Abstract
In this recent work, we develop new empirical interatomic potential for the construction of carbon materials. We started by expressing an explicit form of incorporate energy and the local environment to redefine bond order, allowing increased accuracy of computation to be realistic. As a result, we show comparisons of calculations with experiments and other methods for cohesive energy, bond length, mechanical properties, including phonon. The work limitations are also discussed for future use.

Abstract
The problem of ozone depletion lies behind the importance of developing a photodetector device, which is used as a preliminary detection step against the risk of solar radiation. At present, hybrid photodetectors are a major concern because they have detection and operational advantages over conventional photodetectors. In this study, we investigated the optical properties and photoresponse of hybrid ZnO/graphene (HZG) systems, of which ZnO nanorod (ZnO NR) was used in the system. Investigations were carried out using spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE) and solar simulators. The results of SE fittings with the effective medium approximation (EMA) method confirmed that the length of ZnO NR was 27.81 nm, 42.67 nm, and 220.46 nm respectively. We note that increasing the size of ZnO NR promotes light absorption to increase significantly. Furthermore, the relationship between light absorption and HZG photoresponse was discussed using comprehensive analysis.

Abstract
We study the evolution of cluster formation on ultrafast laser induced ablation of Gold nanoparticle by means of Molecular Dynamics simulation. The energy given to the system are in two regime, the lower energy is able to ablate and the higher energy evaporate the nanoparticle into finer cluster. The case for lower energy, the system formed a shell structure with smaller clusters reside within, while for higher energy the system are evaporated and dominated with monomers and small clusters around. The evaporated case shows a compressive pressure all over the simulation time while for lower energy case, tensile pressure are responsible for the fraction of the nanoparticle. Small angle scattering analysis performed at the end of simulation indicated the distribution of cluster sizes are linearly correspond to the cluster size analysis obtained by following trajectories of each atom from Molecular Dynamics scheme.

Abstract
Matoa leaves, beside of their medicinal properties it can so be used for biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles. The factors that play role in the biosynthesis process is pH. Therefore, this study carried out the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using leaves extract of Matoa and the effect of pH on the shape, size and stability of the silver nanoparticles. Biosynthesis was carried out by mixing 2% Matoa extract and 1 mM AgNO3 solution which then incubated for 24 hours. There are four variations of pH used, 4, 7, 9 and 11. Silver nanoparticles were characterize based on color changes, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy), and PSA (Particle Size Analyzer). The photos and UV-Vis spectra of pH treatment showed a change in the color of the solution to yellow-brown and had absorption at a wavelength of 400-500 nm indicating the formation of silver nanoparticles. The TEM results showed that the boiled water of the Matoa leaves tend to have spherical silver nanoparticles. The higher the pH of the reaction environment, smaller silver nanoparticles formed, and the stability of the silver nanoparticles produced tends to be unstable except for AgNP in pH 9 which is moderately stable and has a good monodispersity.

Abstract
Abstract - In general, high-voltage plants are carried out with large and complicated circuits. As research develops, a more simple and efficient series is needed. The Flyback transformer (FBT) method is one method that is often used in generating high voltage with a low DC voltage source. The advantage of this method is to have a simple, efficient and easy to carry series. This circuit consists of a flyback transformer as its main component. This circuit also consists of an ATMega 328 microcontroller, IGBT, and several other supporting components. The initial voltage comes from the PSA which has produced a DC voltage, then it will be forwarded to the IGBT driver which has been given a frequency from the ATMega 328 microcontroller. IGBT functions as a high frequency switching. After that, IGBT which already has a high frequency will be forwarded to the flyback transformer to produce a high voltage, according to the duty cycle regulated by the potentiometer. Frequency and Duty Cycle will be displayed on the LCD. The application of this tool can be carried out on milk pasteurization systems, dielectrics for food ingredients, food sterilization, and air purifiers.

Abstract
We have grown no-doped and Al-doped ZnO thin films with different Al element composition by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis (USP). The deposition by USP was performed with the temperature of 450 oC, ultrasonic frequency of 1.7 MHz, and under atmosphere ambient for 15 minutes on top of Si substrate. No-doped and Al-doped ZnO thin films were confirmed structurally by x-ray diffraction (XRD). Optical measurement also performed in order to observe absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance properties. Photoluminescence properties show two typical ZnO emissions i.e. ultraviolet and visible. Then, the relevance of structural properties and optical properties will be used to analyze the effect of Al element as dopant on characteristic of electrochemical impedance of ZnO thin films.

