Abstract
Land Surface Temperature (LST) can be used as an indicator of measuring temperature change in the regions. The changing variation can be produced or affected by some factor such as elevation, land cover products, and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). This study aimed to investigate LST variation based on elevation, land cover products, and NDVI in the North Sumatra area, Indonesia. Land products satellite data between 2000 and 2018 were downloaded from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) website. Multiple linear regression was used to find the patterns of LST variation. The highest LST variation was found in Evergreen Broadedleaf (EB) forest and urban area with the average change 0.4 and 0.5 °C/decade and the lowest was found in water surface area with the average change more than -1 °C/decade. The overall mean of LST changing was -0.1 °C/decade with r-square 31.4%. There was unique LST variation in EB forest land cover when the elevation increased, the LST also increased from -0.4 to 0.5 0C/decade. The same condition also appears in Savannas and cropland/natural vegetation mosaic (Crop. Mos.). In conclusion, the changing of LST in North Sumatra was affected by elevation, land cover products, and NDVI.

Abstract
To become a global maritime axis, Indonesia needs to strengthen the security of its maritime region. Indonesia has adopted the Law of the Sea Convention (LOSC) to determine its water boundaries. One of the points in LOSC that has not been implemented in Indonesia is related to internal waters. Until now Indonesia has not yet determined the extent of its internal waters. This study aims to examine the potential of Tomini Bay as a historic bay, especially spatial terms, so that it will increase the area of Indonesias internal waters. The methods used were literature study of the cases in other countries, determination of the area, and extensive calculations using basic data on RBI maps, such as toponym data, and coastline data. Based on this research, Tomini Bay has an area of 56,948.51 km2, but according to LOSC it is not a juridical bay since the width of its opening is more than 24 nautical miles. Some small juridical bays in the Tomini region have an accumulative area of 418.49 km2, only about 0.73% of Tomini area. In order for Tomini Bay to meet the provisions of UNCLOS as a bay, Indonesia needs to define Tomini Bay as a "historic bay", because in this study it was found the defining potential. By recognizing Tomini as a historic bay, Indonesia can change the status of the waters inside it from archipelagic waters to internal waters, so that Indonesias authority over the region becomes stronger.

Abstract
Bacteria cellulose (BC) derived from Acetobacter xylinum strain possess several advantages such as elevated water holding capacity, high porosity and excellent mechanical strength. BC is useful to replace vegetal plant and applied into various industrial field such as papermaking, packaging and textile. In this study, BC membranes were produced from coconut water based consists of 8.0% sugar, 0.5% ammonium sulphate and 1.0% acetic acid at pH 4.5, followed with the addition of 10.0% inoculum before subjected to static incubation for 7 days. This study evaluated the changes of BC membrane properties using different concentration of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) under room temperature within 24 hours. The morphological, physical, chemical structure and water vapour permeability (WVP) of BC were analysed using FESEM, XRD, FTIR and WVP analysis, respectively. Results show that BC is mainly consist of cellulose I_α with high crystallinity and smaller crystallite sizes. The differences in NaOH concentrations varied the fibrils diameter of cellulose, in accordance to FESEM images. The use of higher concentration of NaOH (≥ 2.0%) gave a smooth cellulose structure with less porosity, thus reducing the WVP properties of BC.

Abstract
Currently there are still many customers with 900 Volt Ampere (VA) Power which is categorized as capable households (RTM). As the result, the electricity tariff that must be paid by 900 VA Power customers climb up to Rp 1,352.00 / Kilo Watt Hours (KWH). The proportion of electricity subsidies to central government spending is increase from 2.5% in 2005 to 4.7% in the 2012 according to State Budget. The average electricity subsidy spends around 7% of the central government budget. This condition shows that electricity subsidies are adequate to burden the central government budget. (Bureau of Budget Analysis and APBN-Sekjen RI-RI Implementation). Problems in PT PLN have uncertain impact on the subsidy budget and inefficiencies in PT PLN require comprehensive solutions. In implementing the electricity subsidy distribution program that is right on target and can help the performance of PT. PLN is on duty, so a new breakthrough is needed based on technological advances in the world, namely new data collection and re-data collection for consumers by bringing data that has been determined by PT PLN as supporting data. So that the consumer support data will be tested with a system has made to determine that the consumer deserves a subsidy or not. In order to find a solution on subsidies that are right on target, in its application can seek solutions to problem solving through the application of the Naive Bayes method. Abstract
Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have been synthesized using 1,2-propanediol as a reducing agent, and polyvinyl alcohol as a capping agent. In this present work, the effect of pH on the reduction rate and final product of AgNPs have been investigated. The particles were collected and characterized using an ultraviolet-visible spectrometer and a transmission electron microscope. The results show that the pH affects the reduction rate and morphology of the particles. The reduction rate of Ag atoms increases as the pH incrases which leads to the formation of bigger particles with irregular shape. Meanwhile, when the pH was decreased, the reduction rate of Ag atoms was found to decrease, resulting in the formation of smaller particles with more regular shape. The difference in reduction rate is ascribed due to the descrepancy of the equilibrium reaction for formation of Ag atoms.

