Abstract
Biology learning requires students to carry out observations in practicum activities to form of concept understanding. Based on the observations in class XI of SMAN 3 and SMAN 7 Padang, it was found that the school had carried out practicum activities, but students had difficulty in practicing, especially plant tissue. They did not find clear observations, less skilled in using microscopes and making plant preparations. In the other hand some microscopes had moldy lenses, and the unavailability of practical guidance media that contained photographs of plant tissue observations slashed manually, so that the plant tissue observations carried out did not go smoothly. This development research using tree stages from the 4D development model, namely definition, design and development. The research subjects were 28 students, one teacher, and two lecturers. The instruments were used interview guides, validity and practicality questionnaires. Based on research conducted, have been produced Plant Tissues Atlas for SMA / MA. The validity test results obtained an average value of 3.73. with very valid criteria from the aspects of the appropriateness of content, language and readability, and presentation. Practicality test results obtained an average value of 3.81 with very practical criteria by teachers and 3.65 with very practical criteria by students in terms of learning activities, ease of use, and benefits of use. Abstract
21st-Century Skills are such essential skills to be prepared for professionalism needed nowadays. Therefore, in some developed and developing countries, education curricula were more emphasizing to exercise these skills. However, to achieve this objective, we have to build a standard assessment test to make sure that students have accomplished these skills. The skills should relate to laboratory problem solving, and the test has to be integrally connected to laboratory activities. This research attempted developing a set of 21st-century skills test tested to some teachers in Jawa Barat with a sample of 45 teachers. They have been teaching physics subject for more than five years. The problems presented refers to the design standardized by the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). The test consisted of 10 questions involving the concept comprehension test, and 16 problems involving 21st-century skills test with the rubric developed by Suzie Boss. The test was designed using Edmodo and Moodle platforms. The research result showed that the ten problems involving concept comprehension have high validity, 0.628. As the 21st-century skills test, there are some problems not validated, such as the critical thinking skills related to criticize a result. Moreover, communicating skills test about an issue to explain the project description, the additional feature about question to be spoken was required for kids who possess the auditory learning style. The collaboration and creativity skills test problems have been validated well. Therefore, some problems on this proposed standard test should be further improved by providing the video-based experiments, the scientific illustration regarding physical phenomena, the laboratory experiment data, and the scientific articles.

Abstract
This resreach is motivated with problem of student who cheat while exam that reflect to their integrity. Cheating can interfere evaluation process. Exams that use computer/smartphone are still many using multiple choice question that are not same as using paper based that has more variation type of question, especially essay question, so a systes was made for essay type question. One of method that can be use for essay scoring are term frequency, n-gram, and cosine similarity. Concept of the methode are comparing keyword answer as query and student answer as document then get score of student answer. This method can also be use in other way, that is comparing ansewers between students where the result is score of similiarity student answers. Student answers that have 75% similarity will be considered by system as cheating which is expected to prevent cheating and increase student integrity. To test this system, experiments where conducted on student behavior when they knowing the system can only assess the answer and student behavior when they knowing the system can find out shich students are cheating. The result of experiment are: (1)This Resreach produced a system for exam with essay type. (2) Result of scoring student answer get the Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 10.101 in the pre-test and 6.297 in the post-test and Pearson Correlation Coefficient Result of -0.0283 in the pre-test and -0.0286 in the post-test. Abstract
Climate change is a change in weather patterns over a long period of time and can lead to increased frequency of hydrometeorological disasters. This study aims to see the potential for drought in Cilacap based on the results of the CCAM model projections with the RCP 4.5 scenario due to climate change. The method used is the CCAM modeling method, the validation of rainfall data from CCAM output with observation data using the correlation and RMSE methods, and determining the incidence of drought with the SPI (Standardized Precipitation Index). Based on the simulation results, rainfall data from CCAMs output in 2006-2014 showed good performance with a correlation value of 0.8 and RMSE 61 value compared with the average rainfall observation that reached 270. When this data was used as input for calculating drought conditions CCAM data is also seen as quite capable in estimating drought conditions in Cilacap when compared with data from BNPB. Therefore the CCAM data and the SPI method are quite capable of explaining the conditions of drought in Cilacap. Based on the projected data from CCAM and the SPI drought calculation method, in the period of mid-2019 to 2020 is estimated that Cilacap will be in a normal condition and there will be no drought or extreme wet conditions.

Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effect of Ipomoea batatas L. leaf extract as flocculants on the reduction of Ca2 + and Mg2 + (hardness) levels in water treatment for chemical practicum on environmental analysis at the FPMIPA UPI Chemical Department. This study continued from previous research on the optimization of Ipomoea batatas L. leaf extract as a flocculant in water treatment, the results of the study showed that Ipomoea batatas L. leaf extract can make water clearer and provide greater reduction in turbidity value. In this follow-up study it will be carried out through two stages, the first step is optimizing the optimum processing parameters. The second stage is water treatment using optimum processing parameters, followed by hardness testing in water samples before and after processing. In hardness testing the EDTA titration method is used with the EBT indicator. The results showed the optimum parameters of water treatment with Ipomoea batatas L leaf extract as flocculant was pH 6.5, coagulant dose 50 mg / L, flocculant dose 2 mg / L, stirring coagulant speed 200 rpm for 5 minutes, and flocculant stirring speed 40 rpm for 5 minutes. In testing the total hardness as CaCO3, the initial sample (without treatment) obtained hardness of 285 mg / L, whereas in the sample treated with Ipomoea batatas L. leaf extract as flocculant hardness was obtained at 190 mg / L. From the results of the study it can be concluded that Ipomoea batatas L. leaf extract as flocculant in water treatment can reduce the hardness level in water.

Abstract
Abstract. Silicon Oil, which is commonly used in vitreoretinal surgery, is known as Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). Silicone oil is used as a substitute for vitreous humor in vitreoretinal surgery. Silicone oil is needed in Indonesia and must be produced with sufficient quality and quantity for domestic needs, currently vitroretinal surgery still uses silicone oil imported from abroad. In this study, PDMS has been synthesized using an addition polymerization process with a polymerization chain growth mechanism, with the monomer octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, the initiator of Pottasium Hidroxida and the hexamethyldisiloxane chain terminator. The duration of mixing varied from 20 minutes, 30 minutes and 40 minutes, to study the effect of time on PDMS characteristics. The PDMS synthesis we produce is between 65.30% and 86.71% with various viscosities in the range of 900 m.Pa.s and 5000 m.Pa.s. FTIR spectroscopic measurements were found that all synthesized samples were found to have functional groups and structures similar to commercial silicon oil. UV-Vis and refractometer measurements, all samples have transmittance close to 100% and refractive index between 1.3589 and 1.4059. The effect of the length of time on the PDMS gel is on the viscosity the longer the mixing time the higher the viscosity, this mixing occurs at 170oC, stirred using a magnetic stirrer with 300rpm and the concentration of 1M Pottasium Hydroxide. In this study the propagation stage to form a gel began to form in 20 minutes.

Abstract
The Sea Surface Temperature (SST) is known as one of prominent factors affecting the concentration of metals in the marine environment. Hence, this research is aiming to study the effect of SST on Zn content distribution in the seawater of Blanakan coast. The Zn was measured from sampled seawater collected from 7 stations. Those stations were representing inshore and offshore of Blanakan coast. The sampled water then analyzed by AAS to obtain the Zn contents. The result confirms a positive effect of SST on Zn contents (r2 = 0.18). An increase of SST from 25 to 31 0C was followed by increase of Zn in seawater from 0.31 to 0.50 mg/l of water. Respectively, all Zn values in Blanakan coast have exceeded the permissible limit of EPA (0.09 mg/l for seawater). The effect of SST on the Zn contents is observed in the offshore rather than inshore water of Blanakan coast. This research also presents a 12 month Zn prediction. Following the SST fluctuation, it is predicted that Zn in seawater will be higher in February-May and lower in July-September.