Abstract
Silver nanoparticles are widely studied because of their superior properties so they are widely used in various applications. Structural modification with the right synthesis method is key to obtaining superior properties of silver nanoparticles. In this experiment, gamma irradiation methods have been used to synthesize silver nanoparticles. This method has been carried out using a solution of AgNO3 metal salt with different molarities, namely 1, 10, 100 and 1000mM then for each molarity were placed in a solution of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The irradiation process was carried out in the cobalt-60 gamma source chamber at doses from 0 to 20kGy with a dose rate of 4.84kGy/h. This process results in a deep yellow Ag/PVA colloid nanoparticles. Increasing the molarity of the AgNO3 causes a decrease in the gamma dose applied. The properties and structure of Ag/PVA nanoparticles were characterized using UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Particle Size Analyzer and Transmission Electron Microscopy. The optical absorption spectra of Ag/PVA nanoparticles were measured using UV-Vis spectrophotometer and showed that the absorption peak was observed at wavelengths of 421-409nm. The absorption intensity increases with increasing gamma dose and reaches the maximum value at a dose of 10kGy. The resulting Ag/PVA nanoparticles have a size below 50nm. The results of the PSA and TEM analysis showed that Ag/PVA nanoparticles show increased stability because of the role of PVA in the synthesis process.

Abstract
High shear modulus coating material does not provide loading effect to the Quartz Crystal Microbalance sensor. The condition is met when the coating material was glassy and the layer was homogeneous. Polystyrene is considered as a glassy coating material when used on 10MHz Quartz Crystal Microbalance. Homogeneous and compact polystyrene coatings that are glassy can be obtained using the spin coating method. The films rigid condition is shown by the sensor impedance value at the series resonance frequency after coating. However, using ultrasonic spray coatings, it was known that polystyrene films are formed not as homogeneous as when coated using spin coatings. We observed that Quartz Crystal Microbalance was damped by the polystyrene film when the coating film was not evenly distributed over the sensor surface, especially on the sensor surface above the electrode. The minimum impedance of the QCM sensor increased significantly. The unevenness of the coating causes the damping effect on the QCM sensor. The minimum sensor impedance before coating was less than 15(Omega). When the polystyrene layer was uneven, we found that the impedance increased by more than 25 (Omega). The results showed that the distribution of polymer layers on the sensor surface is one of the important factors that must be considered to avoid the effect of damping on the sensor. The measurement results showed that the sensor has a negative mass effect.

Abstract
Detection of absorbed dose in materials were irradiated is one method for monitoring irradiation processes. Dyes that are sensitive to ionizing radiation has the potential to used as radiation detectors. This article will report on the fabrication of gamma-rays detector using natural red dyes obtained from Hibiscus sabdariffa L. (HS) calyxes extract. The HS extract solution was made using a simple extraction method which was carried out by soaking the dried HS calyxes with double distilled water as a solvent for 24 hours. Gammacell irradiator with Cobalt-60 radiation source was used to test the sensitivity of HS extract solution to gamma radiation with a dose of 1-10 kGy. UV-Vis spectrophotometer was used to the characterization of optical properties of HS extract solution. After gamma irradiation, it was observed the color of the HS extract solution faded slightly from dark red to more transparent red color along with increasing doses. The results of UV-Vis characterization showed maximum absorbance of HS extract solution at 523 nm and a decrease in absorbance of 95% after irradiation at a dose of 10 kGy. The HS extract solution is stable in the dark storage conditions at the refrigerator up to 30 days of storage.

Abstract
The epidemiologic evidence has been proved that chronic hepatitis C (CHC) infection may significantly contribute to the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCV). Moreover, the prevalence of individual with CHC infection in Indonesia increased dramatically during the last decade. Importantly, there is no preliminary data, whether specific liver derived-hormone, betatrophin/ANGPTL-8/ can contribute to the early stage of HCC caused by HCV infection. The goal of this study was to provide a baseline data of betatrophin profile in subjects with CHC. Nineteen healthy control and fourteen CHC patients were considered as the samples and circulating betatrophin was measured by ELISA. Interestingly, the higher level of betatrophin was observed in an individual with CHC compared to placebo. Furthermore, the linear data was also found that the classical marker of liver injury, ALT significantly increased in the same patients. Based on this critical data, it is suggested that betatrophin may contribute to the early stages of HCC in connection to the gradual changes of HCV DNA and ALT level. Even though this finding could be a hallmark for the essential characteristic of betatrophin in CHC subjects progress to HCC, however, the future study with long-term monitoring in clinical observation of CHC patients is compulsory.

Abstract
Qualified learning will be achieved if the teacher is able to design the learning process well. The indicator of good learning design is if it is able to acomodate the students- different learning style, to give the opportunity for the students to be active, creative, innovative and to dig up students- potency. Thus, it is important to change the teachers- mindset in designing the learning process. Through lesson study based metacognitive strategy, learning is organized through plan, do, see steps. In the plan step, the teacher makes chapter design and lesson design that applies metacognitive strategy. In the do step the students identify basic competence that should be achieved and the steps of the learning process or students activity that should be written in the learning design (self-planning). Then the students recheck the relevance between the basic competence and and the learning steps that should be available (self monitoring). The last step in do is evaluating the process and result of learning organization that the make (self evaluation). The last step is see or reflection where the lecturer together with the observers evaluate the learning process and learning result to revise the future learning. The observation result shows that designing the lesson study based learning activity through metacognitive strategy has changed their view point in making the students learn. They are careful in analyzing the need, relating the relevance between basic competence and the learning steps that should be available. They also get used to recheck the design they have made. From this point they get used to be careful, sistematic, selective, comprehensive, logic, and try to dig up their potency in designing learning activity. Through this effort, it is expected that qualified learning can be achieved.
