Abstract
Graphite electrode was modified by electropolymerization of eugenol in alkaline medium by cyclic voltammetry. The polyeugenol-graphite electrode (GEEU) was than used for determination of hydroquinone (HQ) at phosphate buffer solution (PBS) of pH 7.0 by cyclic voltammetry technique. The performance of this modified has shown excellent electrocatalytic activity toward of HQ than unmodified electrode (GE). The reduction of peak separation has been decreased from 0.309 V to 0.228 V. In addition, the effect of scan rates indicate that redox electrochemical behaviour of HQ is diffusion controlled electrochemical process on GEEU. Under experimental, the oxidation peak current increases linearly with concentration of HQ at ranged from 1.42 micro M to 101.07 micro M at the linear regression equation of Ip = 3.86C + 355.20. On the other hand, the oxidation peak current raises linearly with concentration of HQ at higher ranged from 136.67 micro M to 450.50 micro M at the linear regression equation of Ip = 1.69C + 559.72. The LOD and LOQ were measured at lower concentration of HQ, 1.44 micro M and 4.37 micro M, respectively. Moreover, the proposed modified has been successfully applied to the determination of HQ in cosmetic sample with satisfactory recoveries.

Assesing average and potential yields of soybean high yield lines Gatut_Wahyu A. S. 1, Novita Nugrahaeni2, Abdullah Taufiq3, Titik Sundari4, Suhartina5 and Purwantoro6 1-6 Indonesian Legume and Tuber Crops Research Institute, INDONESIA (E-mail: gatut_wahyu2016@yahoo.com, nnugrahaeni@gmail.com, a.taufiq@gmail.com, titik_iletri@gmail.com, t_ina@gmail.com, pur_bagus@gmail.com) Background: Average and potential yields of soybean can be increased through genetic and cultivation technology improvements. Genetic improvement can be attained by employing genetic engineering technologies or by crossing between soybean parentals to derive the desired lines or cultivars. One of the cultivation technologie components is planting suitable cultivars for specific purpose or environment. Response of cultivars to environmental conditions varies due to the existence of genotype by environment interactions (Sundari et al., 2016; Lyimo et al., 2017), therefore, cultivars must be evaluated in a diverse environments to determine their performances. In addition, planting areas of soybean is relatively stagnant, and even tends to decline. To meet the increasing demand of national soybeans it is important to make a breakthrough, especially in increasing seed yield average. Therefore increasing soybean productivity is important to achieve. Soybean cultivars with yield potential of more than 4.0 t/ha will be able to boost the increase national soybean production. Research to improve soybean seed potential has obtained 30 homozygouse lines which need to be further evaluated to asses the ability of the lines to produce high average and potential seed yields. Those lines will be evaluated compared to the most popular high yield cultivar Anjasmoro, and the new large seeded high seed yield Dega 1. Aims: The study was conducted to asses the average and yield potential of soybean lines. Materials and Methods: The trials were carried out in two stages, namely preliminary yield trial (PYT) and advanced yield trial (AYT), each of the trial is as followed: (1) PYT were conducted in two locations, i.e. in Jambegede Experimental Farm-Malang and in Ngale KP, Ngawi during the 1st dry season (MKI) 2017. Thirty soybean homozygous lines and two check cultivars (Anjasmoro and Dega 1) were arranged in randomized completely block design, replicated three times. Each genotype was planted in a plot of 5.6 m2 with 40 cm x 15 cm plant spacing, two plants per hill; (2). Thirteen selected soybean lines from PYT along with the same two check cultivars (Anjasmoro and Dega 1) were evaluated in AYT. The trials were conducted in three locations, i.e. Genteng Experimental Farm-Banyuwangi, Ngale Exp. Farm-Ngawi, and in Jambegede Exp. Farm-Malang during the 2nd dry season 2017. The 15 genotypes were set randomized completely block design, replicated three times. Each genotype was planted in a plot of 12 m2, spaced 40 cm inter rows and 15 cm within a row, two plants per hill. F

Abstract
Abstract Growth performance and immune responses of Asian seabass (Lates calcarifer) was assessed after being fed diet containing different levels of a commercial nucleotide (Optimun®) and a purified mixture of nucleotides containing AMP (Adenosine monophosphate), IMP (Inosine monophosphate), UMP (Uridine monophosphate), GMP (Guanidine monophosphate) and CMP (Cytidine monophosphate) at equal amounts. Six nucleotide supplemented diets and a control diet were used in this study namely O1 (Optimun 0.25%), O2 (Optimun 0.5%), O3 (Optimun 0.75%), P1 (0.25% nucleotides), P2 (0.5% nucleotides), P3 (0.75% nucleotide) and C (control/no supplemented nucleotides). Juvenile Asian seabass with an average weight of 13.19 ± 0.58 g (mean ± SD) were fed the treatment diet at 3% body weight per day for six weeks. The study revealed that the different inclusion level of nucleotide did not significantly affect the growth and immune responses of Asian seabass. However, diet P2 with supplementation of 0.5% nucleotide gave higher growth performance, serum total protein, albumin and globulin compare to other diet groups.