Abstract
Pure water flux holds an important key in determining the quality of a certain filter. The flux can be measured by pumping a number of volume fluid through some filter membrane over time. By using automation electrical control system, high accuracy sensor and over time sampling data, the error that occurred in manual data sampling will reduced, so the flux that occurred will be more accurate. This paper explains how the automation system using a controllable air regulator pressure pump with high precision pressure sensor, and high accuracy digital balance and the data received displayed in the Graphical User Interface (GUI) to get the flux of a filter membrane. The calibration process of the hardware that involves in this measurement gave good result with minimum or the lowest value of linear regression constanta is 1 for the bit digital balance number and mass number and 0.9998 for duty cycle read of the digital pressure and measured sensor calibrate pressure sensor. Also the accuracy number of the digital balance got by comparing the digital balance and calibrate scale, the highest number of error is 0.35% while the minimum value of mass number that could be recorded reached 0.003 gram. And for the flux measurement test on different type of filter membrane also shows that the different of membrane pore size affect the value of the flux and given increment of the pressure causes the value of flux increase.

Abstract
In this study, the composition of (1-x-y)BaTiO3-xBiFeO3-yKVO3 (x = 0.15 ; y = 0.01 and 0.025) were successfully synthesized using a calcination at 700°C for 2 hours of mixed BaTiO3, KVO3 and BiFeO3. Previously, BaTiO3 (BT), KVO3 (KV), and BiFeO3 (BFO) powders were each synthesized through oxalate coprecipitation, solid state reaction, and sol-gel self-combustion method respectively. Phase identification was carried out through X-ray diffraction match software, and further refinement analysis using Rietica software. SEM/EDX analysis was completed for the microstructure characterization, while the impedance complex analysis are used to determine its electrical properties. XRD pattern clarify the absence of the secondary phase in both compositions after calcination, however after sintering the secondary phase Ba3V2O8 was detected. Furthermore, the substitution of 1 mol% and 2.5 mol% doped KV successfully reduce the sintering temperature become ≈1050°C from generally reported 1300⁰C-1400⁰C [1].

Abstract
In this research, a carbonized chicken feather for anode materials was prepared using the pyrolysis method. While the activation process of carbon utilized KOH variations (1M, 3M, and 5M) which was pyrolyzed at 700 oC. In addition, the surface area, crystalline structures, and morphologies of the activated carbonized chicken feather (CFCAs) were investigated by the X-ray diffraction, BET, FTIR, and SEM. Furthermore, their various electrochemical properties in LIBs were also examined, with the chemical activation process decreasing the crystallite size. The activated carbon has a small reduction and oxidation peaks, which attributed to the insertion of Li-ion into the voids in carbon. The results show that activated carbon with KOH 5 M has the highest discharge rate capacity at 445.87 (mAhg-1).

Abstract
Abstract The purification of zinc oxide has been carried out from zinc dross waste by pyrometallurgy method. The amount of zinc dross waste was cleansed by using aqua DM liquid with ratio of 1:10, then this amount was characterized using XRF to determine chemical compounds contained within the 90% of zinc dross waste, while impurity compositions of Fe, Al, and Mg were found. Hence, the amount of zinc dross waste was mixed to carbonized coffee within two ratios, i.e. 87.5%wt: 12.5%wt, and 75%wt: 25%wt. The mixture samples were then dissolved by aqua DM, followed by milling treatment by performing Planetary Bill Mill for 40 minutes, so that the muddy-phase were obtained. This sample was then filtered and it was heated inside an oven at 100oC for 24 hours to powder. The mixture powder of zinc dross and carbon was then placed in pyrolysis vessel at 1200oC for 2.5 hours. The obtained amount of zinc oxide powder was characterized by using XRF, and this has 98% of purity with impurities element i.e Al2O3, Fe2O3, MgO, and SiO2. Thermal testing was performed for ZnO sample by using DT instrument to investigate the effect heating to the reaction events. The analysis of DTA showed that the mixture sample of zinc dross and carbon had reaction sequences at 800oC. The morphological analysis conducted by SEM and OM depicted that ZnO has agglomeration characteristics with uniformity shape among particles. The size of the particles is between 1,900 µm to 9,378 µm.

