Abstract
This research was conducted in the North Sump area of the Air Laya Mining Unit at the Tanjung Enim, PT Bukit Asam Tbk. The sump is a former open pit mining area in the form of a very large basin. Previously this sump functioned to gathers water from the pit. Since there is no mining operation in that pit, then that sump-s functionality is changed into a disposal area, so the sump is needed to be dried. The draining plan is carried out with mine drainage and mine dewatering. Mine drainage is an effort to prevent runoff water to enters the sump. Mine dewatering is the effort to remove water from the sump by pumping. The initial draining plan is not able to dry the sump. It can be seen from the water surface-s elevation on the sump that has not decreased, so it is necessary to study the plan to drain the sump. The study conducted considers the calculation of the water balance. Water balance is influenced by inflow in the form of runoff water and outflow in the form of evaporation and pumping. Based on the calculation of the water balance, three alternatives are proposed in sump drying, which from each alternative can be seen changes in the volume and depth of the sump in a certain period. Alternative I is done by adding the number of pumps, the alternative II is done by increasing the pump impeller rotation, and the alternative III is done with alternative I and alternative II combination. The alternative chosen is alternative III with a drying time of 72 days.

Abstract
Sugarcane quality was evaluated using Near Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy in two sugar factory for payment system. The samples were collected from core sampler system. The parameter of cane quality analysis were brix in cane (BIC), pol in cane (PIC) and fiber in cane. The target of this study was to develop and improve model calibration of NIR for cane quality. NIR reflectance spectra ranging from 1100 – 2500 nm were collected to evaluate the sugarcane quality of shredded cane. The conventional method to determine cane quality was using Wet Disintegrator method based on ICUMSA GS5/7-1 (2011). SX-plus software from Buchi was used as data treatment and model development. The NIR results was evaluate from high correlation coefficient (r2), low standard calibration (SEC) and high ratio of prediction to deviation (RPD). The accuracies of NIR analysis for PIC were satisfactory with coefficient of correlation (R2) above 0,9 both for calibration and prediction. The accuracies of BIC and fiber remained at unsatisfactory level with coefficient of correlation (R2) below 0,9. The NIR instrument could be use to determine pol in cane for cane payment system purposes.

Abstract
Heavy metal pollution has spread through many parts of the world, especially developing countries such as Indonesia. Large quantities of hazardous chemicals especially heavy metals have been released into environment worldwide due to global rapid population growth and intensive domestic activities, as well as expanding industrial and agricultural production. Environment in urban areas have also been associated with water and soil quality problems because of the practice of discharging of untreated domestic and industrial waste into the water bodies which leads to the increase in the level of metals in river water. Based on that, the study of heavy metal pollution is needed to evaluates the water and soil pollution levels in areas suspected of being polluted and quantifies the risks of pollutants pose to human health. To assess these potential threat levels, the environmental indices will be applied, along with the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) recommended method for health risk assessment. The results will demonstrate not only the severity of heavy metal pollution from the study areas, but also the high carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks that environment heavymetal pollution poses to the public, especially to children and those living in the vicinity of heavily polluted areas.

Abstract
A refrigeration system that uses Ammonia Anhydrous in the liquid phase and the gas phase. The refrigeration system has the potential for gas leakage which poses a risk to worker safety as well as environmental pollution to water bodies and air pollution. This risk might have an impact on employees in the factory area and could extend to the surrounding community. This study is intended to be able to analyze the risk of pollution accurately before installing the refrigeration installation. In this study the analysis method that will be used is the statistical method and the use of mathematical models supported by Aloha software. The distribution of pollutants from ammonia gas leakage is influenced by several factors, including the capacity of the refrigeration system, meteorological conditions, and land use. The use of Aloha software in the prediction of zones affected by the spread of toxic substances in the atmosphere can calculate and predict the area affected by leakage events. With modeling done, will get map of concentration and impacted area. The direction and magnitude of the impact of pollution will be known immediately and the potential losses that may arise will be minimized.

Abstract
Water distribution from water treatment plants may still contain some contaminants such as odor, sediments, discoloration, bacteria, viruses, worms, etc, so it is unhygienic and has potential hazards waterborne disease to human health, it can cause several diseases such as skin disease, itching, influenza, typhus, diarrhea, etc. This can be caused by several contaminants parameters of physical, chemical and microbiological. There are several methods that can be used to treat water such as filtration that purpose to reduce the concentration of contaminants carried or formed in potable water distribution, to conform to drinking water quality standards. Filtration has many media types such as activated carbon, greensand manganese, ferolite, polypropylene, yarn, and ceramic. The advantage of activated carbon is low cost, high efficiency and easy to maintenance. Effects of water purification shows that the filtration from activated carbon combined with polypropylene filtration processes has significant effects and very effective to reduce physical contaminant, it can be reduced 60 – 80 % depending on the concentration of contaminant and can improve water quality. This article is a review of some of the results of the research process.

Abstract
Brackish water has a salt content between 500 to 17000 mg/l. If people consumption of brackish water, it impacts health problems and making plants wither or die. Groundwater become brackish is caused by sea water intrusion. Therefore desalination technology is needed to process brackish water into fresh water. Natural material is predicted to be an alternative for desalination process. Natural zeolite are more used because they have abundant excess availability, lower operational costs, and have a high adsorption. More research is needed to determine the right activation method for zeolite so that the effectiveness of decreasing salinity can increase. In the initial study using natural zeolites with chemically activated, the reduction efficiency (ɳ) reached ~ 99.54%. From the results of these natural treatment, zeolite have the ability to reduce of salinity. This article is a review of several previous studies.

