Abstract
The problem is an incompatibility between goals or expectations and reality. Identifying the level of students problem solving abilities is very important. It is due to the fact that the problem solving ability is related to how students face occurring problems. Therefore this study aims to identify mathematical problem solving ability. This research was conducted on class VII students in one of the junior high schools in Kota Bandung. The material chosen in this study was a quadrilateral flat build. The results showed the percentage of achievement of problem solving indicators that the mathematical problem solving ability of junior high school students in quadrilateral material was still low with an average score of 28.41%. In addition, when students solve a given problem, they immediately use the formula and enter the numbers listed on the question without understanding which strategy should be used and not checking the validity of the results or answers. This ability can be improved by doing problem solving oriented learning and familiarizing students according to the stages of problem solving.

Abstract
An abstract is a brief summary of a research article, thesis, review, conference proceeding or any in-depth analysis of a particular subject or discipline, and is often used to help the reader quickly ascertain the papers purpose.[1] When used, an abstract always appears at the beginning of a manuscript or typescript, acting as the point-of-entry for any given academic paper or patent application. Abstracting and indexing services for various academic disciplines are aimed at compiling a body of literature for that particular subject. The terms precis or synopsis are used in some publications to refer to the same thing that other publications might call an "abstract". In management reports, an executive summary usually contains more information (and often more sensitive information) than the abstract does.

Abstract
Understanding of concepts is very important in the teaching and learning process or learning process. Fractions are stepping stone which is very important for learning mathematics to a higher level. Fractions are also often used in everyday life. However, there are still many students who are still having difficulty understanding fractions. These difficulties are often caused by a lack of understanding of concepts. The purpose of this study was to analyze the types of misconceptions about fractions experienced by elementary school students. This study used a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 11 grade IV elementary school students in 2018/2019 which consisted of 5 men and 6 women. The instruments used were tests and interviews. There were 8 students experienced misconceptions, while 3 students were able to understand the concept. The results showed that 8 students experienced misconceptions, while 3 students were able to understand the concept. The types of misconceptions that occur in students can be in the form of basic errors, namely students understanding of the concept is still low so students do not have knowledge of the procedures used to answer the questions.

Abstract
Reasoning is one of the abilities needed in solving mathematical problems. Based on Lithner perspective, reasoning divided into imitative reasoning and creative reasoning. There are three indicators for each reasoning, that are plausibility, mathematical foundation, novelty for creative reasoning aspect and imitation for imitative reasoning aspect. The aim of this research is to analyze the qualitative effect of problem-based learning model toward students mathematical imitative and creative reasoning. In order to do so, we used descriptive qualitative methods by taking eighth-grade students (around thirteen to fourteen years old) in one of the Junior High School in Tasikmalaya. We used the data from a written test, observation and interviews. The results revealed that problem-based learning model suitable for students who have dominantly mathematical creative reasoning abilities. The characteristics of students who have dominantly mathematical imitative reasoning abilities prefer to be told rather than finding out. Based on the results, we conclude that each student has a different learning style according to his abilities.
