Abstract
Abstract. The purpose of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in education is in line with the demands of the 21st century education, that is so that students have scientific and technological literacy seen from reading, writing, observing, and doing science, as well as being able to develop the competencies it has to apply in dealing with problems in daily life related to the science STEM (National STEM Education Center, 2014). Many STEM integration efforts revolve around engineering and design engineering as an impetus for learning science, mathematics, and technological content. The National Research Council Framework for Science Education K-12 (2012) articulates and discusses the role of engineering as a mechanism by which students can learn meaningful scientific concepts (Moore, et all 2014). This study aims to improve students engineering ability. Explanatory survey method was used in this study to detect their conception deeply. The respondense or participants of this study was eleven graders from public vocational school in Lembang in Agribusiness course. The results of this study indicate that Lembang vocational school students experience an increase in students- engineering ability in plant agribusiness subjects.

Abstract
This study aims to describe how to develop STEM – book on drinking water using 4S TMD models to develop student-s technology literacy. 4S TMD models consists of four stages i.e selection, structuring, characterization and didactic reduction. Developmental Research was used as method of the study consist of design, develop, and evaluation. In this article, we explain result of developed STEM – book on drinking water in selection and structuring stages. Selection stage consist of analysis science curriculum in junior high school related to the theme of drinking water, selection of concept label, selection of values that will appear in teaching material. in this book, we attempted interrelationships between students technology literacy and subject matter of science in junior high school. Structuring stage consist of make a concept maps, macro structure and multiple representation. In this paper, we only explained untill the structuring stage. Characterization and didactic reduction stages are still in the research stage.

Abstract
This study aims to explore the readiness of teachers in implementing STEM learning. This was motivated by the fact that schools need to provide teachers who are able to develop learning based on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The research method used was descriptive qualitative research involving each of the 16 teachers in the Lesson Study (LS) and STEM training program and the instrument used a questionnaire given to each teacher. This study shows that there are similarities and differences between each group with the factors that influence it. In the aspect of relevance, it was found that the two groups belonged to the very prepared category. The self-efficacy aspect of the STEM training program is better than LS. Whereas in the aspect of anxiety LS is more prepared than the STEM Training group. This is influenced by the fact that the two groups are actively involved in influencing their views on STEM teaching, the STEM training program gets more collaborative learning training and knows the many obstacles in the process of implementing learning.

Abstract
This study applies survey method with path analysis approach and aims to determine the effect image media usage on mathematics learning mathematics outcomes. The data of this study were obtained using questionnaires for image media variables and mathematics learning outcome variables using test questions. The validity of image media uses the Product Moment Person Correlation Coefficient formula and learning outcomes on Mathematics subjects using the Cronbach Alpha formula. The population in this study were 75 fourth grade students of Pabuaran 07 Bogor Elementary School. The sample taken by 43 students was obtained using the Taro Yamane formula with a precision of 5%. Tests for analysis prerequisites in the form of the Liliefors normality test. After the normality test, homogeneity testing is done by the Fisher test to show the population is homogeneous. Valid and reliable instruments are used to collect data, the results of which indicate that there are influences on the use of image media with the results of learning mathematics. The results show there is influence of the use of image media on mathematics learning outcomes which was shown by statistical analysis which produced a path coefficient (pxy) of 0.611. This shows the influence of using media images on mathematics learning outcomes, while the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.37 or 37%. The remaining 63% is determined by other factors. The average mathematics learning outcome is 37% determined by the use of image media through the regression equation Ŷ = -17.31 + 1.05X. It means that each increase in one unit value of the use of image media will cause an increase in mathematics learning outcomes by 1.05 units. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence on the use of image media on the fourth grade mathematics learning outcomes of Pabuaran 7 Elementary School.

Abstract
In this globalization era, 21st century learning should be implemented such as STEM-based learning with varied instructional material that involved the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to help students in mastering 21st century skills. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of STEM-based module on sound wave topic through the improvement of students- creative thinking. The method that used in this research was weak experimental research and the design was one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample was taken by simple random sampling technique which involved 31 students from the population of 8th grade students at Junior High School in Bandung. In order to measure the improvement of students creative thinking, pre-test was given before implementing STEM-based module and post-test was given after implementing STEM-based module. The result of the research showed that based on the analysis of the students- creative thinking results, the average N-Gain is 0,71 which categorized as high improvement. The result indicated that there were improvement of students- creative thinking skills. Based on the result, the research on STEM-based learning in other topics such as energy, optics and electricity were recommended.

Abstract
The industry 4.0 marks the fast-growing technology in many fields that seeks the efficiency of each processes in the industry. The efficiency is derived from the real-time dataset that is collected from a vast amount of data from many instruments which called as big data. Big data processing is used to predict market trends, discover new problem-solving and many more. Critical thinking, statistic, computing and the ability to understand how the world works are among important factors that has to be needed in big data processing. Nevertheless, the lack of good educational platform to host such important skills in current Indonesian education makes it harder to cultivate good human resources that are able to comprehend big data processing. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) is known to be the holistic educational approach that combines various disciplines into one set of educational approach to help students gain more skills and sharpen their knowledge in regards of the fast-growing industry 4.0 in Indonesia.

Abstract
The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) is an examination system that evaluates the education system every 3 years to 15-year-old students randomly selected. Indonesia was generally still below the average of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). In addition, the results of the PISA study are not only interpreted as rankings, but also important to carry out follow-up based on diagnoses produced from the PISA diagnostic survey to determine the weaknesses and strengths of Indonesian students and evaluate the education system in Indonesia. It is important to consider the use of the right and simple model to see the relationship between the diagnostic results of the performance of students PISA achievements in 2015. The purpose of this study was to select variables that significantly influence PISA achievement in 2015 using the SEM regularization model using The Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO) method. The results of the analysis show that the variables that significantly effects students PISA results are the students insight into the environmental, the students perceptions of science truth, and the students- participation in The International Standard Classification of Education level 0 (ISCED 0).

Abstract
The 4.0 industrial revolution demands universities to improve the quality of their graduates. This study aims to find out the improvement of basic engineering competencies through practical learning which is divided into three groups, namely Reg, Real, Reg.V-Labs and Rem, V-Labs. Practical topics are summarized on AC circuits with resistor loads, inducers and capacitors on series and parallel systems. Data analysis using One-way Anova test for comparison of practicum learning outcomes and practicum effectiveness was analyzed by gain-score comparison. The results of the study prove that the competence of practicum results in RL-circuit and RC-circuits is high but for RLC-circuit is quite medium. Based on the form of practicum, the competency achievement of the V-Labs group is higher than that of Reg. Real. The study also proves that the gain score states Reg.V-Labs are more effective than Reg.Real and Rem.V-Labs. The research findings recommend the use of a V-Labs simulation program for basic engineering practicums especially for laboratories that lack equipment and instructors in an effort to improve basic electrical competency.
