Abstract
Many people assume that addition and subtraction are simple calculations. However, some studies in Indonesia reveal that students still experience some problems associated with it, such as the carrying method in addition and borrowing method in subtraction. In terms of learning, when referring to Brunners theory, the presentation of the textbook does not provide an explanation of how to calculate using the iconic representation. Of all these things, it is important to be able to know the way students think that this depends on the mental model. However, because the mental model is an internal representation then the effort that can be done is analysis them through representation. Therefore, this study was conducted through tests and interview for students, also interviews for teachers. The field survey results show a tendency in selecting the type of representation. In addition, this paper will also be presented a representation of the mental model of a student.

Abstract
Mathematical modeling is a tool used for the mechanism of strategy in controlling epidemics. In this paper, a basic model for bird flu epidemic is developed. Vaccination treatment of bird flu is a common method used to control disease. The bird flu model is reformulated by taking into account vaccination. Those models are system of ordinary differential equations. Stability of both the models are discussed and associated with the threshold number stating population is free of disease or infected. Numerical solutions are given on phase plane to confirm the analytical results.

Abstract
Ludwigia adcendens and Ludwigia grandiflora are water weeds rapidly grow and disperse. This plant is mainly found in ponds, swamps, and polluted water channels. This means that both plants are capable of absorbing organic and inorganic waste, including heavy metals as Cd (cadmium). The objective of the research to describe capability of L. grandiflora and L. adcendens in Cd Solution at various concentration as individual species or as consortium. These plants were acclimatized first in hydroponic for 14 days, then moved to medium with varying treatments; only L. grandiflora, only L. adcendens and combination of both species at different Cd concentration (0, 5, 10, and 15 ppm). Level of Cd was analyzed at 7th and 14th day using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), while wet biomass of each group was compared. Data collected was analyzed statistically. Capability of L. grandiflora and L. adcendens in Cd Solution from low to high was found to be L. grandiflora, L. adcendens > consortium of both species, in which bioconcentration factor (BCF) > 1 and translocation factor (TF) < 1. Concentration of Cd was also found to be higher in the roots than in leaves. Colour of leaves also supported these plants as Cd phytoremediator; plants with higher Cd accumulation had yellow leaves compared to plants accumulated lower Cd level.

Abstract
The growth of the textile industry in Indonesia brings harm to the environment as disposal of wastewater to the river bodies still contains dangerous dyes. This affects the life of aquatic biota and the health of surrounding communities that use river water for domestic needs. To overcome this problem, N-doped Carbon Nanodots (N-doped CNDs) as photocatalysts can be used as an alternative in degrading Methylene Blue through photocatalytic process. N-doped CNDs from molasses have been successfully synthesized using H2O2 followed by the Microwave-Assisted Extraction (MAE) method. The synthesized N-doped CNDs possess average particle size of 1.5 nm observed by TEM. The properties of N-doped CNDs emit blue fluorescence under UV light 365 nm and show peak absorption at wavelength of 220 nm. Vibration peaks of OH, C-H, C = O, N-H, C-N functional groups are observed by FTIR at wavenumbers 3246.94 cm-1, 2929.06 cm-1, 1656.08 cm-1, 1590.27 cm-1 and 1036.98 cm-1 respectively. The success of nitrogen doping within CNDs is proven by FTIR analysis showing an increase of absorbance of C-N and N-H groups of N-doped CNDs. The potential of N-doped CNDs as photocatalysts for the degradation of methylene blue became the object of this study. The results showed that the degradation efficiency of methylene blue using 3 mL N-doped CNDs at pH 10 exhibited the most optimal degradation efficiency. Under these conditions, the degradation efficiency resulting from the use of 254 nm 11 W UV lamps and 14.5 W Philips LED lamps in 270 minutes is 96.8% and 97.2% consecutively.

Abstract
Farmers are the main actors in agricultural development, have a major contribution in realizing Indonesias agricultural vision. To support the realization of agricultural production and productivity targets, the governments supports is by issuing policies to provide subsidized fertilizer assistance. The criteria for farmers who are eligible to receive subsidized fertilizer assistance are having land less than 1.9 hectares, have been a members of farmer groups, and having work as a farmer or a private employees. Data collection was carried out using the method of observation and interviews with farmer groups in Gunung Kidul. Data classification is done by applying the C4.5 algorithm to 300 data of prospective farmers receiving subsidized fertilizer assistance. Application development includes interface design, making data flow diagrams, implementation and testing. From the research that has been done by applying the C4.5 Algorithm with 300 data and 113 as a training data. Produce a data classification of farmers who are eligible to receive assistance at 88% accurate and targeted to the needs of farmers. This means that the C4.5 algorithm can be used as a classification for determining the eligibility of farmers to receive subsidized fertilizer.

Abstract
The computer program source code must have a good documentation on it in order to be more understandable by others. One of the documentation is comments. Therefore, the university students need to learn and able to write comments. Some university students are familiar with online judge as a tool for learning programming. Online judge usually does not check how the source code written instead of the output only. This research is aimed for implementing comment analysis module for online judge in order it can check the comments in the source code which is uploaded by students. The comments on this module are categorized as two parts. There are header and process comments. The comments data have taken from online judge which is used before as learning tool for basic programming subject. The data are divided into two groups. There are training group and test group. This module gives mark to the source code comments based on the categorized and similarity score between comments and the given problem.

Abstract
According to study about convex function, A. W. Roberts and D. E. Varberg[17] have studied further. In this paper, we will introduce some basic properties about convex function and quasiconvex fucnction on R. Some comparison between properties of convex function and quasiconvex function will be presented also. Our results are quasiconvex function can be represented as monotone function either or at most as two combination of monotone functions, as consequences it is discontinuous mostly at countable points, and it is not differentiable at zero measure set only. However the results are still fundamental, but we will learn as clear as we can.

Abstract
Technology development is currently experiencing a fairly rapid increase, Therefore at the high school in Karawang intends to hold a grade promotion test using the Computer Based Test (CBT). However, in its implementation there are problems one of which is the server load. This is caused by user requests that exceed the servers capabilities. To overcome these problems, we use web server load balancing using haproxy. But the use of web server load balancing, often experience data inconsistencies per server. Therefore, database replication is also used that can guarantee data consistency in web server load balancing. This research uses descriptive approach with PPDIOO network system design method. There are 2 load balancing algorithms compared, namely round robin and least connection. Based on the httperf test results, throughput parameters of the two algorithms obtain the same average value of 99.5 Kb / second. In testing the response time parameter the least connection algorithm is superior at 6.9 ms compared to round robin which has an average value of 7.2 ms, but in testing the CPU Utilization parameter the round robin algorithm is superior at 23.7% compared to the least connection algorithm at 24.3%.
