Abstract
Inexpensive solar cell comprising PVA.NaCl polymer electrolyte as hole transport medium and TiO2/graphite composite as photon absorbing materials has been succesfully fabricated. A suspension of TiO2 and graphite was easily deposited on Fluorine Tin Oxide using droplet method followed by heating at 200oC for two hours. PVA.NaCl was used replacing PVA.LiOH as hole trasnport medium. The content of NaCl was varied from 2,4,6,8 and 10 % compared to the content of PVA to achieve the best efficiency. 0.5% efficiency was gained using 6% of NaCl content. Although the efficiency was low, but this type of solar cell is promising to be developed in the future since cheap materials and easy fabrication were used.

Abstract
Organic-inorganic CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite nanoparticle have emerged as highly promising semiconductor materials for photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications such as solar cells, light emitting diodes (LEDs), and other luminescent devices because of their optical properties and electrical conductivity. The optical properties of perovskite can be manipulated when bulk structures change into lower-dimensional structures to obtain the desired optical properties. However, perovskite suffers from a stability problem that makes it degrade easily. Fumed silica (SiO2) is one of the complementary material that is expected to improve the photoluminescence stability of perovskite. In this study, we added fumed silica (SiO2) as a composite material to CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite nanoparticle, with a varied precipitation temperature prepared by ligand-assisted reprecipitation method (LARP). A preliminary study of the SiO2 effects was conducted based on the photoluminescence (PL) characterization using a fluorescence spectrophotometer, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

Abstract
In this work, multi wall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) doped borate glass has been successfully developed by melt quenching technique with the chemical composition 67.5B2O3-20ZnO-12Gd2O3-Er2O3-0.5MWCNT. Several peaks observed from absorption spectra due to transition from 4I15/2 as a ground state into several states i.e. 4G11/2, 4F7/2, 4F5/2, 2H11/2, 4F9/2, 4I11/2, and 4I13/2. The sample shows a strong emission in 1536 nm because of 4I13/2→4I15/2 transition under 524 nm wavelength excitation. Emission around 412 nm under 275 excitation could be the indication for presence of MWCNT. The sample exhibits NIR to NIR up-conversion under 1500 nm excitation. Absorption data have been used to calculate optical band gap energy through Tauc plot method. This study shows that MWCNT doped borate glass could be a promising material for solid state application in NIR region.

Abstract
We report the successful development of an all-solid state laser based on a Czochralski method-grown cerium-doped lithium calcium aluminum fluoride (Ce3+:LiCaAlF6) crystal as the gain medium. Results for the broadband, narrow linewidth and short pulse laser emission are obtained by pumping with 7 ns pulses at 266 nm from the fourth harmonics of a Nd:YAG laser operating at 10 Hz repetition rate. The effects of output coupler reflectivitiy, resonator length and pump energy on the laser pulse duration were explored. With broadband configuration, a maximum output pulse energy of a few mJ was achieved. Sub-nanosecond UV laser pulses were generated from a low-Q and short resonator under near threshold pump energy. By replacing the end mirror with a grating, tunability from 281 nm to 299 nm with linewidth of about 0.2 nm is achieved. For high power ultrashort ultraviolet laser development, we have investigated the prospects of using a diamond-cut Ce:LiCAF crystal in a two-side-pumping configuration, and performed calculations on the optimum geometry, size, and absorption coefficient that will serve as a guideline when developing a UV laser oscillator and femtosecond amplifier. Results show that there is a trade-off between homogeneity and absorption ratio for absorption coefficients greater than 1.5 cm−1. Moreover, a larger crystal with lower doping concentration would be more homogeneous and would have a higher absorption ratio, regardless of geometry. Our results suggest the possibility of developing an all-solid-state ultraviolet laser operating at TW level by appropriately designing the amplifier crystal in conjunction with a multiple-beam side-pumping configuration.

Abstract
Sodium gadolinium phosphate oxide and sodium gadolinium oxyfluoride glasses doped with europium oxide were prepared by melt-quenching technique. The physical, optical properties of the glass samples were studied. The density, molar volume and refractive index of the glass samples were carried out. Density and molar volume of oxide glass is more than oxyfluoride glass. The average phosphate to phosphate distance for oxide glass seems to be more than oxyfluoride glass. Polaron radius, inter-ionic radius shows 1.181 nm, 2.88 nm and 1.174 nm, 2.86 nm for oxide glass and oxyfluoride glasses respectively. Oxide electronic Polarizability and optical basicity of the oxide glass are lower than oxy-fluoride glass. Theoretical optical basicity shows higher for oxide glass than oxyfluoride suggesting increase in covalency of the cation to oxygen bonds in oxide glass. Optical band gap were estimated and found to be 3.061eV and 3.204 eV for oxide and oxyfluoride glass. Theoretical two photon absorption coefficient β were evaluated and found to be 11.96 and 10.80 for oxide and oxyfluoride glasses respectively. Furthermore, the glasses were subjected to study for their luminescence properties of the oxide and oxyfluoride glass samples.