Abstract
Abstract: Fermentation has been practice to bioconvert inorganic substances into more readily available nutrients. Selenium is an important trace mineral functioning to improve growth and health status. A study was carried out to determine the carcass percentage and organ development of broilers fed fermented diets with the addition of selenium. Rice bran from the local market was purchased and finely ground. One kg rice bran added with 1 g sodium selenite as surce of selenium (Se) was autoclaved for 20 minutes at 20 psi. The autoclaved rice bran was added with distilled water up to 80% moisture concentration. The autoclaved mixture was incubated with two different fungi (Aspergillus niger and Saccharomyces cerevisiae) for 120 hours to produce fermented rice bran with A. niger (FRBAN) and fermented rice bran with S. cerevisiae (FRBSC). The study used 140 day-old-chicks as experimental animals. The birds were kept in cages for 6 weeks and fed 5 different diets ad-libitum. The treatments were control basal diet (T-1), control + 0.4 ppm Se (sodium selenite; T-2), control basal diet + 0.4 ppm Se from Selplex commercial feed additive rich in Se (T-3), control diet + 0.4 ppm Se derived from FRBSC (T-4) and control basal diet + 0.4 Se derived from FRBAN (T-5). A completely randomized design was adopted in this study with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Results of the study indicate that percentages of liver, gizzard, and carcass were lower in birds fed diets containing sodium selenite. Shorter relative length and diameter of the small intestine were also found in the birds offered the sodium selenite – supplemented diet. The percentages of abdominal fat and breast muscle were not affected by treatment diets. In conclusion, the addition of Se in the form of sodium selenite negatively affected percentages of the liver, gizzard, carcass and digestive tract dimensions. Fermentation of rice bran containing sodium selenite could minimize the detrimental effect of inorganic selenium.

Abstract
Abstract The study was conducted to examine effects of supplementation of crude cellulase produced from Trichoderma viride – fermented copra meal (CM) on nutrient digestibility, apparent metabolizable energy (AME), digestive organs weight, protein and cholesterol content of breast meat of broiler chickens. A total of 200 day-old-male broiler chickens were used. The birds were fed with 5 different diets; T-1 = 0 g/kg CM, T-2 = 50 g/kg CM + crude enzymes, T-3 = 100 g/kg CM + crude enzymes, T-4 = 150 g/kg CM + crude enzymes and T-5 = 200 g/kg CM + crude enzymes. Feed digestibilities, digestive organs weight, protein and cholesterol content of breast meat were determined as parameters. On day 35, two birds from each replication were placed into metabolisme cages for digestibility measurement. A completely randomized design was adopted with five treatments and five replications. The digestibilities of protein, crude fibre, AME of the diets and cholesterol content of the breast meat of broiler chickens fed the rations with crude enzymes addition were better than those of birds fed the T-1. The response of protein and crude fibre digestibilities were curvilinearly over the increasing levels of CM in the diets and crude enzyme addition. Digestive organs weight, protein and lipid percentages of the breast meat were not affected by the treatments. Supplementation of increasing CM diets with crude enzymes from Trichoderma viride produced higher protein, crude fibre digestibilities and AME of the diets and lower cholesterol content of breast meat

Abstract
This research aims to discuss parents- involvement in early childhood literacy development. It stems from the importance of parents- roles in early childhood activities, especially those that develop literacy. So far, research on children development paradigm by looking at the factors within the family as an asset has not been investigated in the context of Indonesian culture. Therefore, research on parents- effort in early childhood literacy development needs to be conducted. This research employs qualitative approach which is study case by examining five parents as the participants. Interview and observation are employed to collect the data. Then, the data is analyzed through grounded theory technique. Bronfenbrener ecological theory is served as the framework to discuss the problems and understand the data presented in this research. The results of the study indicate that parents- roles are tangible in early childhood literacy development. The conclusion can be drawn as follows: 1) parents perform literacy activities, for example, memorizing, using media and providing literacy-rich surroundings 2) supporting factors such as parents- motivation is associated with parents- involvement with the demand of school readiness and positive belief of the importance of early childhood education. The problems consist of unbalance roles between the parents, physical factor, and 3) the collaboration between the parents and school is actualized in the forms of meetings, giving information, creating parents- coordinator, and communicating between the parents and teachers. Parents must be able to take part in children-s activities in order to modify them into the stimulus that develops children-s literacy

