According to study about convex function, A. W. Roberts and D. E. Varberg[17] have studied further. In this paper, we will introduce some basic properties about convex function and quasiconvex fucnction on R. Some comparison between properties of convex function and quasiconvex function will be presented also. Our results are quasiconvex function can be represented as monotone function either or at most as two combination of monotone functions, as consequences it is discontinuous mostly at countable points, and it is not differentiable at zero measure set only. However the results are still fundamental, but we will learn as clear as we can.

This resreach is motivated with problem of student who cheat while exam that reflect to their integrity. Cheating can interfere evaluation process. Exams that use computer/smartphone are still many using multiple choice question that are not same as using paper based that has more variation type of question, especially essay question, so a systes was made for essay type question. One of method that can be use for essay scoring are term frequency, n-gram, and cosine similarity. Concept of the methode are comparing keyword answer as query and student answer as document then get score of student answer. This method can also be use in other way, that is comparing ansewers between students where the result is score of similiarity student answers. Student answers that have 75% similarity will be considered by system as cheating which is expected to prevent cheating and increase student integrity. To test this system, experiments where conducted on student behavior when they knowing the system can only assess the answer and student behavior when they knowing the system can find out shich students are cheating. The result of experiment are: (1)This Resreach produced a system for exam with essay type. (2) Result of scoring student answer get the Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 10.101 in the pre-test and 6.297 in the post-test and Pearson Correlation Coefficient Result of -0.0283 in the pre-test and -0.0286 in the post-test. Abstract
Environmental awareness is critical to understanding the present condition of the environment and the significance of protecting it. Science education has an important role in assisting environmental awareness for students. However, limited class time and massive class size problems have restricted student participation and attempted thinking. Consequently, the class debate findings tend to end up being superficial, having little effect on the environmental awareness of the students. This study seeks to explore the environmental awareness of students through the Instagram-mediated SAMR model in studying environmental pollution. Three 8th grade classes of a private junior high school in Bandung consisting of 76 students participated in this study. The students were advised to follow an Instagram account by learning the subject, interacting with each other and the teacher, and submitting their vlog projects. An online questionnaire adapted from Hiramatsu consisting of 5 factors of environmental awareness was used to collect information on the environmental awareness of the students. The data were descriptively evaluated to explore students- responses to those factors. The finding of student environmental awareness demonstrates that students care about environmental problems. It is suggested that learning environmental pollution topic using Instagram-mediated SAMR model can facilitate student environmental awareness.

Abstract
Soil takes a big role as a source of excess CO2 gas emissions that can be the cause of global warming, mainly peat soils that contain a lot of organic matter. One of the factors that influence is soil temperature. The research aims to analyze the temperature distribution at the surface of the soil to optimize the detection of CO2 gas sensor for soil by designing an appropriate heating system. The method used is an experimental method. Research using peat soil placed in the chamber, the heater was placed on it, and a number of thermometer-digitals are placed at several points on its surface in the x-axis and y-axis by plotted distance from the heater is 5cm, 10cm, and 15cm. Temperature alterations toward time can be observed by thermometer and stopwatch. The temperature distribution at the surface of soil occurs evenly in the radial direction, and further the distance of soil from the heater, the less its influence toward temperature alteration of soil. At plotted distance of 5cm, the temperature alteration toward time is 0.0019oC/s, at 10cm is 0.0004oC/s, and at 15cm is 0.0001oC/s. Based on it, the optimal distance used in the design of the heating system is 5cm and 10cm, and CO2 gas sensor successfully detected CO2 gas on it. This result can be used as supporting data in designing a heating system for portable CO2 concentration gauge for soil.

Abstract
Orbital computation of 3,372 real near-Earth asteroids (NEAs) population was conducted and their orbital evolution was recorded every 1,000 years for the next 5 Megayears (Myr). This study is aimed to detect asteroids in 1:1 mean-motion resonance (MMR) with planets. In order to achieve our goal, we employed N-body numerical simulation with the use of Swift-RMVS (Regularized Mixed-Variable Symplectic) integrator. We found that NEAs population could have evolved into asteroids in a co-orbital state with Terrestrial planets (Mercury to Mars). For the detection of this co-orbital condition a time series of motif discovery algorithm known in computer science was applied to asteroids orbital elements. The predicted results of the experiments carried out were then compared with one of the standard tool in astronomy, which showed that our model could prove the location of the motif and the duration of the asteroid in co-orbital state with each Terrestrial planets.

Abstract
Indonesia is still far from having an ideal future energy security, which is indicated by energy inefficiency. In fact, the dependency on fossil energy became a barrier to optimize the energy sector. Therefore, to achieve energy security, Indonesia should manage its energy resources strategically. As a solution, it can be solved by utilizing plastic waste as a source of alternative fuel (pyrognate) through pyrolysis treatment. The approach of this research used mix method analysis to measure the utilization of the plastic waste into fuel oil pyrolysis with the design of a cracking reactor prototype using induction heating technology. The LDPE which has been used in this paper is 0.5 kg, also the stainless steel cylindrical reactor. Furthermore, the R&D efficiency results showed that the up and down pattern used in its score. It shows in the increasing of R&D efficiency start from 2009 with 0.891 and ended in escalated point with 1.00 efficiency score in 2016. The result showed that it has high energy efficiency due to fast start-up in the process causing low equipment cost (affordability), precision, and repeatability. With the right resolve, Indonesia will emerge to be stronger and more defensible in the realm of energy

A study conducted to analyze the didactic transposition process on the concept of central angle and circumferential angle in junior high school. This research is a hermeneutic phenomenology research. Geometry textbooks, the 2013 curriculum and junior high school mathematics textbooks analyzed were the data sources in this study. Descriptive analysis is used to analyze the didactic transposition process. The results of this study indicate that there is no structural change in the concept of the central angle and the circumferential angle from scholarly mathematics to school mathematics. But there is a change in form in the concept of the central angle and the circumferential angle from scholarly mathematics to school mathematics. In school mathematics, the concepts presented are contextual, concrete and simple. While in scholarly mathematics, the concepts presented are abstract. This change in form adjusts the level of cognitive development of students.

