Abstract
The teaching of science has traditionally focused on cognitive factors. However, it shows many glitches of teaching, which is necessary to adapt new instruction methodology to examine affective factors for the science education. This research presents to examine the affective dimension of students based on influence of their curricula background and teaching methodology while learning science in an undergraduate program. During 2015/16 course, the study was performed in a general science course at the Teaching Training School of the University of Extremadura (Spain). A total of 126 students contributed for the study proposed and the classroom was divided into a traditional and flipped group. In the traditional group, a traditional-teaching methodology was performed. For the flipped group, a “flipped classroom” setting was followed. In both groups, students enrolled to the course suggested from dissimilar curricula background, that is, science, social sciences, arts and technology background. According to the results, the students- curricula background and teaching methodology have a significant influence in their affective dimension. Students participated in the flipped group exposed less negative and more positive emotions in the learning process. These affective dimensions were more noteworthy in the not-scientific background students as their curricula background. These results are particularly relevant because the not-scientific background students are usually facing more difficulties in learning science as the bigger group in the course proposed.

Abstract
Research in this area has been carried out a lot, but the research this time has its own uniqueness, where the use of IT in high school learning in Aceh province varies greatly. There are schools that prohibit students from accessing the internet on the grounds that they will have a negative impact on student behavior, but there are also schools that encourage students to use the internet as an additional source of reading. However, their learning outcomes have no significant difference. Based on some of these studies, it needs to be studied more deeply about the impact of internet usage on the learning outcomes of high school students, especially on Physics subjects. Research uses a quantitative approach, survey methods and data collection through documentation techniques and questionnaires. The target population of all high school students is in the city of Banda Aceh, but with a variety of considerations a sample of 31 students was taken randomly. Data processing is done by using product moment correlation test and the value is 0.2646 with a positive low category or there is no significant relationship between the use of the internet as a learning resource and student learning outcomes in physics subjects. Inference from the results of research, teachers are encouraged to motivate students to use IT in learning while still controlling their use

Abstract
The inquiry model is one of the learning models that have the potential to train students high-level skills and thinking. These activities require good initial knowledge of students. An advance organizer is one strategy that can be used to overcome this problem. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the inquiry model with advanced organizers in improving students conceptual understanding. The research design used was a non-equivalent pretest and posttest group. The research subjects were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. Data were analyzed by N-gain test. The results showed that the understanding of the concept of the experimental group was better than the control group. Thus it can be concluded that the inquiry model combined with an advanced organizer is effective in increasing mastery of students physics concepts. In general, the increase in the experimental group was higher than the control group both in the cognitive aspects and in each sub-material.

Abstract
This research is motivated by concerns about the low achievement of students spiritual competencies, even in Islamic schools. One of the reasons is the limited availability of teaching materials that can help teachers to associate science subject towards Islamic values. Even though, teaching materials are an important part to determine the success of the learning process. In Islamic schools, teachers are required to internalize Islamic values into the subject, including in chemistry. Unfortunately, not all teachers understand the process of internalization in any chemical material taught. One of them is the buffer solution material. The aim of this research is to examine the process of internalization of Islam into buffer solutions teaching materials. The analytical method in this paper is based on scientific integration between general science and religious science (non-dichotomic). Internalization of Islam in buffer solution teaching materials conducted by including the verses of Quran and hadith that are related and strengthening the material in the form of case studies of the phenomenon of buffer solutions in everyday life and doing exercise. Based on the research, teachers and students gave a positive response to the procurement of teaching materials which internalized in Islamic values.

Abstract
Multiple representation is a method of learning that can be used by teachers to enhance students- thinking skills. The research has been conducted descriptively to explore the effectiveness of the implementation of multiple representation methods in science learning. The learning was carried out at a secondary school on respiratory system topics. The effectiveness of learning was studied from the perspective of student activities, students ability to represent concepts, and its impact on students reasoning skills. The results shows that always activating and bringing students closer with a variety of representations made students become experts to use various methods such as graphics, visual images, tables, and chemical reaction in explaining concepts. Almost all students give at least two types of representation in answering the test. On using Toulmins- Argument, it was also found the increase of students- reasoning skills from all of levels. The decrease in the percentage of students who were at level 1 in reasoning skills is followed by an increase in the percentage of students in the level 2 category. Some students showed the increase of their ability to level 3. Moreover, the quality of argument shifted from the domination of weak arguments to domination of strong arguments.