Abstract
The development of an area to become a tourism destination inevitably involves many cooperating parties and a systematic and integrated regulation with other sectors. In order to create an orderliness there is a need for a business legal approach to be involved so that tourism activities do not bring about unendurable negative impacts. One of the negative impacts in question is the occurrence of unfair business competition, especially between small business actors in tourism destinations. Thus, there is a need of regulatory model for structuring small businesses in the tourist destination. Hence, in the present study we made use of normative study design to explore the regulatory model for structuring small businesses from a juridical, sociological and philosophical perspective. We dealt with discovering an alternative model that is best used in regulating the appropriate structuring of small business so that fair business competition does occur. Access to economic resources in the tourism sector can be obtained fairly by all entrepreneurs both of micro and macro levels.

Abstract
Halal food supply chain concept commonly concerns the Muslim consumers in Malaysia. The Halal concept for a Muslim, in reference to food, is the dietary standard, as prescribed in the Quran; Muslim scripture. General Quranic guidance dictates that all foods are Halal except those that are specifically mentioned as Haram or prohibited. Hence foods or products that are produced in line with Halal prescriptions are readily acceptable by Muslim consumers. Due to the fact that Halal food is in a great demand specifically by the Muslim around the world, food providers tend to create an image of Halal including the use of words related to the Islamic dietary code such as “Muslim”, “Islamic” and “Halal” as part of the brand name. For example, Sixty9 Islamic Steakhouse. Although this may create a positive image among the Muslim consumer, surprisingly research to understand the perception of non-Muslim consumer on Halal image is still scarce. This study explores the perceptions of non-Muslim tourists of the image of Halal Food. It particularly identifies the underlying factors that are likely to influence non-Muslim-s tourist- perceptions towards the image of Halal food. Through an explorative qualitative enquiry the data was collected through a focus group interview of 15 non-Muslim tourists who were randomly selected in the Klang Valley. The data was analysed using the Thematic Analysis. The finding of this study imply that the non-Muslim tourists are aware of the existence of Halal Food and the reason behind it-s the Halal principles. However, a mix respond was found in terms of the perception of the image of Halal. The result of this study sheds lights on the halal food related literature by exploring the perceptions and purchase intention of non-Muslim tourists towards halal food beyond the awareness level.

Abstract
Particulate matter (PM) plays a crucial role in altering the air quality, human health and materials. PM do not only affects humans health but damages the museums artefacts in many ways such as paint and materials deterioration, metal corrosion, fading of dyes and soiling of stone rubber, and textile. The main aim of this research is to quantify the mass concentration of suspended particulate matter in terms of respirable and inhalable particles at outdoors, indoors, and exhibition boxes of the National Museum Malaysia. This research was conducted for 32 days (16 weekdays and 16 weekends). The main target are the exhibition gallery A and B, and also exhibition boxes for those containing inorganic materials such as metals, stones, and ceramics. In total, 13 samples stations were surveyed, this includes three exhibition box each from Gallery A and B, indoor area of both Gallery A and B, lobby and four outdoor locations at the front entrance, rear entrance, right and left-wing of the building. Cyclone sampler head and Casella 7-Holes were used to capture respirable and inhalable samples respectively. Result revealed that most of the average mass concentration obtained in all sample stations were beyond limited guidelines stated by the Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) and Department of Environment (DOE). The average mass concentrations of inhalable dust sampled at the metal and ceramic exhibition box of Gallery A at weekdays was the highest that is 0.4688 mg/m3, which is about 213 times more than the required standards. However, lower values were obtained for the respirable particles, but they were found to still beyond standard DOE guidelines for PM10 that is 0.004 mg/m3. The highest respirable particles were found at the ceramic exhibition box with 0.3788 mg/m3 for the average mass concentration. Further analysis was made by comparing the ratio of respirable particles to inhalable particles. The result of this research will assist the museum to come up with a procedure to reduce the effect of airborne particulate matter on museum artefacts. Hence, reducing government expenses through cleaning and maintenance procedure toward effected artefacts. Additionally, this study is beneficial to conservationists, museum management and curators by enlightening them on ways to reduce the damaging effect caused by soiling defects by airborne particulate matter.

Abstract
Women- participation in Village Consultative Body (BPD) is considered very low. As a matter of fact, women involvement in decision making process would enforce democratization and strengthen an inclusive development in village. Women- low participation and representativeness are caused by several factors, and one of them is institutional sexism, which then made the institution (BPD) gender bias in many ways. The research aims to describe and to analyze the form of gender bias practices in BPD. This is a descriptive-qualitative research, and utilizes Miles and Huberman-s technique analysis. The result show that institutionalized gender bias can be seen in adopted preference values in the body, which are mostly male-perspective. The divisions of job in BPD are based on traditional gender role which dismisses women from strategic position associated with decision making process. Second, the gender biased structure can be found in policy priority of the body which tends to focus on male-stream projects. As the consequence, women are getting excluded in decision making process and contribute less or peripheral, and at last, women in BPD are still experiencing harsh sexism such as negligence or being undervalued.

Abstract
Wind Turbines have become one of the feasible power plants to replaced fossil fuels. Because this plant is affordable cost and did not produce pollutants as an output. Vertical Axis Wind Turbine can be placed at points with high wind intensity such as; toll roads, ships, railroads, airports. The energy produced can be distributed for the civilian house light, the street lights, the fishing boats light, others. The hope is that wind turbines can generate 100 watts of power, so that charging time can be at least 6 hours. But, the average velocity data in the field is worth under 2.85 m/s (minimum wind speed to get 100 watt). Resulting in a turbine charging time more than 6 hours. In this case, The Turbine needed more than one accu as a place to store the energy even the accu take more than 6 hours to be charged.

Abstract
