Abstract
The internal quality assurance system (SPMI) of the secondary education unit is a quality assurance system that all components in the education unit should implement. SPMI in private Islamic high schools needs to be studied and resolved so that the quality of the process as well as the learning outcomes of students can be equivalent to other schools. This research is aimed to figure out the understanding of Islamic schoool staffs concernng internal quality assurance system, the programs implemented, and the constraints faced. The subjects of this research are teachers, principals, and administration staffs. This research implemented a qualitative approach as its research design. Data were collected through document analysis, questionnaires, and interviews with participants such as, teachers, principals, and administration staffs. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative approach, employng the stages of data collection, data analysis preparation, thorough reading, encoding data, encoding text for descriptions and themes used in research reports. The results of the study claimed that the teaching staffs and administration staffs as a whole did not fully understand the SPMI of the secondary education unit. Equally important, the quality assurance programs have not been well organized regarding SPMI to be able to meet the education standards. The main issue occurred in private Islamic high schools was that all school members did neither have a good understanding of SPMI nor a good quality assurance team. Consequently, school programs did not lead to gradual quality improvement to achieve and exceed national education standards. Both sampling schools were in urgent necessity to be given understanding and guidance related to the stages of improving school quality in accordance with the schools vision and mission as well as national education standards. As an initial step, private Islamic high schools need to establish SPMI that is in accordance with the requirements in order to improve the quality of administrative and learning processes.

Abstract
This research is to analyze the implementation of the waste bank policies in Manado City. The method used is descriptive by discussing qualitatively and approved by three research focuses, namely first collecting waste management programs in Manado city, secondly analyzing community participation in waste bank development programs and studying the factors that become obstacles and supporters in developing waste banks in Manado City . The first research results related to waste management programs containing various programs. For waste banks, it is one of the alternative solutions to waste problems in the city of Manado. Both developing community participation are still in consultation not yet in community control. Community participation consists of sorting household waste containing organic inorganic waste. The third is a supporting factor in the development of waste banks in the city of Manado, namely the role of local government as well as state-owned private companies as supporters of the implementation of the waste bank program. As for inhibiting factors such as low society, the development of waste banks requires high investment, low value of waste, and the culture of manado who pay attention to waste as a dirty thing.

Abstract
Todays generation is very close to technology and intensively spending more time with gadgets. Gadgets never get out of their hands. This fact has serious impact on the lack of interest in learning by means of conventional methods. For final year students, tutoring seems to have become mandatory before taking part in the National Examination. Apparently the learning system in tutorial meets the needs of students. This paper aims at reviewing the application of online tutorial system Ruangguru using descriptive method. It found out that in the disruption era of our times, Ruangguru presents itself as one of the responses to the needs of the current generation. Online tutoring with methods that have been adapted to technological advances and market needs is one form of reconceptualization of education in the era of disruption. It is expected that online tutoring does not depart from the values or substance of formal education which has components called learning concepts that support the successful implementation of education.

Abstract
Reduced employment due to the rapid development of technology requires responsive vocational education in adjusting the required competency of graduates. Collaboration between vocational and industrial schools in the form of link and match is the right solution. This research was conducted to describe the availability of Agro-industry vocational schools with relevant food industries based on the regional potential to reduce the gap in graduate competency. The method used is descriptive qualitative. 47 Agro-industry vocational schools spread in 14 regencies in West Java. Around 120 food industries that are relevant to vocational competence are spread in 15 districts.. The low percentage of availability of Agro-industry vocational schools and the food industry is not aligned with the potential of the region that has been established. The availability of vocational schools and relevant industries based on location provides opportunities for vocational schools to collaborate and implement link and match programs. Synchronization of the expertise areas of vocational schools with superior potential areas in each province needs to be identified

Abstract
This paper discusses the relevance of social interaction and student communication theories with a culture inherent to the students personal. An idealism born from an early culture affects how communication and interaction of one person is. The problems in cultural bias that arise in student interaction and communication are a major concern in seeing how the early cultural roles of the globalization era still affect ones interactions and communication. This paper helps us understand how cultures that are owned on self-counsellors influence the concept of problem solving in the counseling process. The arguments that support these aspects of cultural theory will be explained through the three concepts of a comparative study approach, namely communication in cross-cultural counseling, culture in the organization, and assimilation of cultural/cultural constructions.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the encounter of Christian Education values in the Minahasa Indigenous community in the rumamba tradition. An important issue for indigenous peoples in Minahasa in this disturbing era is how to dialogue Minahasa culture with Christian education values. Does mixing Minahasa customs with Christianity bring contextual education values or are they the opposite? Even though the Minahasa area is familiar with the meeting between Christian culture and religion, are these cultures able to show their identity or are they losing time? Can local Minahasa culture coexist with the existence of Christian education in an educational and community environment? This study uses the religious theory from Daniel Pals and the contextual Christian education theory from Hope Antone. This study uses a qualitative approach with methods of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results show that Christian education can coexist contextually with the Minahasa community and culture in a dialogical approach that takes place in formal and informal public spaces.

Abstract
Apologies are the most fundamental strategies for remedying offences and reflecting the degree of the speaker-s politeness. However, Arabic textbooks in boarding schools in Indonesia lack of materials that are very required to help students to develop their pragmatic competence of the apology speech acts in Arabic. This study assumes to investigate, explicitly, the language of the students- apologizing in boarding schools in Indonesia and enhancing the students- pragmatic competence in a non-native language; Arabic. Two-hundred one informants were chosen purposively; one-hundred and one male participants and one-hundred and one female participants. Informants were assigned to fill in a Discourse Completion Task (DCT) questionnaire consists of eight situations about the boarding school rules. The findings showed that the boarding school students employed apology strategies that are vary from the Arabic standards of apologizing to some extent. The students overused the head act strategy expression of regret. In other words, the students overused the expressions afwan and asif to remedy light and serious offences. These two expressions are used by Arabs to remedy light offences only. The students believe that the apology strategies are universal so they transfer directly, the Head Act strategies in particular, from L1 into L2. Thus, in order to enhance the BSS-s realization of the speech acts of apologizing in Arabic, it is a requisite to develop the current textbooks that may develop their pragmatic knowledge.
