Abstract
Every beef cattle business owner has certain considerations in choosing the type of financing to run his business. One type of external funding available comes from formal institutional financing, but household-scale beef cattle farm with small livestock ownership makes access to financing sourced from formal institutions difficult. Small-scale or household-scale beef cattle farmers are generally less able to reach formal financial institutions such as banks. The financing is expected to get additional capital so that this financial market segment is actually obtained from non-formal financial institutions such as loans from close relatives, traders of production facilities and even moneylenders. The purpose of this study is to determine the accessibility of household-scale beef cattle farmers to formal financial institutions. The types of data used in this study are qualitative and quantitative data. Research data were collected through a survey using interview techniques using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The results showed that the accessibility of household-scale beef cattle farmers to formal financial institutions was relatively low, however, non-formal financial institutions originating from close relatives tend to have relatively higher accessibility.

The purpose of this study was to examine the causes of low pregnancy rates in beef cattle through artificial insemination in the 2018 UPSUS SIWAB program in Soppeng Regency. This type of research was exploratory by involving 3 informants who were considered to know clearly the causes of low pregnancy rates in beef cattle through artificial insemination in the 2018 UPSUS SIWAB program in Soppeng Regency, were breeder, inseminator, and employee of the Animal Husbandry Office of Soppeng Regency. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively using the Delphi method. The results showed that 4 main factors were obtained, namely the motivation of breeders for PKb treatment (pregnancy inspection) by inseminator was still low, the semi-intensive beef cattle maintenance system was not carried out well even some breeder were still maintaining an extensive maintenance system, the location of the breeders house was difficult to reached by inseminator, and breeders knowledge about the detection of lust was still lacking which causes the pregnancy rate through artificial insemination in the 2018 UPSUS SIWAB program in Soppeng Regency could not reach the target.

Abstract
Beef cattle farming plays an important role in the fulfillment of meat for human needs, reducing poverty and unemployment in Indonesia. Although the role is very large, one of the challenges faced is the low accessibility of financing. This study aims to determine the constraints and roles faced by women to access financing in the beef cattle farming. Data were collected through a survey using questionnaires with a sample size of 80 people. This research is descriptive research and uses descriptive statistical analysis. The result revealed that the greater workload of women in housekeeping and relatively small time allocations and autonomy in determining financing decisions is a constraint faced by women. The role of women namely: the contributor, in giving consideration whether need to be financed with debt or not, able to control the risk of financing because women are usually more careful in making decisions related; Collaborators, women collaborate with their husbands in managing livestock conducted, while still taking care of household chores and family activities, participate in decisions and use of resources and assets, it is rare to find women who have a small side business that can sustain business capacity, and; Main Proprietor, his own income-generating in beef cattle farming, which she manages and controls herself, provides input to family financial decisions and asset use.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the cooperative-based broiler agribusiness partnership model and the role of the partnership authority as an alternative solution to improve the performance of the broiler agribusiness partnership system in increasing the income of partner farmers. This research was conducted in South Sulawesi with a quantitative descriptive approach based on expert judgment. The results of the study show that the cooperative-based broiler chicken agribusiness partnership model is a partnership development model in which the role of the core company that has been controlled by livestock production facility producers is expected to experience a balance change set by the partnership authority. With the cooperative-based partnership model, the position of farmers who have only been and enjoying income in the farming sub-system will have the opportunity to obtain a share of income in the upstream sector through the distribution of the remaining business results from cooperative membership so that the potential for increased income is wider. Thus theoretically, if the concept runs well, it is expected that it will be a solution to the problem of developing broiler chicken agribusiness partnerships so far that seem unable to be controlled by existing institutions and unable to provide broad income increases for partners and their stakeholders, of course assuming that the concept works ideally with the support of all components involved in it without the intervention of political behavior as has been feared so far where a number of parties accuse political interests playing behind this industry.

Abstract
The success of the group is indirectly supported by the potential for social capital within the individual members of the group. Strong social capital will increase the effectiveness of a group in achieving a goal and reduce pressure within the group because each member feels comfortable in his group. For this reason, to form an institution, social capital is needed to strengthen the farmer groups. Social capital is related to cooperation in achieving group and government goals. In social capital there are norms and elements that play a very important role in group dynamics. The purpose of this study is to identify the dynamics of beef cattle breeders in the Village of Massamaturue Kec. Polongbangkeng North, Takalar District. The type of data used in this study are; Qualitative data which includes group dynamics. Research data were collected through surveys with interview techniques, focus group discussions and in-depth interviews. The results showed the dynamics of beef cattle breeders in Massamaturue Village, Polongbangkeng North District, Takalar Regency included in the sufficient category. Group dynamics that are approaching good are good enough for group development and maintenance that is equal to 116, while for group atmosphere and task functions that are equal to 76 and 68. It can be concluded that the lack of a companion role in providing direction and function of the chairman in creating a network of social capital in institutional adjustment, so that the group is still less dynamic which in the future will have a negative impact.

