Abstract
Abstract. Mathematical material and mathematical thinking abilities are two things that are constantly evolving, that is, between mathematical material understood through mathematical thinking skills possessed by students need to be further developed through learning mathematical and mathematical material that continues to grow more widely. Therefore, in mathematics learning it is necessary to develop AMT students abilities. This meta-analysis uses the results of experimental studies regarding the effect of learning strategies on students AMT abilities. Of the ten research reports, 18 research findings were obtained which were then the subject of this study. This meta-analysis aims to determine the overall effect of learning strategies on students AMT abilities, as well as the effect of the three aspects found in these experiments, namely the level of education, tools/learning media, and the types of strategies used. The results of the analysis show that learning strategies are effective in improving the ability of AMT students, with the effect of the greatest influence based on the type of learning strategy that is cooperative. Other findings indicate that the learning strategy at the senior secondary level is more effective. Whereas based on learning aids/media it can be seen that student worksheets are more influential.

Abstract
This paper reports an investigation of students understanding of distributive law used to facilitate students awareness of equations is an equivalent expression where each equation can be replaced by an equivalent equation. A total of 53 students from one secondary school were randomly selected to participate in the study using this cross-sectional approach. The results of the study indicate that the use of operation sense of students in understanding distributive law can be grouped into three levels where level 2 is the transition stage (i.e a pre-algebraic stage) from level 1 to level 3. Students who have been proficient in using distributive law in arithmetic, still have difficulty in applying it to algebraic manipulation. One of the causes of this difficulty is the lack of students understanding of the same sign as a sign of equality. In addition, the absence of parentheses also seems to be a stumbling block for students in recognizing distributive law. The reason for expanding the notion of the same sign by using distributive traits is to provide a foundation for their operation sense construction so as to provide further meaning for equations in algebra and minimize student difficulties in learning school algebra.

Abstract
Abstract This research originated from the concern of researchers looking at the activities of students in schools that still use plastic during snacks in the school canteen. Excessive consumption of plastic results in a large amount of plastic waste. Because plastic is not derived from biological compounds, plastic has properties that are difficult to degrade (non-biodegradable). Plastic waste has a negative impact on the natural environment, which most people use as a means of fulfilling their daily needs. Seeing these conditions, it is necessary to have a learning that can foster the ecological awareness or ecoliteracy of students by utilizing nature which in this case is the oen iboh plant (iboh leaf) which is used as a container for food and snacks for students in the school canteen. Efforts to improve the ecoliteracy of students through the use of surrounding natural resources as a source of learning in Science learning in grade IV SD IT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh. The researcher wanted to find out the parents response to the activities of students in the school in the utilization of natural resources for increasing ecoliteracy. From the results of preliminary observations carried out on Science learning activities in class IV SD IT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were parents of fourth grade students of SD IT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh. Sources of research data are: (1) written sources, (2) oral sources, (3) documents, and (4) records. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The process of data analysis research is carried out with qualitative descriptive techniques. Abstract
Abstract. Dynamic assessments (DA) had been widely used in language and mathematics learning, but its use in science learning is still limited. One difficulty faced by students in science learning is the sheer number of abstract concepts. This literature review was aimed to find out the prospect of DA in science learning to improve students- understanding of abstract scientific concepts. This study analyzed various learning topics used with DA, the types of DA instruments, and procedures to train students- conceptual understanding. The PRISMA was used as the research method. The results showed the DA has been used in learning ecology, biology, atmosphere and water, evolution, and classification, photosynthesis, and weather and climate. It showed DA can improve students- conceptual understanding. Implementing DA in the learning process can be done by providing additional explanations or training to students. The types of instruments for DA were varied, such as tests, questionnaires, and interviews with semi-structural forms. We recommend the usage of DA to improve student understanding regarding abstract science concepts, especially biology.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the potential of interactive simulations of ionic liquids as electrolyte redox in dye-sensitized solar cells in building the understanding of pre-service chemistry teacher students on nature of science and technology (NOST), with aspects: (1) characteristics of science and technology; (2) the purpose of scientific and scientific research; (3) characteristics of scientific knowledge and scientific theory; (4) how to acquire scientific knowledge and scientific theory; and (5) the relationship between science and technology. This study used a descriptive method, which involved 20 students from a population of 70 students from one of the State Universities in Mataram City, Indonesia. This study used the NOST questionnaire instrument. The views on aspects of NOST are classified into Realistic, Has Merit and Naive. The result shows that the number of students with Realistic views increased and the views of has merit and naive decreased in every aspect of NOST after using interactive simulations. This shows that this interactive simulation has the potential to build an understanding of pre-service chemistry teachers about NOST. The implications of the results of this study can be used to support the learning process in NOST oriented pre-service chemistry teacher education.