Abstract
Chlorella vulgaris and Navicula salinicola have been reported to have high lipid content and are potential to be used as an alternative source of bioenergy precursor compounds. However, to obtain a high biomass and lipid with autotropic cultivation condition is still a challenge therefore other cultivation condition such as photoheterotropic need to be explored. In addition, the influence of cultivation conditions on the production of biomass and lipid for diatomic microalgae, especially Navicula salinicola, is still rare explored. This study aims to analyze the effect of organic carbon sources namely sugarcane addition on the production of biomass and lipid of Chlorella vulgaris and Navicula salinicola. Analysis of biomass concentrations is evaluated by measuring dry cell weight (DCW), while lipid concentrations is evaluated by measuring total lipid levels from the extraction results using the Folch method. Lipid concentrations is calculated based on total lipid levels and biomass concentration obtained. The profile of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) is analysed by using GC-MS. Based on the results of this study, it was observed that addition of sugarcane as an organic carbon source has increased the biomass production in Chlorella vulgaris and Navicula salinicola by 50.10% and 69.40% respectively than those are cultivated without the addition of sugarcane. Similarly, the addition of sugarcane has been showed to induced lipid accumulation in Chlorella vulgaris and Navicula salinicola by 34,45% and 25,51% respectively compared to those are cultivated with carbon source from the air. On the other hand, the addition of sugarcane as an organic carbon has decreased the variations of fatty acid in Chlorella vulgaris and Navicula salinicola by 3 and 4 types respectively than those are cultivated without the addition of sugarcane. The addition of sugarcane can suppress the variations of fatty acids in Chlorella vulgaris and Navicula salinicola but it stimulates the synthesis of palmitic acid (C16:0) which has potential to be applied to the biodiesel industry.

Abstract
Water contamination caused by dye industries, has caused more and more attention, since most dyes are harmful to human being and environments. Some dyes like methylene blue (MB) and their degradation products have carcinogens and toxic properties so that the removal of dyes from surface water or wastewater is very important. Physical adsorption using solid adsorbents has been a promising method for treating dyes, pigments and other colorant wastewater, owing to its advantages such as operational simplicity, low cost, availability in large amount and ability to treat pollutants in a sufficiently large scale operation. In this study, the sorption of MB from aqueous solution onto composite nanofiber under the influence of temperature has been investigated. It was observed that the amount of MB adsorbed increase with increasing temperature. Thermodynamic parameters data indicated that the MB adsorption process was non-spontaneous and endothermic under the experimental conditions, with the Gibbs free energy (?Go) in the range of 1.721-0.610 kJ mol-1, enthalpy (?Ho) and entropy (?So) of 7.24 kJ mol-1 and 18.52 J mol-1.K-1, respectively and the activation energy was 13.85 kJ mol-1.

Abstract
A reliable method of detecting tsunami generation in the ocean for effective tsunami early warning requires rapid and accurate tsunami-discriminant calculations, which include rupture duration (Tdur), the duration exceeds 50 seconds (T50ex), and the dominant period (Td) of first P-wave arrivals extracted from seismic signals induced by earthquakes of varying magnitudes. In this context, this study is thus aimed to analyze the effects of M-filter implemented on the existing Tsunami Early Warning Application (Ina-TEWA) performance in terms of accuracy in determining such discriminants. A method of real-time experiments was developed in this study, where tsunami parameters obtained before and after M-filter implementation were analyzed for the number of false warnings issued. A total of 300 Indonesian events striking regions throughout the country with a range of magnitudes from 5.0 to 7.9 during 2018-2019 years were examined. The results showed that prior to M-filter installation 15 of all cases considered were falsely issued, confirming for a total of 95% assessment being adequately accurate. However, accuracy in the Ina-TEWA performance was found to improve as false alerts reduce to zero when M-filter was introduced, implying a 100% level of accuracy. Hence, the use of M-filter in the Ina-TEWA makes its performance better, providing with reduction in false warnings and hence improved accuracy.

Abstract
Nowadays, 21st-century skill is being considered as one of the educational policies in some developed countries to be well-trained at schools. The science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education (STEM) provides a high opportunity in exercising this skill to students. According to the national Indonesian curricula, it can be found that the students commonly must follow many subjects of course scheduled by a public school with relatively-difficult content. Based on our investigation, the difficulties might be handled by applying the engineering course model. The class can be conducted separately as an independent subject such as the basic technology education, which is provided as a special subject in a private school, or an extracurricular activity of students- science forum for whom interested to this subject. To facilitate a well-scientific activity, the model of engineering curricula is needed especially to train the 21th-century skill. Thus, this work has reported the survey of STEM education activities implemented at some middle schools, the interviews to some teachers who are responsible to the science subject, and the analysis of science subject contents in Indonesian curricula 2013 for the middle school level.
