Abstract
Biodiversity still plays a very significant value in the era of fourth industrial revolution as one of the most important industries in this era is life science industry. This era also promotes bioeconomy in which the knowledge-based production and utilization of biological resources and processes considered as the main sources to provide goods and services in sustainable way. However, this biodiversity and knowledge related to it have been conserved and preserved by local communities from generation to generation in the biodiversity rich developing countries. Because of that, the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) provides legal basis for the acknowledgement of traditional knowledge related to biodiversity and Nagoya Protocol provides guideline to access and equitable benefit sharing from the use of biodiversity. This Article reviews case studies of access permit and equitable benefit sharing agreements in some selected countries for implementing of the CBD principles and Nagoya Protocol. The focus of this Article is to analyze whether access permit and equitable benefit sharing agreements in practices capable of empowering the economy of local communities. These case studies can be used as best practices for other countries particularly Indonesia on establishing access permit and benefit sharing agreements.

Abstract
The importance of renewable energy development is beneficial to the society, not only to reduce the amount of pollution, but also for sustainable economic development. However, despite the efforts of the government of Indonesia in optimizing renewable energy technologies, there are some key barriers that cause insufficient access to financing and investing in renewable energy projects due to high initial costs, especially for remote areas. Therefore, the alternative financing for financing renewable energy projects through Islamic finance, namely with zakat and green sukuk. One of the religious institutions isBadanAmil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS), with the Bank of Jambi, financed the development project of micro-power plant in power plant in Jambi Province. Once installed and revitalized, power plants will provide electricity for about 806 households, benefiting people and local businesses as well as public facilities. These projects demonstrate an example of alternative financing to finance renewable energy development projects as well as contributing to reducing development gaps in lagging regions in Indonesia

Abstract
The financial structure reflects how the companys assets are spent, thus the financial structure is reflected in the overall liability of the company. For companies that go public such as the Whole Sale And Retail Trade industry, the financial structure is important because the proportion of each source of funds will determine the companys cost of capital. The high value of Cost of Capital companies makes the company more at risk compared to companies with lower capital costs. Companies with high risk are less favored by investors in the capital market. Moreover, for retail companies, where most of their assets are in the form of receivables and inventory, the value depends on the permanence of the level of profitability of each company, so it is not so dependent on long-term debt financing and is more dependent on short-term financing, therefore to make optimal financial structure, management needs to know what factors influence it. The study aims to determine how the influence of asset structure, company size, ROI, operating leverage, sales growth and tax burden on the financial structure of the Whole Sale and Retail Trade industries that go public on the IDX. Firm size, ROI and sales growth have a significant effect on financial structure while asset structure, operating leverage and tax burden have no significant effect on the financial structure.

Abstract
Recently, the indicator of food security in Indonesia has improved not only seen by food availability but also food utilization. The household consumption pattern has shifted from carbohydrates to another nutrient included protein, even though the change is relatively small. One of the ways to the household to meet their needs for protein source food is from own-produced food. Households which have own-produced food will allocate their food crops especially when the price increased. This study aims to analyze the consumption pattern of high protein source food either from plants or animal source. It applies the Quadratic Almost Ideal Demand System (QUAIDS) to estimate households responsivity towards price and expenditure changes, especially for own-produced food commodities. The results reveal that when the price of animal protein increase, a household will shift to consume cheaper source from plant protein. The value of own-price elasticity was more inelastic in rural and poor households. This indicates that when there is a price increase, those households tend to consume from own-production food. It is also suggested that there is a role from the small-farming scale as a household strategy to improve their food security.

Abstract
The objectives of this research is to examine the role of environmental performance in the relation between carbon emissions disclosure and firm value. A measurement tool using content analysis method to measure carbon emissions disclosure that adopts a checklist developed based on a request sheet obtained from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Firm value is proxied with Tobins Q, while environmental performance is assessed based on the results of the environmental management performance appraisal program (PROPER) issued by the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Environment. Sample of this study are being chosen by using purposive sampling method, which obtain 43 companies that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2014 to 2018. Multiple analysis regression is used to test the hyphotesis. The results indicate the carbon emissions disclosure has a positive and significant effect on firm value. This research also found that there is an evidence that environmental performance positively influences the relation of carbon emissions disclosure to firm value. These results indicate that ratings in PROPER can be a guarantee whether the company has performed its environmental performance properly or not. Participating in the PROPER program is a form of corporate responsibility in an effort to reduce the impact of environmental damage arising from the companys operational activities. Environmental performance has been proven as moderating variable to the relationship between carbon emission disclosure and firm value.

This study aims to describe how the village innovation strategy was responded by village level policy makers. The Village innovation strategy aims to improve the quality of the use Village Fund which can encourage productivity and economic growth in rural areas as well as build sustainable village capacity to improve the socio-economic welfare of the community and the independence of the Village. With a case study approach, as a field research in the village in our local government we interviewed the District Innovation Team, the Village Innovation Implementation Team, experts appointed by the local government to develop village and village officials. In addition, we also conducted observations on village innovation data. We identified several challenges in the implementation of the village innovation strategy, namely the political element inherent in the village head which had an impact on the low willingness in village development, weak ideas or ideas that were implemented by village policy makers, lack of creativity in exploring village potential. In overcoming these challenges, the role of innovative behavior from policy makers at the village level is one of the main bases that must be embedded in the successful implementation of the strategy. With an exploration strategy approach, entrepreneurial strategies and open and collaborative approaches from various parties are also needed in the successful implementation of innovation strategies. The development of future research related to innovation strategies that are relevant to the characteristics of rural communities is still very much needed.

This paper analyses determinants of agricultural exports and imports from Indonesia, including demand and supply factors capturing effects of income, market size, prices, and variables related to logistics, competitiveness, trade policy, and innovation. Trade creation and diversion effects are estimated as Indonesia experienced a deep liberalization of markets. A gravity model is employed to analyze agricultural exports disaggregated into raw goods and food. The dataset comprises 50 countries from 2007 until 2017. The results find trade creation effects for both categories, with larger effects in exports within agricultural raw goods, and higher trade creation through imports in food. Indonesia also experience trade expansion with non-free trade partners suggesting that demand variables (e.g. income, market size, sophistication) is a more important driver of growth rather than agreements. Price factors affect agricultural goods, with food products experience elastic price demand, while raw goods being affected by prices and exchange rate. Gains in competitiveness, logistic performance, and innovation is supporting agricultural exports (imports as well). The implementation of the FTAs should be critically evaluated with respect to food products as imports have expanded more rapidly than exports and domestic goods may have experience pressure from liberalization.

Abstract
Decent quality of air plays an important role to support all creatures life. This study examined the impact of foreign investment and the consumption of renewable energy supplies on the air quality in eight ASEAN countries over the period from 2005-2014. This research is a quantitative research that applies panel regression model. The selected random effect model shows, foreign investments affect the quality of air significantly as more investments will lead to more economic activities, thus increasing the consumptions of energy and the level of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions. Further, the use of renewable energy will reduce CO2 emissions. The governments have to support the development of renewable energies and put smart policies to facilitate their development in the economy.
