Abstract
This study explores the farmer-s contract of rice field cultivation at Legundi village, Karangjati District, Ngawi Regency. The subjects of the study are internally and externally interconnected. Internally, this study involves owners, farmers, and laborers, who are contracting the rice field cultivation. Meanwhile, it externally includes groups of farmers and markets (tengkulak). Using qualitative design with descriptive of economics type, the researcher infers that from the contract identification result seen in institutional perspective, internally, there are rice field owners as the principal, farmers as the principle/agents, and the agricultural labor as the agent. Moreover, externally, there are groups of farmers and markets (tengkulak) as the principles. Accordingly, based on sharia perspective, there are forms of ijarah (rent) cooperation and mukhabarah (profit sharing). The result of contract analysis, on the other hand, found out that there was a problem of asymmetric information and moral hazard suspected from institutional perspective due to an incomplete contract. Meanwhile, from the perspective of sharia, there was a problem which was suspected not related to the principles of sharia because of the lack of understanding about fiqh muamalah.

Abstract
Pereskia bleo (Kunt) DC is a leafy cactus species traditionally used by locals in Malaysia for treatments of various ailments known to be due to its high total phenolic content (TPC). There are a number of procedures in extracting TPC from plant materials. This paper reports a study conducted on maximizing microwave-assisted extraction of TPC, expressed as gallic acid equivalent (GAE), from leaves of the species using one variable at a time method (OVAT). The study establishes that the best solvent for extraction of TPC from leaves was ethanol with concentrations ranging from 20-40%. Solvent to solid ratio was set at 1:30. The best extraction time and microwave power to obtain high yield of TPC ranged from 30 to 60 seconds and from 40W to 50W, respectively. The study presents a simple and efficient non-conventional method of extraction of TPC from Pereskia bleo simplifying extraction procedure in an attempt at exploiting the potentials of the species as a source novel therapeutic agent. In the future, anti-inflammatory activities of Pereskia bleo will be investigated and the preliminary study on the extracts is for future halal and organic formulation.

Abstract
In order to optimize the extraction of antioxidant components from Actinodaphne sesquipedalis leaves, an investigation into the effects of three parameters on DPPH free radical scavenging activity of extracts was studied. Response surface methodology (RSM) was applied to predict optimum conditions for microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) of antioxidative components from A. sesquipedalis leaves. Thus, the objective of this present study was to optimize the extraction condition for the maximum DPPH radical scavenging activity. A Central Composite design was employed to determine the effects of the selected variables, comprising extraction time (20-80 sec), power level (30-60 watt) and ethanol concentration (30-90 %) on the DPPH scavenging activities. Data were analyzed by using Design Expert (version 10.0.1, Stat-Ease, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA) statistical analysis software. The optimal extraction conditions for the highest antioxidant capacity were derived at 90 seconds of extraction time, 30 watt of power level and 80 % ethanol concentration that resulted in 92.62 % of scavenging activity. Estimated maximum value at predicted optimum conditions were in good agreement with experimental value. Further research is warranted to investigate the antioxidant activities of A. sesquipedalis leaves extract and their mechanism of action as a basis for future formulation of halal.

Public relations (PR) are nothing new to the present day global community. In fact, mankind had begun to exercise PR since the day we first decided to live together. Since then, an essential beacon of wisdom in the history of mankind was planted. The birth of the modern PR began in 1948 when the Public Relations Society of America and the Institute of Public Relations in Britain came into existence. Today, the influence of this communication field has engulfed almost all professions of global organizations. Majority of these organizations apply the public relations principles and practices into their organizational structures. This paper began with the historical backgrounds of the international PR culture, studies, and definitions. From there, the discussion penetrated deeper into the realm of Malaysian PR culture. These areas dealt with many aspects of the PR, i.e. professional ethics, social and legal contracts. These efforts are in the purpose of giving a considerable share of opinions on how understandings upon the Malaysian PR culture differ in many dimensions of definitions and practices. At the end of this paper, readers are presented with contemporary threats and challenges of the field. This concept paper dealt with the past, the present, and the future uncertainties of the PR field. Whether we are aware or not, PR today has been put to a maximum use for managing social stress in facing globalization. Yet, the forces of tolerance and brotherhood grant the country confidence in facing any challenges and threats in a near future. Indeed, the world of global PR is changing inconsiderately. Come what may, Malaysian chose to brave up a journey of her own in the field of public relations uncertainties.

Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to evaluate whether ethanol concentrations (20-95% v/v), extraction time (30-240 min) and extraction temperature (20-80℃) will affect the antioxidative polyphenols extraction utilising one variable at a time (OVAT) method. Total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC) were used to determine the polyphenolic amount while 2,2-Diphenyl -1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity was used for evaluating the primary antioxidant capacity of red pitaya defatted seed (RPDS). All various extracting conditions studied showed a significant effect at p < 0.05 on the amount of phenolic and antioxidant activity. The optimise conditions determined for extracting phenolic RPDS were 80% ethanol for 60 min at 80 ℃, which correspond to the value of 104.76 mg GAE/g sample for TPC, 10.76 mg QE/g sample for TFC with 89.36% inhibition of DPPH radical. This study suggests that RPDS extract have the potential to be utilised as halal and natural antioxidants agent in the future product formulation.