Abstract
This study examines pre-service chemistry teachers- understanding of concepts related to ionic liquids as cellulose solvents which include knowledge of cellulose, ionic compounds, and ionic liquids. This study used a descriptive method and involved 35 pre-service chemistry teachers from 6th semester who enrolled in the High School Chemistry unit. The research instruments of an open-ended questions which related to the concepts of ionic compounds, ionic liquids and cellulose. The results show that pre-service chemistry teachers have limited conceptions about of the concepts related to the dissolution of cellulose in ionic liquids. Based on the analysis of student answers to open-ended questions, students- conceptions about definition of cellulose are quite good, but student have no sufficient knowledge about the structure and benefits of cellulose. Furthermore, students- conceptions related to ionic compounds and ionic liquids are not good enough because student have not been able to mention the differences between ionic compounds and ionic liquids based on the structure, properties, and the constituent particles. This is because ionic liquids as cellulose solvents and the concepts related are not taught directly in the classroom so that it becomes an unfamiliar concept to student.

Abstract
This research aims to investigate the views of pre-service chemistry teachers about the nature of science and technology. The research was conducted using a descriptive method with the participants consisted of 28 students on sixth semester and 23 students on eighth semester of Lampung University. Data were collected using the views on the nature of science and technology (VNOST) questionnaire consisting of 4 aspects: Definition of science and technology, Epistemology of science, Sociology of Internal science, and external sociology of science. The results of this study showed that pre-service teachers define science as a concepts and technology as the application of science. In the epistemological of science, they view scientific models as original objects and there are many ways to calcify. In the internal sociology of science, scientific decisions based on previous theories and technological decisions based on their impact on society. For the external sociology of science, pre-sevice teachers- being in agreement with science-technology-society affect each other and are affected by each other. In general, the results also revealed that a vast majority of them have has merit views. The results will be used as a basis for developing VNOST-oriented chemistry teacher education.

Abstract
. Students of prospective mathematics teachers often design mathematical test instruments based on the questions contained in the mathematics textbook. The question can be modified or directly using the existing problem. This certainly does not train students creativity in designing mathematical test instruments, especially about applications in the social, economic and environmental fields. This study aims to analyze the creativity of prospective mathematics teachers in designing mathematical test instruments. This research was carried out qualitatively a type of phenomenology with 5 respondents namely students of prospective mathematics teachers. Based on the results of in-depth interviews and documentation of mathematical test instrument designs by prospective mathematics teacher students, the results showed that prospective mathematics teacher students had difficulty in designing application problems in the environmental field. This is because students are not used to designing application questions. For social and economic aspects, some students are able to design the problem but the problems given are limited to using examples in the social and economic fields without incorporating elements of character values in them.

Abstract
This research aims to find out the pre-service teacher-s physics attitude towards physics laboratory in one of the Universities in Aceh. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used a scale questionnaire that was adapted from several previous researchers. The Subject of this study is 45 physics student prospective students were taken from the semester, II, IV, and IV as subjects of the study. The data analysis technique is done by calculating the mean of each aspect and indicator and the independent t-test to see differences in attitudes based on gender. Overall, the results of the study showed a negative attitude towards physical practicum activities with the acquisition of a mean of 2.78. The statistical test results for normally distributed and homogeneous data show no significant differences (df. 43, sig. 0.90> 0.04) between the attitudes of male and female students. Negative attitudes towards physics laboratory are caused by the design of practicum verification that do not provide benefits to improve understanding, practice scientific inquiry skills, thinking skills, and solving physics problems. Efforts to improve attitudes toward physics practicum can be done through the design of practical activities oriented to humanistic psychology and constructivism by involving students actively investigating. It is expected that the physics study lecturers to evaluate the practicum program not only suppress the understanding of concepts, but the skills aspects of conducting scientific investigations and attitudes also need to be provided to students through practical activities.
