This research method is quasi-experimental with pretest post-test control group design. Where sample of this research was taken by using cluster random sampling method. The research population is all PGSD students who enrolled in English courses consisting of nine classes, totaling 311 people. The research sample consisted of two classes, one class applying ICT-based learning and another class using conventional learning, each class has 38 students . The average pretest of the experimental class was 39.41 and the control class was 41.25. Based on the results of the t-test obtained the initial English ability of the two classes the same. The average posttest experimental class is 75.86 and the control class is 66.38. Based on the results of the t-test obtained English learning outcomes of the two classes are significantly different, in other words there is an influence of the application of ICT-based learning on English learning outcomes. Abstract
The development of education is strongly influenced by global factors. This global development has a serious impact on the quality of education graduates. Many standards emerge to meet these demands. This responsibility rests with the university, especially the university which produces graduate teacher candidates. Universitas Negeri Padang is one of the Indonesian universities in charge of this. Researches are conducted in order to produce learning innovations, one of which is our research. We have researched classes to improve the teaching abilities of prospective teachers in the Biology Department, Universitas Negeri Padang. We use a modified Jigsaw learning model. This research uses quantitative observation methods for students who take Biology Instructional Methodology course. Our results were tabulated on average. We collected the initial value before giving treatment. The final score is 84.7 with very good criteria. The results of this study indicate that the Jigsaw learning model that we modified can improve teaching abilities for prospective teacher students in the Biology Department, Universitas Negeri Padang. This research contributes to increase knowledge and continue to improve the quality of learning in the future.

Abstract
The aim of this research is to measure and determine the level of general inflation then calculate and determine the duration needed to diminish to the natural level. The variable in this research is general inflation in North Sumatera Province from 2007 to 2017. The method used is the model of autoregressive time series. Based on the results of the research using Eviews 6, the data showed that persistence of general inflation in Central Java is high, it is 0.85. As well as the time required to diminish the inflation back to natural level requires long time, they are 6 months. The suggestion from this study are expected through Inflation Control Team Regional (TPID) make some kind of policy that could control the inflation of foodstuffs in order to effect the shock can be anticipated that by making the traffic production and distribution of specialty food commodity linked per regency of North Sumatera province. To anticipate the effects of shock as a result of extreme weather may cooperate with the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in monitoring and weather forecasting as an ingredient of the policy formulation
