Abstract
The Age of Globalization has led to uniformity on the image of the city. The ubiquitous “modern” glass and steel building with air conditioning has dissociated the local climate and cultural context. Kenneth Frampton, with his postulate of Critical Regionalism, saw this phenomenon as the destruction of the creative nucleus of a great civilization and great culture. Postcolonial countries, like Indonesia which inherit colonial cities, facing issues to define their identity, namely in terms of performing Tropical Architecture principles and how to enforce it institutionally. The architectural design of the private building has been seen as a private domain that cannot be regulated, thus the owner needs to present themselves through their building as a "modern and progressive" company cannot be restricted. This paper tries to examine how urban planning can help to actualize modern tropical city images by implement supporting regulations. A qualitative approach with stakeholder analysis is conducted to seek the opportunity to implement design control by a municipal government that met with the building owner-s interest. A case study of Landscaping for Urban Spaces and High-Rises (LUSH) Programme from Singapore-s Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) also studied to learn the success story. The result is that a design control, to achieve a more contextual approach in architecture design practice, could be performed in the building permit application process by zoning regulations technique with incentive and bonus schemes.

Abstract
Increasing human activity leads to increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, especially carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) that impact climate change and global warming. This condition encourages the occurrence of weather anomaly phenomena in the atmosphere such as rainfall fluctuations, dryness, increase in air temperature and sea-level rise. Sea-level rise was a potency of seawater inundation that gave an impact on land degradation. The study aimed to determine sea-level rise used three variables of disaster with two cumulative scenarios. The toward step used the simulation using a raster calculator in ArcGIS 10.2 to analyze the impact of sea-level rise to inundation disaster. The results showed that the sea-level rise on the South Coast of Yogyakarta based on (1) Scenario 1A (existing) were 1.4457 m (the prediction year 2030) and 2.0827 m (the prediction year 2050). According to the scenario (2) 1B (extreme) is 1.6297 m (the prediction year 2030) and 2.2667 m (the prediction year 2050). The increase in the sea-level rise on the south coast of Yogyakarta provides a disaster effect of inundation in the area directly dealing the beach and near the river mouth for example in Bantul Regency and Kulon Progo Regency.

Abstract
The practice of accounting for sustainability of village government in Indonesia is still rare. This is due to several factors, including the absence of definitive sustainability accounting reporting standards from professional associations, the central government and local governments. In addition, the current report format still relates to the realization of the village budget and income (APBDesa). Village government as the lowest level of government organization is very possible to practice sustainability accounting. This is because the condition is supported by existing programs for government, for welfare and for services that directly in line with the community. The purpose of this research is to explore the use of performance information in sustainability accounting in village government programs. A qualitative research approach with multi case studies was carried out to explore the use of performance information data in sustainability accounting in three village governments. Results show that village government, which has a clear strategic planning, implements sustainability accounting through their programs and activities following its vision and missions, such as forestation at the areas of business, environment, and social to maintain supply chain management. Even though there is not standard for sustainability reporting yet in Indonesia; however the existing information on economic, environment, and social performance help village government much in implementing sustainability practices. In short, sustainability accounting can work to the organization with clear attribute qualitative information of sustainability accounting. It can be seen from the organizational performance as well.

Abstract
The ruin of Matapena Community as a community for pesantren literature activist in 2014 does not end the reproduction of pesantren literature with its pesantren cultural problems as a spiritual journey in planting self-identity in alternative medias with popular genres. This article discusses discoursive contestation of self-identity in two pesantren literary works; Sensei, Assalamualaikum Desu! by Diyana Millah Islami and Menggapai Kosong by Izzul Muttaqin. Construction of Self-identity in the literary works engages to the contestation of self-identity discourse in the real world and the cyber world of the writers as milenial generations. Through theory of representation by Stuart Hall, I choose consructionist approach with Foucauldian discoursive model to analyze the works. The result shows an overlapping of in-between-ess as an absolute ideological negotiation of religion with the open-ness of the millenial gen that limitless in time and space. Technology and latecapitalism facilitate the fluidity of time and space boundary presented in the easthetic works.

Abstract
This paper discusses the ellipses of nominal phrases that are assumed to be in the compound sentences of Malay-Indonesian. These phenomena of the ellipses have long been questioned by the Dutch and Japanese scholars since the 19th century but todays Malay-Indonesian grammar textbooks do not show the positive effect of referring to the fruits of their studies. We often found a similar explanation in Malay-Indonesian grammar books that does not fit at all the phenomena and the facts of the ellipses of nominal phrases in its compound sentences. This means that contemporary scholars (including native speakers) do not stare at the facts of Malay-Indonesian because they only follow the English grammar blindly. It proved that these patterns of the ellipses of nominal phrases involve the problems of the grammatical voice of Malay-Indonesian verbs that have been raised since the 19th century. By analyzing the phenomena of the so-called the ellipses of nominal phrases in this language, we present here a hypothesis that the predicate verb in the following clause focuses on the lexical information of a nominal phrase that it refers to in the preceding clause of a compound sentence.

Abstract
The starting point of this article is that the extinction of a particular language will lead to simultenuous loss of various forms of its cultural heritage, especially with regard to the loss of both traditional heritage and oral expressions of its native speakers. Native Papuans are those from the Melanesian race speaking native languages in the Province of West Papua – the ones living in a physical ecology of mostly island clusters, black, and spread throughout the region. In line with current language policy to preserve local languages in Indonesia, it is important to provide valid data on local languages in Indonesia. The findings of the investigation on the local languages in the Province of West Papua are as follows. The local languages in the province can be divided into four language groups: (1) The phylum of Austronesia; (2) the phylum of West Papua; (3) the phylum of the Birds Head of Papua; and (4) The phylum of Trans- West Papua. Those four groups can fall into another two categories of Austronesian and Non-Austronesian. Based on the characteristics of the social environment of the languages, most native languages in the Province of West Papua can be categorized as those having less than 1,000 speakers. Languages having less than 500 speakers are endangered as they are close to extinction. Language codification in the West Papua are based on: (1) the typology of language ecolology; (2) Summer Institut of Linguistics (SIL) database; (3) The Republic of Indonesia-s Language Development and Fostering Agency database.

A culture is a process of human learning in meeting the needs of life. It is a human cultivation effort towards the advancement of civilization that unites the whole nation. The richness of Dayak art culture is one of the national assets that can strengthen the identity of Indonesia as a nation of Unity in Diversity. It is not only the beauty of architectural forms that are interesting objects of study, but also the philosophical values that lie behind them. Longhouses or also called lou in the Dayak Benuaq language, represents the reality of the traditional cultural values of the Dayak Benuaq community in the past. The unity between home and culture is manifested in the form of an architecture which is integrated with all the activities of human life that live in it. This reality serves as the background of this research. The objective of this research is to discover the intrinsic meaning based on the cultural wisdom of traditional Dayak Benuaq house by using the iconological approach of analysis. Findings reveal that the Dayak Benuaq longhouse contains concepts about the relationship of family life, peace and harmony within the community. In addition, it also contains harmony between common interests based on religious-magical cosmology that considers every resident to have the same value, position and rights in the community. The longhouse also strengthen unity in economic activities that are closely related to the food sources provided by the natural surroundings.