Abstract
Here, we report an efficient approach to optimize the performance of surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate. The geometry of the SERS substrate consists of the Au film deposited on polymer grating. Firstly, an optimized value of grating geometries and Au thickness has been performed by rigorous-coupled wave analysis (RCWA).The SERS substrate were fabricated by the laser interference lithography (LIL) and magnetron sputtering of Au thin films. The effect of the Au thin film prepared by magnetron sputtering at different deposition time (5-180 s) and operated pressure (3-5 mTorr) on the SERS performance were investigated and compared with the RCWA simulation results. The morphology of the obtained samples was observed by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The results indicated that optimal SERS substrate with deposition time of 180 s and 3 mTorr-operated pressure was obtained. The limit of detection for methylene blue (MB) and methyl parathinon were evaluated at 10^(-4) M and 10^(-2) M, respectively. Moreover, our SERS substrate shows the application of a portable Raman spectrophotometer which also promising for on-site pesticide substance detection.

Abstract
The problem in this research is the difficulty in distinguishing batik motifs from non-batik motifs for people who do not understand batik motifs. The classification of batik motifs can be done by processing digital images of batik motifs using artificial neural network methods for the classification of batik image motifs. This study aims to utilize artificial neural networks to distinguish batik motifs and non-batik fabric motifs. Several important steps are needed, namely the process of acquiring batik and non-batik images, pre-transforming batik and non-batik images to gray scale forms, texture feature extraction in gray scale images and detection of motifs using networks artificial nerve. Image acquisition is done by collecting batik and not batik images from several different motifs. The preprocessing process is done by changing the image size to 256 x 256. Sixteen texture features are used, namely Angular Second Moment (ASM), contrast, correlation and Inverse Different Moment (IDM) with 45 ° angle intervals, namely 0 °, 45 °, 90 ° and 135 °. Processing data sets is divided into 70 percent as training data and 30 percent as testing data. Artificial neural network models used in this research use the Backpropagation learning algorithm by comparing the Scaled conjugate gradient algorithm (trainscg) training method and the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm (trainlm) training method. The results obtained for the accuracy of the batik detection model using the Scaled conjugate gradient algorithm (trainscg) training method were higher with an accuracy value of 86.7%, compared to the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm (trainlm) method by 73.5%.

Abstract
Surface enhanced Raman scattering substrate was an alternative analytical tool with ultrahigh sensitivity and rapid response for chemistry, medicine and forensics science. In this work, the surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate based on PDMS grating structure created by laser interference lithography using excimer laser modification and further 80 nm-thick Au thin film deposition by dc magnetron sputtering was proposed. We investigated the effect of the grating depth on SERS performance. The methylene blue solution of different concentration was employed to test the SERS performance using the portable Raman spectrometer. The optimal SERS performance can be optimized by fabricating the PDMS grating structure with 850 nm-period, 310 nm-depth and 0.5-filling factor

Housekeeping gene are effective genes needed in cell maintenance and often used as internal controls in gene expression normalization because of their stable nature. However, information from the housekeeping gene especially on Anguilla bicolor is unknown. In relation that, this study aims to isolate and sequencing housekeeping of Anguilla bicolor by designing degenerate primer. 18s ribosomal proteins (18S rRNA), Beta Actin (ACTB), Elongation Factor 1-Alpha (ef1a) and Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (GAPDH). The degenerate primer consists of two primer sets (outer and inner) were designed by: (1) Collection fish sequences of Actinopterygii class; (2) Aligment sequences; (3) Uploading sequences to the Primaclade web; (4) Selection of primary pairs. The selected primers were then used to amplify housekeeping gene Anguilla bicolor using the Nested PCR method. DNA of Anguilla bicolor was obtained from DNA isolation using the Sambrook protocol. The result of housekeeping gene amplification was then sequenced directly to determine the nucleotide sequences of the gene sequences. Next, contig and BLAST analysis are performed on the gene sequences obtained to ensure that the sequences match the target genes. The results of BLAST analysis showed that the three of four genes sequences were corresponding to the target gene, those are ribosome protein 18s (18S rRNA), Beta Actin (ACTB) and Elongation Factor 1-Alpha (ef1a). The general grouping of dendrograms showed that the three gene sequences were in groups with gene target. The conclusion of this study is the discovery of three specific sequences which can be used as a source for designing specific primers in subsequent studies.

Abstract
The aim of the study was to identify levels and model of understansding of prospective primary school teachers related to concepts of heat convection. This study uses the descriptive quantitative method. Research subject were 30 prospective primary school teachers at one university in Riau Province who had attended the basic concepts of science course with their lecturers. The instrument used to collect data is a conceptual understanding test consisting of four parts of the questions. The results showed that profile of levels of understanding of primary school teachers retated to concept of heat convection are: Sound Understanding (SU) (0 %), Partial Understanding (PU) (47%), Incorrect Understanding (IU) (20%), No Understanding (NU) (20%), No response (NR) (13%), and profile of model of understanding are: Optimum Model (OM) (0%), Uncreative Model (UM) (10%), Theoretical Model (TM) (20%), Practical Model (PM) (17%), Memorizing Model (MM) (20%), Inappropriate Model (IM) (33%). These results indicated that lectures on basic concept of science carried out by the lecturers had not facilitated the achievement of the sound understanding level and the optimum understanding model for prospective primary school teachers.