Abstract
The change of surface vegetation also links to the evapotranspiration pattern so that the moisture flux might be affected by the atmospheric stratiform or convective clouds, meant to be important in balancing hydrological cycle and the more analyzing is necessary to explain this phenomenon. The aim of this paper to analyze the complex phenomenon that link in spatial correlation of cloud response towards land surface change that ensued from cloud microphysical components. Fourteen years from 2003 to 2016 over Indonesia was applied that issued by Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) level-3 (L3) provides both cloud and land surface products. Cloud microphysical features consist of cloud fraction, cloud top pressure, cloud optical thickness, and cloud effective radius, whereas Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) was applied to identify the land surface change. The distribution of spatial correlation and probability distribution function are used as the method to determine each cloud microphysical components response to land surface change. Concerning annual result, desirable connections among correlation between NDVI and cloud parameters is rather widely. Probabilistic approach from statistical analysis in the wet season forms palpably pattern (parabolic pattern) rather than a dry season pattern. Correlation values based on spatial analysis between NDVI anomalies and cloud parameter anomalies have a range of values around -0.8 to 0.8. Throughout Indonesia, every correlation between NDVI anomalies and cloud parameter anomalies has a negative correlation. Sumatra, Kalimantan and Papua have a major role to inject negative correlations. This causes this area to be covered with oil palm plantations.

Abstract
The Regional Representative Council (DPD) was born in the era where changes to the 1945 Constitution occurred and new problems appeared in the representation system in Indonesia. Based on the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD) NRI Article 22 C Year 1945, DPD members that are elected through elections and DPD members from each province consist of the same number that is four members, this shows the same provisions without considering the territorial territory and the population of each province. In UUD NRI Article 22 D Year 1945, the regional representative council does not hold any power to form a law. The regional representative council can only submit a draft law to the regional representative council, thus they are unable to make a final political decision. The limited authority of the legislative function of DPD has become a necessity for its reconstruction. Legally, the improvement of this legislation can be done by regularly developing the UUD NRI Year 1945. This is to avoid the implementation of the function of the regional representative council, which does not reflect the spirit of democracy and as one of the mandates of popular sovereignty.

Abstract
The negative impact of air pollution resulted from transportation sector gives a strong signal to many countries, including Indonesia, in order to deliver less polluting and more energy efficient modes of transport. Indonesia is the one of the highest greenhouse gas emitters in the world with progressive growth of gasoline cars and motorcycles sales over the years. Indonesian government has identified the problem and has been planning to support the implementation of Electric Vehicles (EV). One new local electric scooter manufacturer named GESITS has been developing the electric scooter in response to the Indonesian government-s plan of vehicle electrification. The question then arises as to what sort of policy required to foster the electric vehicles introduction to the market and to make the uptake self-sustaining. This study reports on system dynamics model-based study of factors which may influence demand for electric vehicles with Bandung City as the study area. The core of this paper is system dynamic model, which enable us to identify significant factors to get successful diffusion of Electric Scooters taking into account the complexity of several interrelated elements. The model used in this study builds on system dynamic work by Struben and Sterman (2008) and extends it with similar approach done by Shepherd et al (2012) to allow analysis of the Bandung market. This study contributes to past literature since none of them studied the diffusion model for electric scooters. We show that certain attributes such as price and range have a decent impact on take-up under business as usual case if we set them as dynamic value that affected by cumulative experience instead of fixed value, while subsidies have little impact on take-up. We introduce a conditional marketing scenario and tests the impact of policies such as removal of fuel subsidies and instead adding a fuel tax on gasoline motorcycle, as well as impact of vehicle attribute factors such as charging method to tip the market into successful trajectory. This study explored the sensitivity of the results to assumptions on reference rate of social exposure, average scooter life, and word of mouth. The results of this study have significant policy implications that will benefit policy makers