Abstract
The livestock subsector is one part of the agricultural sector that has the potential to be developed by Indonesian farmers. Many government programs support the development, one of them is UPSUS SIWAB (Upaya Khusus Sapi Betina Wajib Bunting). The technology that can be utilized to support the government program is Artificial Insemination. The application of Artificial Insemination technology needs to use the services of an inseminator where the services provided require a fee. Willingness or unwillingness of farmers to pay can be influenced by intrinsic factors which include age, education and farmers knowledge of Artificial Insemination. This study aims to determine the intrinsic factors that influence the Willingness to Pay (WTP) of farmers in implementing Artificial Insemination in Bali cattle. This research was conducted in Libureng District, Bone Regency. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis shows that intrinsic factors that influence the value of Willingness to Pay (WTP) are age, length of education, Knowledge of artificial Insemination (IB).

Abstract
The agri-food industry for beef cattle is an activity that integrates the development of the agricultural sector along with the development of industrial sectors and related services in a cluster of the beef cattle industry, upstream in downstream. This study aims to determine the increase in farmers income through artificial insemination in the agri-food sector of beef cattle in the Sinjai Central District, Sinjai Regency region. There were 100 intentional breeders, consisting of 50 natural cattle ranchers and 50 artificial insemination breeders interviewed, to be used as data sources. The data analysis uses the income formula and is explained descriptively. The business income of an artificial insemination or mating beef is positive if it counts only the income. The income is of very low value if the most important components of the livestock sector, such as fixed costs and variable costs, namely pens, land rent for animal feed, fertilizer and hand -work, are also calculated. the average income of a natural companion is Rp. 5,052,480 in artificial insemination cattle Rp. 6,854,960. According to the results obtained from the sale of cattle by natural mating or artificial insemination, there is a significant difference between the two: a natural laying cow can only be worth millions of dollars if it is at least a year old, while a cow from artificial insemination requires only a few months to be evaluated at millions of rupiahs This is due to differences in the acceleration of cows growth. The majority of the cows sold by the breeders in the Sinjai center are males, which is rather worrisome for the breeders of natural cattle due to the fact that many have started using artificial insemination, as this makes things easier when their cows are in covetousness.

Abstract
In order to increase understanding of the contribution of fodder legumes to the development of sustainable cattle farming, we based technical and economic analysis on data gathered from experimental sites situated in Blongko, South Minahasa Regency. The study aims to determine the effect of substitution for indigofera sp. replacing pennisetum purpureum cv. dwarf forage to beef cattle body weight gain. The study used twelve experimental beef cattle aged between 18-24 months consisting of three treatments with five replications each. Cattle are grouped randomly into forage treatment, which is the ratio of the percentage of composition between grass pennisetum purpureum cv. dwarf with legume indigofera sp. as follows: (R1) 100:0%; (R2) 60:40% and (R3) 40:60%. Feeding as much as ten percent of body weight based on fresh ingredients, or the equivalent of three percent of dry matter. Feeding twice a day, while drinking water is given ad libitum. The research was carried out in which cattle were given grass pennisetum purpureum cv. dwarf and legume indigofera sp. according to the design composition percentage, with a two-week research adaptation period, then data collection for three full months. The results of the study showed that the treatment of R2 gave the highest body weight gain of 0.506 kg / head / day, then (R3) 0.478 kg / head / day and the lowest (R1) 0.402 kg / head / day. It was concluded that (1) The results showed that feeding legume indigofera sp. replacing some grass can increase cattle weight gain, rather than just using grass; and (2) the substitution from grass pennisetum purpureum cv. dwarf with legume indigofera sp. with a ratio of 60:40 percent in beef cattle feed increased the body weight of beef cattle the highest.

Abstract
One of the competitiveness of cattle breeding business is determined by the cost of cattle produced. In the life cycle of cattle, one of the determining factors in breeding business resulting from artificial insemination (IB) is the age of calf that is from the mother to pregnant calf aged 6 months. Determination of the cost of production (HPP) for calf cattle for the peoples livestock business in general has not been done. Farmers consider the calculation of the cost of calf production is not yet important because cattle products sold in general are only mature animals such as going to brood stock or males and fattened males. Sales of calves are very rare or even if they are sold together with their mothers. In fact, livestock competitiveness is determined by the success in maintenance from pregnancy until the animal is mature. Therefore, it is important to calculate the basic cost of calf production to improve the competitiveness of the peoples cattle breeding business and at the same time increase the income of farmers. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the Production Price (HPP) of Calf Cattle produced by Artificial Insemination (IB) of Bali Cattle Business in Peoples Livestock. This research was conducted in May - June 2019 in Lempang Village, Tanete Riaja District, Barru Regency with a population of 75 breeders. The sampling technique was conducted purposively by researchers based on the criteria of farmers who have calves to produce a sample of 20 calf cattle breeders from artificial insemination (IB).Data analysis in determining the cost of goods manufactured (HPP) based on using the full costing method. The results showed the calculation of the cost of calf production using the full costing method of Rp. 6,750,000
