Abstract
Research in this area has been carried out a lot, but the research this time has its own uniqueness, where the use of IT in high school learning in Aceh province varies greatly. There are schools that prohibit students from accessing the internet on the grounds that they will have a negative impact on student behavior, but there are also schools that encourage students to use the internet as an additional source of reading. However, their learning outcomes have no significant difference. Based on some of these studies, it needs to be studied more deeply about the impact of internet usage on the learning outcomes of high school students, especially on Physics subjects. Research uses a quantitative approach, survey methods and data collection through documentation techniques and questionnaires. The target population of all high school students is in the city of Banda Aceh, but with a variety of considerations a sample of 31 students was taken randomly. Data processing is done by using product moment correlation test and the value is 0.2646 with a positive low category or there is no significant relationship between the use of the internet as a learning resource and student learning outcomes in physics subjects. Abstract
The inquiry model is one of the learning models that have the potential to train students high-level skills and thinking. These activities require good initial knowledge of students. An advance organizer is one strategy that can be used to overcome this problem. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the inquiry model with advanced organizers in improving students conceptual understanding. The research design used was a non-equivalent pretest and posttest group. The research subjects were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. Data were analyzed by N-gain test. The results showed that the understanding of the concept of the experimental group was better than the control group. Thus it can be concluded that the inquiry model combined with an advanced organizer is effective in increasing mastery of students physics concepts. In general, the increase in the experimental group was higher than the control group both in the cognitive aspects and in each sub-material.

Abstract
Introductory Nuclear Physics course is found in the curriculum of pre-service physics teachers in the Institute of Teachers Training at South Borneo. This research is carried out which aims to describe the implementation of the course and the perceptions and knowledge of nuclear physics for pre-service physics teachers. This research used a descriptive quantitative method. The research sample used purposive sampling which consist of 42 students on eighth semester and one lecturer of the course. Data was collected through documentation techniques, questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results of the investigation showed: (1) the course process was not interesting enough by the dominant lecture method of the course and teaching materials written by lecturers without using the latest research results; (2) pre-service physics teachers tend to have negative perceptions and their knowledge were only limited to the knowledge contained in teaching materials written by the lecturer. Therefore, improvements are needed in the course process to answer the challenges of negative nuclear effects through the Education for Sustainability Development (ESD) approach and utilize the latest research results.

Abstract
There are many challenges faced by some countries which lead them to revise their educational curriculum, including in Thailand. In Thailand, the revised of curriculum in science learning field with SEPs indirectly demands teachers to include High Order Thinking Skills in their teaching and learning as well as in assessment process. By concerning this phenomenon, this study was aimed at describing the realization of the cognitive levels from bloom taxonomy used by Physics teachers. Six classifications of the cognitive levels in bloom taxonomy were divided into two order thinking skills, namely Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) and High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). To achieve the aforementioned objectives, this study employed qualitative research design. Accordingly, the subjects of this study were a Physics teacher in Matthayom Siriwanwari II Songkhla Secondary School and students in two classes, covering matthayom 5th and matthayom 6th. As stated earlier, there were three types of analysis in this study, the analysis of level, the evaluation of level, and the creation of level. Besides, the reasons which interfered the teacher to use cognitive level of bloom taxonomy High Order Thinking Skills were also investigated. The results showed that according to the analysis of matthayom 5th and 6th physics final examination items the cognitive levels used were 0% of remembering, 3.3% of understanding, 33.3% of applying, 50% of analyzing, 3.3% of evaluating, and 3.3% of creating. Meanwhile, matthayom 6th had 0% of remembering, 0% of understanding, 25.7% of applying, 51.4% of analyzing, 5.7% of evaluating, and 17.1% of creating. By referring to these results, it is known that the physics test items used small portion of evaluating and creating aspects. Based on these findings, it is known that the portions of evaluating and creating aspects are still low. However, these results actually can be a starting point in fulfilling the demand of the revised curriculum by the ministry of education.

Abstract
Asphalt in Buton Island, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, has a large reserve amount of around 650 million tons. In Buton, asphalt is only used for road construction, but this asphalt has characteristics that can be utilized as a substance to produce crude oil. We study its characteristics to know the process of processing Buton asphalt into crude oil based on literature. Asphalt characteristics are studied from their physical properties and mineral content. Samples are taken in Kabungka (Winto mine), Lawele, and Sampolawa to compare their density. They are found that the density obtained from all samples is in the range of the literature and has the characteristics that approximate the characteristics of oil shale in the Green river, United States of America. It is expected that learning about Buton asphalt can expand the knowledge for students about the advantage of Buton asphalt as a natural resource and a source of learning.