Abstract
Women participation in the higher education of Indonesia has been increasing in the last decades though the gender inequality in the labour markets and public life is still considered as a major issue of the society. Aside from the fact, another form of gender inequality has been presumed to be more salience in the classrooms of universities across Indonesia. By taking a case amongst students in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia, the forms of gender inequality has been found in the different degrees of activities, participations and workloads between male and female students respectively. Female students seems to be more eagerly to actively participate in the classrroom activities thus situating them with more responsibilities to organise other students works/assignments and/or managing other non-academic and social matters of their class and cohort. Whilst male students, though seems less active in the classroom activities, are preferred to take more prominent roles in the leadership affairs including the student union of the department, of the faculty, and of the university. By examining the salient gender inequality in the university classrooms, it is expected to give sort of clues of the similar issue within the social life of the Indonesian society.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to described the perception of Education women career of the Al-Qur-an of surah An-Nisa verse 34 and the impact of harmony in families. Being a career woman, has its own problems because of two demands at the same time, namely the demands of career and demands in the family. This study has been previously started to 30 women career. The data has been evaluated by quantitatively and qualitatively approach (mixed methods). A qualitative approach is practice to explicate the woman officers career opinion to Surah An-Nisa verse 34, even though the quantitative approach is used to designate the grade of harmony of women family. For quantitative data, we use the interview. Based on the study and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) the career woman (Muslim) perceives or believes that the Quran, surah An-Nisa verse 34 which is only related to male leadership in the context of worship, especially worship and in the house stairs. Therefore, womens career officials see that their position in public office is not contradictory to the verse, (2) the harmony of women household career officers in general including the harmonious family. This level of harmony is in the "moderate" category, which means there are some indicators of family harmony that are not attained in female career female officials. Nevertheless, given the career women officers have big responsibilities, both related to their work and with their household, career women need to do strategic things in order to increase family harmonization.

Abstract
Research on Islamic boarding schools has been carried out by many other researchers, but the actual moral development method in Islamic boarding schools is still very neglected. This study explores actual moral learning methods in Islamic boarding schools in Pekanbaru City in the face of the challenges of the disruption era in Indonesia. Using a multiple-case study approach, this research selected five Islamic boarding schools in Pekanbaru, selecting their principals, teachers, and students as informants. The findings suggest that the developing of the actual morals of students in the challenges of the disruption era found four learning methods, namely; the qawlan sadidan method is used when students in daily interactions take actions that are not in accordance with Islamic norms; Qawlan balighan method is used when teaching students pesrta material must be able to directly absorb learning material and be practiced in life; the qisah wa al-tarikh method is used in making students aware of violating pesantren rules; and the dialogue method is used to invite students to talk about behavior that is done to provide self-awareness.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the assessment process of educational personnel, describe the obstructions during the assessment and formulate the solutions to manage the obstructions in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Jambi. This research applies qualitative descriptive method. The data were collected by doing an observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate the performance assessment process of educational personnel, particularly those with permanent status (civil servant) in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Jambi is carried out fairly well by referring to Government Regulation and applicable law. The appraisal is based on the Employee Work Objectives (EWO) and work behavior. This assessment was processed by the appraisal officials, the Head of Administration and the headmaster. The Employee Work Objectives made by the educational personnel contain periodic reports on performance results made in daily, weekly, monthly and annual periods. Therefore, the work behavior is assessed by the appraisal officials during the working time based on aspects of service orientation, integrity, commitment, discipline, cooperation, and leadership. The assessment of educational personnel in Madrasah from 2016 to 2017has improved, specifically in the appraisement of Employee Work Objectives, discipline, service, and work commitment. However, obstacles are also found in the implementation of the assessment as in the malfunction of fingerprint devices when the power outage happens and the subjectivity in assessing educational personnel. The solution to overcome these obstacles is to prepare an official report to replace the failure of fingerprint device as proof of the presence of educational personnel, and to do evaluation and advisement together along with the assessed officials and the assessors to avoid any subjectivity in performance appraisal of education personnel.

Abstract
The discussion pertaining environmental issues is closely related with the notion of low carbon. The research has been done to investigate how the students in elementary schools understand how to practice the environmental issues. The descriptive analysis method is carried out to capture students views on environmental practices that are closely related to their daily lives. The subject involved were 60 students from third and sixth grades of one elementary school. The students were asked to read 24 statements about environmental practices, and responded by choosing one of the three answer choices: do, sometimes do, never do. The research shows that most of student sometimes do the good environmental issues, but there are quite a lot of students who never do these. The teacher confessed that they have not been intensely engaged in learning about good environmental practices. They really expect the existence of teaching materials that can be used as guideline. They also hope for the availability of special learning models.

Abstract
Oily-Sludge is a waste that occurs in processing, distributing, and storing petroleum. On the other hand, Buton Asphalt in Buton Island has a natural asphalt content that is not less than 650 million tons, with Buton Asphalt content varies between 10-35% which is equivalent to 170 tons of oil asphalt (Department of Public Works, 2010). The problems faced by the asbuton pavement as a binder is the quality of asphalt concrete produced cannot yet compete the oil asphalt pavement as a binder. In this study, a test is conducted to identify the behavior and characteristics of Marshall and dynamic stability on the mixture of Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course (AC-WC) with the use of asbuton as binder and OS as the rejuvenation material of asbuton. The variation of asphalt content used are 4,5%, 5%, 5,5%, 6%, and 6,5%. Based on the result of the test, the dynamic stability value of asphalt and asbuton mixture that has been rejuvenated has a higher value than the mixture without asbuton.