Abstract
In the face of the public, having certain types of influence is perceived to may help practitioners and even ordinary employees to draw the people-s attention into believing the news or story which spreads to serve any particular purpose. However, it is believed that previous researchers are yet to develop a set of items that can help to interpret the role of influence and power dimension among employees. This study aims to identify the key factors that can help to affirm the suitability of a set of items namely Influence Resources Scale (IRS). A total of 187 respondents consisting of school teachers in Kelantan had voluntarily participated in providing feedbacks towards the Influence Resources Scale (IRS). The completed questionnaires were analysed in the exploratory factor analysis procedure to identify the role of influence and power dimension among employees. A principal component analysis procedure along with the varimax rotation was conducted. The factors generated from the procedure are: Relational: Internal, Informational: Access to Information, Individual: Skills and Individual: Professional. The study concludes that the four –factors derived from principal component analysis with varimax rotation can help to assess the role of Influence Resources among Teachers in Kelantan, Malaysia. The study also suggests that the IRS scale can be replicated to other local and Asian respondents as a predicting factor towards additional variables such as gossip engagement and individual work performance.

Abstract
Local production of agricultural waste is increasing. It is not fully utilized and can cause an environmental issue if it is not handle wisely. Thus, it is important to increase utilization of lignocellulosic biomass by improving their added value and subsequently decrease the agriculture waste. In this study, rice straw and Leucaena leucocephala were subjected to alkali treatment (4% sodium hydroxide) such with different concentration ratio of sampel to sodium hydroxide (1:10 to 1:50). The physical and chemical properties of extracted hemicelluloses were studied. The yield of hemicellulose was higher from rice straw compared to Leucaena l.. The chemical functional groups present in hemicellulose were confirmed by Fourier tranform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The surface morphology and roughnesses of xylan were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Abstract
The hybrid contract concept emerges as a finding of innovation of Islamic banking products to fulfill the needs of banking transactions in sharia banks. A transaction in a financial institution must not be separated from a set of financial statements in the accounting system. As a Sharia-operated bank, it must apply the concept of sharia accounting, including in accounting records of hybrid contract transactions. Using the qualitative method of hermeneutic phenomenology, this study concludes that in practice, the accounting records at the beginning of the transactions of mura> bah wakalah wilalah is directly on the ownership of the assets of mura> bah} ah by the bank. Whereas, before the asset belongs to the bank (which is represented by the customer), there is a previous contract that is wakalah. The occurrence of this wakalah contract is not done in accounting records. Therefore, if only look at the accounting records of a bank, it will not be seen clearly a transaction with the agreement mura> bah} ah bil wakalah. Whereas, in accounting calculation by musya> rakah mutana> qis} ah contract, accounting treatment that acknowledged the financing of musya> rakah, then in its presentation, there is certainly a Financial Position Report (balance sheet) showing the financing musya> rakah as a whole.

Abstract
The Islamic economic sector has grown rapidly in Malaysia and in the world including culinary, Islamic finance, Islamic takaful (insurance and mortgage) industries, fashion, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, entertainment, and tourism. Islamic tourism is seen as a new way of developing the tourism industry in Malaysia as well as in line with ethics, culture and Islamic values. Islamic tourism is not defined as a visit to the mosque alone, but the visit is closely related to nature, culture, or creativity that integrates with Islamic values. Currently, the concept of adherence to Islam (which has been called as Shariah-compliant) has become a trend in the global economy, from food and beverage products, to lifestyle and finances. As a new lifestyle trend, many countries are beginning to introduce tourism products related to halal concept or Islamic orientation. Even countries like Korea, Japan, Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, and so on that are not Muslim-majority countries have helped in developing Islamic tourism prospects and products. The term Islamic tourism still has no clear boundaries and still uses various terms such as Halal Tourism, Halal Friendly Travel Destinations, Halal Travel, Islamic Travel Destinations, Halal Lifestyle and more. Even in Malaysia, the concept of Islamic tourism is also unclear. According to some Islamic tourism experts, tourism is a complementary product and does not eliminate the type of conventional tourism. As a new way of developing Islamic tourism in Malaysia itself, defending Islamic culture and values, efforts should be made to enhance Islamic tourism without eliminating the uniqueness and authenticity of Islamic culture and tradition. Islamic tourism is not only related to religious values but also must be in line with every way of life that is not contrary to Islam. The potential and prospects of Islamic tourism in Malaysia are still not maximized, whereas if we work more seriously, the potential of Islamic tourism in Malaysia is huge. Not many companies and agencies organize halal tourism packages because they think it is not a necessity and a profit while the actual fact is the opposite. Many companies are more focused on routine Islamic tourism such as Umrah and Hajj.