Abstract
Children born in 2010 until now are Alfa generation children. The Alfa generation is in the midst of advances in information technology at the golden age. Alfa generation children from an early age are familiar with the world of technology and the internet, also known as the native digital generation. So that children who are now studying in playgroups, kindergartens and elementary schools today are alpha-generation children who are Karab with IT who are able to access and absorb various information. Besides school parents also play a role in the social development of childrens emotions. For this reason, a learning model that can optimize childrens emotional emotional abilities is needed. The social problems of children today are quite worrying, we can see from various media that lately shows the amount of violence and bullying that the perpetrators and victims are children. for that we need preventive measures that need to be done on children from an early age. Technology and information are increasingly developing so that it impacts on the swift flow of information that is easily accessed by children without being filtered so that it becomes a model and is imitated by children. schools today still focus on cognitive development and minimal application of social development and at home parents have limitations. A model of social emotional development intervention in schools is needed that involves collaboration with parents. This study aims to evaluate the application of emotional social learning models by involving parents. Based on the results of evaluations conducted at eight PAUD institutions in East Jakarta located in 8 sub-districts, the average success of the program was 85.87%. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that the program can be implemented well and successfully

Abstract

Abstract
Lithium iron phosphate battery (LFP) is one of the longest lifetime lithium ion batteries. However, its application in the long-term needs requires specific conditions to be operated normally and avoid damage. Battery management system (BMS) is the solution to this problem. The BMS designed in this study has three key features: monitoring, balancing, and protection. Arduino Nano as a microcontroller gives an advantage that is programable so that it can be used for all types of LFP batteries, without the need to re-create BMS. The results of this study indicate the ability of BMS in maintaining voltage values with passive balancing at 3.6V, disconnecting the input current and voltage under over and under conditions with protection, and displaying system monitoring conditions on the screen

Abstract
Degrees of human intervention for vehicular technology have been decreasing in the past few years. Automated cars and even autonomous ones have been appearing in successive events. One aspect to note is that automated systems for automobiles are believed to follow the technology for electric vehicles. It will then require a real-time control system to guarantee timely responses and task priority setups for internal and external events of real-time systems, especially for the migration of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles to electric cars

Abstract
Abstrak: The quality of medical devices is paramount to establish the anamnesis, diagnosis and also treatment of patient. Arterial pressure measurement as one of the first indicators in the Hypertension Management Guidelines requires the accuracy as well as their function. Error in the detection of blood pressure should not occur during measurement because the errors will also make failure in determining the diagnosis and therapy for hypertensive patient, related on their hypertensive classification. Clinicians requires accurate medical measurement in order to monitor patients, diagnose diseases and deliver treatments. The failure of detection will certainly have diverse effects. Preliminary studies have shown that differences in results that are generated by two types of blood pressure devices, aneroid sphygmomanometers and digital blood pressure. The differences higher 2 to 3 mmHg using digital blood pressure than aneroid sphygmomanometer. This difference could lead to a new determination of blood pressure classification and could the accuracy of blood pressure devices that are widely used in medical circles. Therefore, it is necessary for medical staff to get information about the accuracy of blood pressure devices and its critical parameters in determining blood pressure, it is also necessary for a regulation on a blood pressure classification based on the type and level of accuracy of measuring instruments.

Abstract
The theoretical calculations on radiation shielding parameters of glass systems in the composition (80-x) B2O3: 20Na2O: xBi2O3 (where x = 0,5,10,15 and 55 mol%) were inquired into using the WinXCom program. The characteristics of radiation shielding parameters for the glass systems had been examined for the mass attenuation coefficients, the effective atomic number, and the electron density in the energy ranges of 1 keV to 100 GeV. These are the glass systems at the different compositions of bismuth which were found that depend upon the energy regions. The results demonstrate that the mass attenuation coefficients, the effective atomic number, and the electron density have the same trend which those values increase with the increasing of the different compositions of bismuth. At the low-energy region, the mass attenuation coefficients show the several discontinuous jumps of the energies which correspond to the photoelectric absorption edges. At the medium-energy region, the Compton scattering process is the main interaction in these energy ranges. In the high-energy regions, pair production becomes the main interaction process and tends to be constant over energy.
