Abstract. Bugis tribe is known as a nomadic community that dominates the profession as a fisherman, especially in Bangka Belitung. The attitude and behavior of the people tend to be different from those of the indigenous population who are more calm and open to migrants or migrants, including the Bugis tribe. However, the phenomenon is difficult to blend or blend due to differences in character, customs, and social culture in general. Pakkamases attitude was not responded positively by the locals. Even it contained loyal, friendly, sincere, and innocent values. Research with a qualitative approach to social culture philosophically found a social gap between the assimilations.