Abstract
In this paper, studied the refining effects of Sb2O3 and ultraviolet transmitting property of NaCaBSi glasses. These raw materials were weighted according to the (40-x)SiO2 :30B2O3 :20Na2O :10CaO :xSb2O3 where x=0.0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 mol%. NaCaBSi glasses were obtained by using melt quenching technique and characterized by using density, refractive index, optical absorption spectra and the number of bubbles in glass measure as a function of different concentrations. The density (ρ), molar volume (VM) and refractive index obtained were found to increase with increases in the concentration of Sb2O3 in the glass matrix. The optical absorption spectra of glasses were measured in the wavelength of 200 – 1,100 nm. Number of bubbles in glass decrease when increasing Sb2O3 concentrations

Abstract
The gadolinium tungsten borate glasses doped with Er3+ were prepared by melt quenching technique for study in physical, absorption and luminescence properties by composition (30-x) B2O3 - 27.5 Gd2O3 - 42.5 WO3 - x Er2O3, where x = 0.1, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 mol%. The results show that doping Er2O3 in high concentration make the glass density and molar volume tend to increase. The absorption spectra indicate the photon absorbing of Er3+ in visible light and near infrared region. The luminescence of an erbium doped glass were investigated at room temperature. In addition, mechanisms of the luminescence by multiphoton absorption and energy transfer processes are discussed based on the energy-level diagram of Er3+ and luminescence spectra. These results benefit for efficient short and conventional-length optical amplifiers and tunable lasers.

Abstract
The study aims to explain the behavior of electronic money usage through the implementation of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT 2) model that is collaborated with two other variables, including the factors examined Includes performance expectations, effort expectations, social influences, facilitation conditions, hedonist motivation, price value, habits, technological perception of security and the perception of Muslim society on electronic money transactions. UTAUT 2 is a model of acceptance and use of technology that combines the best features of several other technological acceptance theory models. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. Research is located in South Jakarta. Data is obtained using an online questionnaire with 176 respondents. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) application. The results of this study indicate that the application of the UTAUT 2 theory is positively influential in the behavior of electronic money usage, the security perception of technology doesn-t have a positively affects on the behavior of electronic money usage and the perception of Muslim society using electronic money has doesn-t have positive effect. Therefore, governments and electronic money-issuing parties need to consider the use of the UTAUT 2 theory model to be able to supervise and assess the product in the community, increased secutiry on electronic money servers is needed to increase community confidence, and the government is building partnership with electronic money publishers Syari-ah in order to minimize the concern of Muslim in using electronic money.

Abstract
This research aims to comprehend how public electric vehicle is preferred among other transportation modes namely shuttle bus, public bus, private motorcycle, and private car, specifically for long-range (approximately more than 20 km) daily commuting. Data collection process is conducted using questionnaire-based survey that is divided into three sections: Stated-Preferences (SP), Sociodemographics (SD) characteristics, and statement evaluations (SE). SP includes eight sets of selected labelled experiments with several attributes: travel time, travel cost, waiting time, access and egress time, access and egress cost, frequency, congestion time, and parking cost. Information on age, gender, and income are compiled in the SD section. The experimental design is developed using NGENE with a D-efficient design. We manage to gather 333 respondents and each of them corresponds to the 8 scenarios presented. Thus, a total of 2664 observations are acquired for further analysis in the light of travel mode choice behavior. An open source Python package, Biogeme, is used for the choice modeling analysis. Biogeme is designed for the maximum likelihood estimation of parametric models in general, with a special emphasis on discrete choice models. In this study, multinomial logit (MNL) modeling techniques is used as it is common in transportation research. There are 39 parameters (K= 39) used in the study comprised of four alternative specific constant (ASC): ASC1 for public electric vehicle (PEV), ASC3 for public bus (PB), ASC4 for private motorcycle (PM), and ASC5 for private car (PC); eight coefficients (beta) for each PB, PEV, and SH comprised of access and egress (AE), access and egress cost (AEcost), congestion time (Ctime), frequency (Freq), travel time (Ttime), waiting time (Wtime), emission level, and vibration and noise level; five coefficients for each PM and PC comprised of congestion time, parking cost, travel time, emission, and vibration; and a generic coefficient of travel cost. This result indicates that Indonesian commuters are sensitive to congestion time, travel time, and travel cost in all transportation modes except public bus; and to vibration and noise level only in public transportations. Emission level in public transportations is more concerning for the commuters that in private transportations. Frequency of public transportations are unimportant and parking cost only matters to private car users.
