life, so that humans have a high dependence on information technology. One aspect that is affected is the aspect of communication. Communication is easier to do with internet technology. With this convenience, romantic relationships can be made through the internet. Pair search can now be done through digital media. Currently various online dating applications and online sites can be easily downloaded on smartphones, or by visiting websites. Even today many of these sites and applications focus on certain markets such as Muslims. This article will focus on discussing Muslim women. In this study the researchers used a descriptive method of qualitative analysis through literature studies. This article aims to describe the romantic relationship of Muslim women in the phenomenon of online dating which is currently developing in the community.
